Abstract

NAIR AND NAIR (1989) SHOWED THAT BIVARIATE MEAN RESIDUAL LIFE FUNCTION CHARACTERIZES THE DISTRIBUTION UNIQUELY. THE SUBJECT OF THIS PAPER IS TO VERIFY HOW CLOSELY THE BIVARIATE QUANTILE RESIDUAL LIFE FUNCTION DETERMINES THE DISTRIBUTION.
