Abstract

Using a courpus including five translations of Animal Farm by George Orwell (1983), this paper tried to specify the structures used in PERSIAN for translating English PASSIVE structures and the potentials of PERSIAN were put forward to the translators. The tructures used with different frequencies in PERSIAN were categorized to 11 types that can be an indication of the Translaors' styles.
