Abstract

In the shared Leadership everyone in the organization has responsibilities and all people are involved in organizational decision making. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the dimensions of shared Leadership in government organizations. This study in terms of purpose was fundamental and in terms of implementation method was qualitative. The study population had two parts, the first part included foreign and domestic articles of shared Leadership in the years 2008 to 2018, which number of 35 articles were selected as a sample by purposive sampling method and the second part included experts of shared Leadership in government organizations of Isfahan city in 2019 year, which according to the theoretical saturation principle number of 20 people were selected as a sample by purposive sampling method. For data collection were used from taking notes from articles and in-depth interviews with experts’,method, whose validity was confirmed by 10 experts and their reliability was obtained by Kendall agreement coefficient method 0. 87. Data were analyzed by thematic analysis method in MAXQDA software. Findings showed that the comprehensive theme of shared Leadership in government organizations had 45 basic themes in 9 organizational themes including the dimensions of individual, group, environmental, organizational, administrative health, administrative corruption, work ethic, political behavior and Islamic management. Finally, the pattern of dimensions of shared Leadership in government organizations was drawn. According to the results of the present study, planning is essential to improve shared Leadership in government organizations through the identified dimensions and themes.
