Background: Organophosphate compound (OPC) poisoning with suicidal intent is common in Indian ICUs. These compounds are the organic derivatives of phosphorous containing acids and their effect on neuromuscular junction and autonomic synapses is clinically important. Organophosphate poisoning can present as acute cholinergic syndrome, INTERMEDIATE syndrome and delayed neuropathy. Case Presentation: INTERMEDIATE syndrome secondary to organophosphate poisoning is a serious health problem leading to increased morbidity and mortality. The incidence of problem varies and ranges from 8%-84% of OPC poisoning cases. After initial recovery from cholinergic crisis, some patients have resurgence of respiratory muscle paralysis requiring continued ventilatory support. This is termed INTERMEDIATE syndrome (IMS). The factors accounting for this difference is the nature of organophosphate compound, severity of poisoning and inadequate oxime therapy. The recognition of this syndrome is important as if this entity is overlooked it can have disastrous effects. Discussion: Our patient had developed respiratory muscle weakness as evidenced by inadequate respiratory efforts, drop in oxygen saturation, retention of CO2 and need for ventilatory support. There was no evidence of weakness in ocular, neck, bulbar muscles but he had weakness in all 4 limbs more pronounced in proximal muscles. Conclusion: We presented this case of OPC poisoning with INTERMEDIATE syndrome, which remained for a prolonged time and required mechanical ventilation for 16 days. This case highlights how the timely intervention can save the patient’ s life.

The NAVSTAR Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation and positioning system which includes a constellation of 32 satellites, remote control stations and its receivers and can be used for determination the geographical positions of its users. GPS signal simulator needs for test and verification of GPS receiver' s performances in special applications at the Laboratory. For this mission we should simulate the various static and dynamic scenarios for GPS receiver tracks and generate GPS signals for all the satellites. For GPS signals, generation of all its elements like the Navigation messages, C/A codes, frame and subframe structures should be defined and used in this project.

The databases Medline, Embase, Scopus and Google Scholar were searched using the terms INTERMEDIATE syndrome, organophosphate induces INTERMEDIATE syndrome and organophosphate poisoning. Databases were merged and a duplicate was removed. Even with the development of new technologies that allow for higher quality teacher-generated materials, demand for textbooks continues to grow, and the publishing industry responds with new series and textbooks each year. Therefore, it is absolutely essential to establish and employ a certain number of relevant and contextually appropriate criteria for the evaluation of the textbooks that are used in our language classrooms. In order to evaluate ELT textbooks, theorists and writers have offered different kinds of evaluative frameworks based on a number of principles and criteria. The purpose of this study was to evaluate a series of ELT textbook, namely INTERMEDIATE Top Notch based on Littlejohn's (1998) evaluative framework, in order to determine the strengths, weaknesses, and explicit features of the books and to see whether the books are in line with the CLT principles and the objectives set for them. Six ELT teachers helped the researcher rate the evaluative checklists. The results of the study showed that although a number of shortcomings were found in Top Notch, it stood up reasonably well to a detailed and in-depth analysis and that its positive attributes far out-weighed its shortcomings.

One of these famous techniques is Malmquisr Productivity Index (MPI). Here MPI is developed and used for series structural DMUs, with two components, in which INTERMEDIATE inputs and outputs exist.
