The detailed exploration of Golgohar reserve III has been concluded and based on the 15 year plan; extraction would be by the open pit mining method and would continue to the 280 meters down the surface. Due to the starting the overburden removal operation, the restudy importance of the final pit slope stability has been more taken into accounts. By the equilibrium limit method and the use of Geoslope Office software, the stability of the slope in overburden was analyzed. The results showed that the stability is very sensitive to the existence of water and by the drainage of water; the instability problem will be reduced. At the rock part of slope, the fractures were first studied and the results showed the probability of some wedge and toppling failures. Finally the whole slope was modeled with the FLAC software. The results indicated that if input data were accurate, the slope would be stable.
