Abstract:

Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory arthritis specified by some antibodies. Although the most relevant antibody is rheumatoid factor (RF), it has little sensitivity and specificity for diagnosis of RA. Other groups of antibodies that are produced against the citrullinated epitopes have been proved to be more specific for diagnosing RA. Anti-CCP testing based on ELISA assay is the most effective test for detecting anti-filaggrin antibodies. Positive values of anti-CCP antibody a few years before the clinical signs and symptoms of RA along with high concentrations of this antibody in the synovial fluid increase the probability of citrollination in the pathogenesis of the disease. A combination of anti-CCP and RF would increase the sensitivity of both tests. Most previous studies have used RF as a gold standard for evaluating the diagnostic value of anti-CCP. However, RF is known to have a low sensitivity and specificity. Therefore, we decided to realistically evaluate the diagnostic value of anti-CCP based on American college of rheumatology (ACR) criteria as a gold standard. Methods This was a descriptive study to evaluate the diagnostic value on 49 RA patients and 49 individuals with other rheumatic diseases. Blood samples were taken to measure erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), RF, anti-CCP. Disease activity was then determined by DAS28. Data analysis was performed by 2 × 2 tables, chi-square test and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve for tradeoff points. We used SPSS15.Findings: Data analysis showed anti-CCP to have a sensitivity of 71%, a specificity of 80%, a positive predictive value of 78%, a negative predictive value of 74%, a positive likelihood ratio of 3.55 and a negative likelihood ratio of 0.36. In this study, anti-CCP and RF had a statistically significant correlation (P<0.001).Conclusion: Anti-CCP is a test with a high predictive value for diagnosing RA.

Background and Aim: increasing esthetic demands in patients have led to increasing use of ceramic as a restoration. Meanwhile the bond strength of ceramic to dention is a challenging factor. This study aimed to compare the effect of 3 different resin cements on shear bond strength of porcelin to dentin.Materials and Method: Thirty freshly extracted bovine incisors were used for this investigation. Following extraction and cleaning, teeth were stored in a 0.2% Thymol solution for 48 hours and then randomly divided in to 3 groups of 10 each. Teeth underwent a 2 mm preparation on the buccal surface in order to expose fresh dentin. Porcelain tubes, 3 mms in diameter and 3 milimeters in height, were then bonded to the dentin using RelyXARC, Nexus, and Punavia F2 samples were then light – cured for a total time of 120 seconds (40 seconds for each directions) using Coltolux 2.5 USA light-curing unit with an intensity of 400 mw/cm. Two Samples were then stored a temperature of 37oC for 24 hours and finally thermocycled (500 times +5-+55). Then, they were for shear bond strength with Zwick with a chisel– like shearing device till fracture occurred at 0.5 mm/min cross head speed. Results: Shear bond strengths in Mpa was as follows’:Mean Standard deviationRelyX ARC- 3.56±0.82Panavia F2- 6.09±0.54Nexus- 4.46±0.59Conclusion: Panavia F2 revealed a significantly higher shear bond strength compared to the other groups. Nexus demonstrated a higher shear bond strength compared to RelyX ARC but this difference was not statistically significant.

Abstract:

Banks, as levers in mACRoeconomic policies, by regulating and adjusting the bank's interest rates, enforce monetary policies and controls inflation and unemployment, which is one of the most important mACRoeconomic goals. One of these tools is asset-debt management. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop the Asset Correlation Risk Model (ACR) with the Asset-Liability Management approach (ALM). This research is descriptive in nature and in terms of its purpose. The statistical population of the research is the companies accepted in the Tehran Stock Exchange and the sample of the banks accepted in this collection, which can be extracted from the research data. The research period is from 1391 to 1396, with 20 banks selected as research samples. This research has a theoretical model and a vector error correction model was used to test the hypotheses. According to the t-statistic and the coefficient of estimation of the VECM model, it is determined that the effect of using the debt-asset management approach on the asset-liability correlation risk in a long-term equilibrium is decreasing.

Abstract:

Background: The effect of region of interest (ROI) size variation on producing accurate noise levels is not yet studied. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the influence of ROI sizes on the accuracy of noise measurement in computed tomography (CT) by using images of a computational and American College of Radiology (ACR) phantoms. Material and Methods: In this experimental study, two phantoms were used, including computational and ACR phantoms. A computational phantom was developed by using Matlab R215a software (Mathworks Inc., Natick, MA Natick, MA) with a homogeneously +100 Hounsfield Unit (HU) value and an added-Gaussian noise with various levels of 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 HU. The ACR phantom was scanned with a Philips MX-16 slice CT scanner in different slice thicknesses of 1. 5, 3, 5, and 7 mm to obtain noise variation. Noise measurement was conducted at the center of the phantom images and four locations close to the edge of the phantom images using different ROI sizes from 3×3 to 41×41 pixels, with an increased size of 2×2 pixels. Results: The use of a minimum ROI size of 21×21 pixels shows noise in the range of ±, 5% ground truth noise. The measured noise increases above the ±, 5% range if the used ROI is smaller than 21×21 pixels. Conclusion: A minimum acceptable ROI size is required to maintain the accuracy of noise measurement with a size of 21×21 pixels.
