Abstract:

The present study was conducted in order to determine the proper extender for poultry semen among Beltsville, Ringer and milk and the comparison of various proportions of different extenders applied for DILUTION (semen-over-extender ratios 1:1 and 1:2) and its impact on fertility and semen storage period (non-storage or 24-hour storage). This study was carried out in the Isfahan Center for Breeding and Production of Native Hens. The study consisted of eleven treatments and each treatment included three roosters as replicate and 24 hens. Collected semen was diluted in 1:1 and 1:2 ratios by various extenders and insemination was conducted immediately or after a 24-hour storage period at 5 degrees of centigrade. The results indicated that following a 24-hour storage period, fertility declined and that the effect of various insemination periods on fertility proved to be significant (P<0.01). There was no significant difference between the 1:1 and 1:2 ratios for the extenders (P<0.05). Among the extenders, when using non-stored semen, employment of the1:1 Ringer extenders produced the highest fertility and there was no significant difference between the Beltsville and control extender. However, using milk as extender lowered the fertility. In conclusion, none of the applied extenders are proper for semen storage and application of Ringer as extender resulted in the highest fertility.

Abstract:

Thermal pollution refers to the alteration of water properties caused by the use of water as a cooling fluid. This occurs when water is pulled from a water source, condensed to release heat, and then recirculated back into the water source as thermal discharge. The characteristics of thermal discharge DILUTION are influenced by factors such as jet momentum, buoyancy, turbulence-induced distribution, density stratification of the surrounding environment, configuration of water currents, presence of solid boundaries, and heat exchange at the surface. A single-port diffuser is used for the discharge of hot water. This study employed experimental methods to investigate the impact of fixed vanes on the thermal effluent DILUTION of a single-port submerged diffuser. The use of fixed vanes increases the DILUTION of a single-port submerged diffuser. Using fixed vans for H= 1, ΔTm was reduced by 3.13%, 10.26%, and 2.74%, and ΔTe was reduced by 15.66%, 17.86%, and 22.86%, respectively, for each flow ratio. For H= 2, ΔTm decreased by 2.38%, 3.41%, and 4.48%, and ΔTe decreased by 8.33%, 15%, and 16.67%, respectively, for each flow ratio. For H= 3, ΔTm decreased by 2.86%, 2.22%, and 3.45%, and ΔTe decreased by 5%, 29.41%, and 22.73%, respectively, for each flow ratio. In addition, increasing the Reynolds number ratio reduces the mixing zone and increases the DILUTION temperature.

Abstract:

: In underground stopes, unplanned DILUTION occurs due to the over-break and slough of walls and roof, consequently mixing the ore with wastes. This phenomenon not only leads to a reduction in the grade, but also imposes some costs due to the grade deficit, and wastes money and energy for extraction of wastes. Hence, measuring the over-break and slough of roof and walls of the stopes is considered critical in underground mining, in order to determine the unplanned DILUTION and the study of its economic side-effects. In this paper, the effects of unplanned DILUTION on grade reduction, mining costs increase, and profit reduction was investigated using the cavity monitoring system (CMS). The system was implemented on 24 stopes of Venarch manganese mines, defining the linear equivalent of over-break and slough (ELOS) for the DILUTION, which led to understand the relations between the over-break and DILUTION parameters and the economic parameters, including the equation for predicting the loss of profit. Results of data analysis indicated that the break-even of the over-break was 2. 18 m that caused a DILUTION of 67. 38%; any further over-break will be loss-making.

Abstract:

Blood money DILUTION is, inter alia, serious objective and unique quality conducted in four ways. Intensifying or DILUTION of blood money is unique to murder crime differs in terms of time and location of murder in Haram months or in Mecca. Islamic Penal Law ratified in 2013 has followed jurisprudents' opinion in some cases of blood money DILUTION while in the case of execution, Judiciary has ignored border between deliberate murder, unintentional murder, and pure error by determining only one kind of blood money and in this perspective. They have added to Islamic criminal laws the way of blood money DILUTION. Present paper in studies four methods of blood money DILUTION and emphasizes on the necessity to determine and dilute blood money in different types of murder.
