Abstract

IN 1948 RICKART PROVED THAT ANY MULTIPLICATIVE ISO-MORPHISM OF BOOLEAN RING ONTO AN ARBITRARY RING IS NECESSARILY ADDITIVE. WE WANT TO EXTEND THIS THEOREM TO A LARGER CLASS OF MAP-PINGS.
