Abstract:

1. Introduction: The technique of soil nailing as a method of soil reinforcement in situ has been increasingly used to stabilize open excavations. Analyzing of the soil nailed structure by numerical models is an appropriate method for predictions of the deformation behavior of a soil nailing wall and actual mobilized forces in the nail. In this paper, 3D FD analysis was used to investigate of soil nailing wall mechanism in cohesion and granular soils under service state and limit state. The behavior is investigated to study influence of: (1) shear strength of the soil, (2) distribution of nail lengths. The results can be useful for the design of soil nailed structures...

Abstract:

FD-CVC (Feature Detection-Compressible Vorticity Confinement) methods were introduced by the authors in the past [1] and its result for some simple problems was investigated. In the present study, FDCVC methods are used to study vortex flows around bluff bodies such as projectile and square cylinder. The ability and flexibility of the methods in more complex and applied problems are studied in this paper. It is observed that using the FD-CVC methods, by limiting the effect of vorticity confinement to the points needed, improve the results. It is seen the proper functioning of these methods on various confinement parameters (using threshold function) shows the superiority of the present method over the standard CVC method.

Abstract:

Schools are faced with a variety of new challenges in the modern era. Cultural and socioeconomic developments, the increasing costs of financing schools, poorly-motivated teachers, the increasing harms caused by students’ free access to information and communication technologies and students’ inadequate academic motivation are issues that stress the important mission of the principal as the main element involved in realizing educational objectives. Given emerging paradigms such as increased school autonomy and the need for accountability, the school leadership is globally considered one of the main aspects contributing to the progress of schools. Attention to school principals’ managerial competencies and their development is an inescapable necessity, and failure to address these competencies in selecting principals leads to the loss of enormous financial and human resources as well as the dissatisfaction of the teachers and parents. The definitions of competency can be summarized in three groups. The first group refers to visible functions that focus on the results or completion of tasks, and specific functions have therefore been defined as competencies that form the basis for the individual’ s performance evaluation, supervision and judgement. The second group regards competencies as quality standards for the individual's performance output and associates competencies with workplace efficiency or productivity. Competency is thus defined as visible standards or performances within the organizational context. The third group defines competencies as inherent personal attributes such as knowledge, skills and tendencies to perform competently. However, in recent decades, there has been a growing consensus in the field of human resources that introduces managerial competency as the set of related knowledge, ability, skills, and other characteristics. Other research results show that the concept of managerial competency that includes knowledge and skills, along with other characteristics, such as attitude, behaviors, work habits, abilities, and personality traits, is more widely supported. Research Method: The present study was conducted to explain the psychological competencies of the school principal and determine the causal relationships between them by combining the Delphi and Dematel fuzzy methods. The present research is an applied study in terms of objective and nature, since its results can be directly used by the education system to identify, evaluate and select competent individuals for the role of school principal, and since there is little knowledge about the phenomenon under study, i. e. management competencies in the education system. The goal is to collect data as they are, and the quantitative part of the study makes it a descriptive research in terms of data collection. The qualitative part of the study is based on the grounded theory method and provides the foundation of knowledge required for modeling. Since the initial data are collected and thematized through interviews, and the FD questionnaire is developed and implemented according to these themes, the present research is considered a mixed study (quantitative and qualitative). Since the interviews were initially held to develop a competency measurement tool (questionnaire), and supplementary data are only then collected using the questionnaire, the study is considered exploratory in design. A competency model should be consistent with the philosophical principles governing the society, the national and organizational culture and the strategic objectives of the school, and provide the bases for its key functions, processes and activities. The review of literature and the assessment of various theories showed Boyatzis’ theory (2008) as the most suitable for classifying school principals’ competencies. First, according to the research literature, the main criteria were extracted and the pre-model was developed. To determine the sub-criteria and modify the pre-model, a sample of 25 experts from universities across the country were selected by the Network Sampling method, semi-structured interviews were conducted, and 26 sub-criteria were determined. For secondary screening and the implementation of the sub-criteria, a questionnaire with Likert scale was prepared. A sample of 150 school principals was selected based on the targeted sampling method and the questionnaire was provided to them. The results of the questionnaire, using the Delphi technique and fuzzy approach, were analyzed and a hierarchical structure related to the psychological competency criteria including 10 sub-criteria was developed. Finally, eight experts from the university were be asked to use the Fuzzy Dematel Questionnaire and the causal relationships between the sub criteria of psychological competence were determined. Findings: The research data were analyzed in MAXQDA, SPSS, EXCEL and AMOS. By studying the literature a number of subsidiary criteria for each major criterion were extracted, with regards to transparency in the subsidiary criteria of competency, the ability to measure and assess, the ability to transform into behavioral indices, the non-overlapping between the sub-criteria and the attention to the cultural. The results showed that variables of accountability, critique, self-control, decision-making skills, self-esteem and flexibility, are causality and job satisfaction, creative thinking, positive thinking, and systemic thinking are effect Variables. Managers often overlook these competencies, perhaps due to the false belief that personal skills are inherent and cannot be changed. Some of these skills are inherent, but most can be changed and learnt. Psychological competency accompany people in both their work life and private life and act as a steppingstone for the emergence and development and considerable improvement of other competencies. This study presented a smart yet simple model based on human thoughts. Within the framework of a reliable theory of managerial competency and using an acceptable and scientific approach with the fuzzy logic, the present study provided a new method of presenting criteria for the selection of a competent manager. This model was also designed according to the theoretical principles of management science and the views of academic experts as well as the experiences of education experts to fill the gap between the experience and the science of education management. Each academic research faces barriers and limitations, and the current research is no exception. Fuzzy logic is a method that is not created for more than a few decades. The birth and formation of this method was in the industry and its penetration in human science studies has occurred with a delay. The lack of consensus and the agreement of professionals and experts in fuzzy logic in some fields and the lack of impressive number of researches carried out in this way in educational sciences has been one of the most important limitations of this research. It is possible to add the unfamiliarity of the subjects to the questionnaires used in this method.

