Abstract

 HYDROPHILIC SURFACE MODIFICATION OF NANOSILICA WERE INVESTIGATED BY FORIER TRANSFORM INFRARED (FTIR), WATER CONTACT ANGLE AND WATER WETTABILITY TESTS FOR DIFFERENT SURFACE MODIFIER INCLUDE VINYL TRIMETHOXYSILANE (VTMO), 3-AMINOPROPYLTRIETHOXYSILANE (AMEO), Ɣ-(2, 3-2, 3-EPOXYPROPOXY) PROPYL TRIMETHOXYSILANE AND VINYL TREE (2-METHOXYETHOXY) SILANE. TEST RESULTS SHOWN THAT SURFACE MODIFICATION BY DIFFERENT TYPE OF SILANE WAS OCCURRED.
