چکیده: 

The edge base Bleed type is presented in this paper. Based on the advantages of computational fluid dynamics ‎and the firing range prediction of base Bleed projectile, the flight ballistic of base Bleed projectile with two kinds ‎of base Bleed type is solved by using the computational aerodynamics coupled with particle trajectory, obtained ‎the change laws of operation parameter, flow filed of base Bleed projectile with time. The results show that: The ‎performance of the edge base Bleed type is better than that of the traditional center base Bleed type, and the ‎fire range of the base Bleed projectile with edge type is about 2 km higher than that of the center type. The base ‎Bleed parameter of the two kinds of base Bleed type at the state of drag reduction increase first and then ‎decrease with the increase of time. For the center base Bleed type, the drag coefficient increases with time. For ‎the edge base Bleed type, the drag coefficient is nearly stable at the reduction state, and is always smaller than ‎that of the center base Bleed type. The base flow structure of the edge base Bleed type does not change with ‎both the time and base Bleed parameter. The base Bleed gas always forms the main recirculation zone at the ‎bottom of projectile and plays the role of drag reduction‎‎.

«بیس بلید» (Base Bleed) با ایجاد گاز در پشت گلوله یکی از جدیدترین پیشرفت های حاصل در طراحی گلوله های توپ می باشد. در این نوع مهمات برای دستیابی به برد بیش تر، انتهای گلوله به سیستم ایجاد گاز توسط سوخت جامد مجهز گردیده است. نقش سیستم مزبور کاهش شدید نیروی پسای (Drage) حاصل از خلاء تشکیل شده در انتهای گلوله بوده به طوری که برد گلوله را حدود 30% افزایش می دهد. این مهمات با توجه به تکنولوژی بالایی که دارد تاکنون فقط در کشورهای پیشرفته جهان ساخته می شد به طوری که کارخانه لوشر فرانسه جایزه بهترین طراحی مهمات را در سال 1985 نصیب خود کرده است. «جهاددانشگاهی واحد صنعتی شریف» پس از انجام تحقیقات مقدماتی و ساخت نمونه اولیه، کلیه تجهیزات مورد نیاز تولید این گلوله را در دستور کار خود قرار داد و به منظور تولید انبوه آن، فرمان های لازم جهت کنترل و تولید قطعات استاندارد را طراحی و ساخت آن را به انجام رساند. این اقدام صرفه جویی ارزی قابل توجهی در تهیه مهمات، افزایش توان صنعتی و تولیدی دربر داشته است.

This case is about a complication of abdominal tuberculosis in the form of a massive lower gastrointestinal (GI) Bleed, which was timely intervened by angioembolization. A young man in his mid 20's on empirical anti-tubercular therapy (ATT) for abdominal tuberculosis, presented with severe abdominal pain. The patient then developed frank per rectal Bleeding, leading to a significant drop in hemoglobin level, requiring multiple blood transfusions. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (UGI) and colonoscopy findings were inconclusive. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) of the abdomen was performed, which revealed a contrast extravasation into the jejunum due to a leak in the jejunal branch of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA), followed by selective SMA angiography (digital subtraction angiography), which was arrested by angioembolization. The patient had multiple abdominal lymphadenopathies with omental nodules. Histopathological examination of the omental nodules revealed epithelioid granuloma with Langerhans-type cells. The patient is currently receiving ATT and is doing well.

A series of experiments were conducted to study impacts of the free-stream Mach number, back pressure, and Bleed on the stability of a supersonic intake. The ow stability is related to the buzz phenomenon, i. e. the oscillation of all shock waves of the intake, which may also occur when the intake mass ow rate is decreasing. In this study, the intake was axisymmetric with Mach number of 2. 0. The results showed that stability margin of the intake decreased when the freestream Mach number increased for both Bleedo and Bleed-on cases. In the con guration without Bleed, the frequency of buzz oscillation increased when the freestream Mach number decreased or when back pressure increased. By applying Bleed and, consequently, preventing separation of the ow, the intake became more stable and the shocks oscillated with a smaller amplitude during the buzz phenomenon. Also, when the Bleed was applied, the buzz triggering mechanism varied from the Dailey criterion to the Ferri one, which considerably changed stability characteristics of the intake.

چکیده: 

Melanoma is a very aggressive skin cancer that could metastasize to any organ in the body. The treatment of melanomas includes surgical resection, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. After resections, melanomas could recur at the previous site or present as a distant metastatic lesion. The symptoms of melanoma are vague and primarily occur because of the local disruption of the tissue architecture. Presented here is a case of gastric melanoma that presented with abdominal discomfort and melena in a patient with a history of penile melanoma that was completely resected 3 years earlier. This case illustrates the importance of having metastatic lesions to the intestinal tract as a differential for a patient with gastrointestinal hemorrhage.

A 35 year-old woman underwent uterine artery embolization (UAE) for uterine fibroid. Just the fibroid was expelled (seventy days after UAE), massive uterine Bleeding occurred which was treated by super-selective uterine artery re-embolization. Three hours after the re-embolization, Bleeding stopped and follow-ups showed complete elimination of menstrual, urinary and bulk-related symptoms. Massive hemorrhage after fibroid expulsion is probable and embolization of uterine arteries is a favorite alternative treatment for this condition.