Abstract:

In this paper, the crosstalk in 32 nm UTB SOI MOSFET is examined by using a new structure, a high resistivity substrate, and a multilayer BOX (SiO2-Diamond). The electrical and thermal characteristics of the conventional SOI and a multilayer BOX SOI are compared, and it is concluded that parasitic capacitances and crosstalk are improved by incorporating multilayer BOX to a HR Substrate. In a conventional HR FD SOI, crosstalk is approximately -121dB, while by incorporating multilayer BOX substrate and increasing the thickness of the Diamond to 100nm, crosstalk can be reduced by 20%.

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to study the relation between Field Dependence and Inedependece styles, cognitive and metacognitive strategies and educational performance of Payame Noor University humanity students. The statistical population included 122 female psychology and educational sciencees students of Tabriz Payame Noor University who selected randomly as a sample via monostage sampling and were asked by Group Embeded Figures test (GEFT) to examine Field Dependence and Independence styles, and also Learning Strategies Questionnaire (LSQ) was used to examine Cognitive and Metacognitive strategies, Multiple regression statistical analysis and Pierson correlation test were used to analize data. The results showed that metacognitive strategy of knowledge and self regulation (warranty, attitude and attention) are the best predictable factors of educational performance whereas some factors including FD/I styles, subjective survey strategies' semantic expansion, organize, evaluation, planning and supervision cannot progress the predictive power meaningfully. All these variables had a high overlap and relation except FD/I styles, knowledge metacognitive and self regulation. There was a negative correlation between FD/I styles with all cognitive and metacognitive strategy variables except organizing metacongnitive strategy. The educational performance had a positive relation with all variables. The relation of educational performance with cognitive and metacognitive strategies was meaningful but not with FD/I styles. Cognitive and Metacognitive variables also had a high and meaningful correlation. In this article educational application and suggestions are being studied in addition to results and findings.

