Abstract

This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed to assess the knowledge of the health centers staff of ILAM on the NUTRITION during PREGNANCY in 1997. In this research, 51 cases were randomly picked up out of ten centers in ILAM.Questionnaires, as the gathering tools, were used to collect the needed data, and the crostalvalis, Manvitini and Fisher tests were used to analyse the findings.The results implied that most the case centers (84.3%) were acceptably of good knowledge, and the rate average of AWARENESS, according to sexed, was 25.94 in women while it was 26.36 in men. No significant relation was seen between the sex variables, marital status, education level, occupational records and AWARENESS rate as well as the knowledge rate average.
