Abstract

In the present world, when the increase of population caused crowdly spaces, full of people, psychological pressures caused by a lot of contact between peoples, implies and dictate the necessity of deep investigations on personal space, privacy and crowdness applied in artificial environments. Architects and designers, with better concept of these problems, practically can evaluate these events, and make feasible them in such artificial environments. Privacy, which acts as a border between the peoples has a dialectic concept. In other words, being separate from others, or making a connection with them has its priority time, and because of this reason the artificial world should be flexible in this field. Going to extreme for each of the above categories "Separation and Connection with each other" cause a lot of unwilling phenomenon which results, crowdness or isolation. Personal space (which be occurred in connection of distance and angles towards others) and its traditional space (which has been divided to three categories such as preliminary stage, secondary stage and general stages) are the factors which order the privacy space and so a designer or architect should have knowledge about them. On the other hand, the living and working space are among the prior requirements of human being which has its' important role in the complexity of buildings and towers, sky scrapers designs. The artificial environments which have been contrasted by human, or used by the people and will destroy or maintain under human hand, has a very deep effects on human behavior which could not be designed. In description of space always we attend to its operative category. But to be operative in such a way cause different concepts. For example in some theories a street is assumed as a place for dividing but in other beliefs the street has some social affects. Although a lot of investigation have been made on these respects, but their management for execution has a lot of troubles. According to the belief of architects, the progress in adaptivable spaces are the only way to remove these troubles, and this aim, requires a very "closed relations between the architects and psychologists. It should be mentioned that the origin of this writing is in English and its translation have been done by Mr. Abmad Hejab, and I want to say thank to this gentleman.
