Abstract

In order to study the effect of RAPESEED MEAL on the serum total protein, albumin, cholesterol, AST, ALT. ALP and LDH in blood serum of broiler CHICKS, one hundred and sixty broiler CHICKS were divided into 4 equal groups of 40 each, and each group in four replicates. The CHICKS were fed diet containing 0%, 15%, 25% and 100% of RAPESEED MEAL in replacement of soya meal up to 42 days. The blood sample was collected from wing vein of five CHICKS from each group randomly and the above mentioned parameters were measured by routine laboratory methods by automate biochemical analyzer. The results of statistic analysis showed that there was no significant difference between CHICKS receiving a diet containing RAPESEED MEAL and control group (P>0.05%). ALT in CHICKS fed diet containing 100% RAPESEED MEAL compared to control group and group fed diet containing 25% RAPESEED MEAL and AST level in CHICKS fed a diet containing 100% RAPESEED MEAL were significantly higher than other groups (P<0.05). The cholesterol level in CHICKS fed 25% RAPESEED MEAL compared to the control group, and ALT level in CHICKS receiving 15% RAPESEED MEAL were significantly higher than other groups at 42 days of age (P< 0.05).
