THE RECENT PROGRESS IN THE PHOSPHORAMIDATES CHEMISTRY IS OWING TO THEIR SIGNIFICANT APPLICATIONS IN MEDICINE [1-3]. THE INHIBITORY POTENCY OF CARBACYLAMIDOPHOSPHATES WITH THE GENERAL FORMULA RC(O)NHP(O)R1R2 (THAT ARE ONE GROUP OF PHOSPHORAMIDATES) ON UREASE ACTIVITY HAS BEEN STUDIED [4]. CONSIDERING MANY UNKNOWN POINTS ABOUT SYNTHESIS OF PHOSPHOR AMIDES NANOPARTICLES, THE BASIS OF THIS RESEARCH IS ON THE BETTER AND DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SYNTHESIS, SPECTROSCOPIC AND STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PHOSPHOR AMIDES AND ALSO THE APPLICATIONS OF THESE COMPOUNDS, ESPECIALLY IN THE FIELD OF FIRE RETARDANT ON COTTON FIBERS. IN THIS RESEARCH, FIRST ONE PHOSPHOR AMIDE INTERMEDIATE PHCONHP(O)CL2 WAS SYNTHESIZED. THEN THIS INTERMEDIATE WAS REACTED WITH THE H2O AND ALLYLAMINE AND TWO NEW COMPOUNDS WITH FORMULA PHCONHP(O)X2, WHERE X = OH (1) AND NH-CH2-CH=CH2 (2) WAS OBTAINED. THE 1H, 13C, 31P NMR, FT-IR AND FLUORESCENCE SPECTRA OF THESE COMPOUNDS WERE STUDIED. IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE ANALYSES, THE XRD PATTERNS AND FE-SEM IMAGES OF THE NANOPARTICLES PREPARED BY ULTRASONIC METHOD WERE USED TO INVESTIGATE THE SHAPE AND SIZE OF THE NANOPARTICLES. THE 31P NMR SPECTRA INDICATED THE PHOSPHORUS CHEMICAL SHIFTS AT 2.15 AND 10.29 PPM FOR COMPOUNDS 1 AND 2, RESPECTIVELY. THE FT-IR SPECTRA REVEALED THE P=O STRETCHING FREQUENCIES FOR 1 AND 2 AT 1242, 1273 CM-1, RESPECTIVELY. THE XRD AND FE-SEM ANALYSES CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTICLES ARE SPHERICAL IN MORPHOLOGY ABOUT 30-40 NM IN SIZE.