Phenomena’ s which are the aim of the research in the neo-tectonic filed including the all factors, process and functions that are based on the earth new activates and created geomorphic by this activities. Evaluation of neo-tectonic activities based on tectonics indicators on Ali-Abad cay Horand watershed is the topic of this discussion in this research. The recognizing and proofing of neo-tectonic activities and represent the proportion of neo-tectonic activities in different part of watershed was the aim of this study. The method was that at the firstneo-tectonic activities in the watershed distinguishaccording the on the four types tectonic indicators include (FD, SL, BR) and averaged of all indicators. Then we proofed neo-tectonic activities in this watershed and based on the indicators final finding was existence of neo-tectonic activities in the watershed, for these reasons, we used the different data for example: topography and geology maps 1: 50000 & 1: 100000, satellite images an Slop-Fault-Hydrology-DEM-Tin maps, Arc-GIS software. Results showed that watershed neo-tectonic activities based on LAT indicators includes: 50% active-30% semi-active basin and 20% was inactive that all of neo-tectonic activities observed along major fault in the sense of geographic information system (GIS), revealed that the neo-tectonic activities of Ali abad cay watershed active along three major fault and most minor faults and also watershed hydrology system compliance whit fault. We can conclude that authorities and planners should consider these geomorphologic evidence and phenomena in local and regional planning.

Abstract:

The main aim of the current paper is to propose an upwind local radial basis functions-finite difference (RBF-FD) method for solving compressible Euler equation. The mathematical formulation of chemically reacting, inviscid, unsteady flows with species conservation equations and finite-rate chemistry is studied. The presented technique is based on the developed idea in [58]. For checking the ability of the new procedure, the compressible Euler equation is solved. This equation has been classified in category of system of advection-diffusion equations. The solutions of advection equations have some shock, thus, special numerical methods should be applied for example discontinuous Galerkin and finite volume methods. Moreover, two problems are given that show the acceptable accuracy and efficiency of the proposed scheme.

Abstract:

In recent years, the use of Public-Private-Partnerships (3P) approach to the implementation of infrastructure projects has received much attention. Risk identification and analysis in these projects has always been one of the main challenges of this approach. The purpose of this paper is to determine the different levels of risk in 3P water and wastewater projects in Iran using library studies and field surveys. Using a threephase protocol and developing an integrated method of risk analysis, while identifying and separating risks, different levels of risk in these projects were evaluated. In the first phase, 49 risk factors were identified and divided into 6 main groups including technical(R1), economic(R2), political(R3), legal(R4), environmental(R5) and managerial (R6) risks. In the second phase, in order to extract more critical risks, the risks were analyzed and screened by combining Fuzzy Delphi (FD) techniques and Failure Mode Analysis and Effects (FMEA) using the opinions of experts. Based on the results, 23 sub-risk factors with RPNNormalized values greater than 0. 5 were identified as critical risks. In the third phase, different levels of total risks (ORL) were determined by Fuzzy synthetic evaluation (FSE) method in combination with FMEA method. Based on the results of risk groups R2, R1, R3, R4, R6 and R5 with ORL of 7. 468, 7. 262, 7. 132, 6. 992, 6. 815 and 6. 670, respectively, as the most critical risk groups in 3P water projects. And sewage were identified. Risks of allocating financial resources and investor obligations (R2-6), lack of transparency in executive issues and changes in project specifications(R1-1), problems of the government system process in concluding the contract(R3-5), prolongation of licenses and their renewal( R4-6), integrated management, control and utilization of water resources(R6-8) and climate change and rainfall pattern(R5-2) in each of the above groups were identified as the most important critical risk factor. Finally, the ORL value of 3P water and sewage projects in the country was set at 7. 077, which indicates the high level of total risk of these projects.
