The methods by which we can prevent the Prosthesis related periimplantitis and the signs and symptoms of disease is very important in long term survival of dental implants Results. The rate of Prosthesis related periimplantitis is high, and the supposed role of it in implant failures is obvious. Conclusions. As the most important factor in long term failure of implants, Prosthesis is of great importance, so the process and the guidelines should be carefully followed.

The distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) prostheses have been available for many years and despite their superior outcomes compared to conventional DRUJ reconstructions in both short and long-term follow-ups, they have not become as popular as common hip and knee prostheses. In the current review article, at the first step, we discussed the applied anatomy and biomechanics of the DRUJ, and secondly, we classified DRUJ prostheses according to available literature, and reviewed different types of prostheses with their outcomes. Finally we proposed simple guidelines to help the surgeon to choose the appropriate DRUJ Prosthesis.

In this paper, an entirely novel, theoretical restoration/conservation tool will be described. This tool will take the form of self-sustaining ‘synthetic vegetation’ designed, through the use of solar energy, to generate Oxygen through the electrolysis of water and sequester CO2 in a disposable form through the formation of Carbonic acid amongst other things; in short simulate many of the major functions of living vegetation. The environmental role of synthetic vegetation as a terrestrial ecosystem ‘Prosthesis’ is evaluated with a Carbon acquisition calculation and a cost benefit analysis reviewing the benefits of utilization in the context of material costs. It is proposed that synthetic vegetation could greatly aid in conservation by regenerating degraded environments and speeding up the process of restoration.

Rapid prototyping (RP) is a technique of manufacturing parts by the additive layer manufacturing technology, where, a three-dimensional (3D) model created in a computer aided design (CAD) system is sectioned into 2D profiles, which are further constructed by RP layer by layer. Its use is not limited to industrial or engineering fields and has extended to the medical field for the manufacturing of custom implants and prostheses, the study of anatomy and surgical planning. Nowadays, dentists are more frequently encountered with the individuals affected with craniofacial defects due to trauma. In such cases, the cranio-maxillofacial rehabilitation is a real challenge to bring the patients back to society and promote their well-being. The conventional impression technique for facial Prosthesis fabrication has the disadvantage of deforming the soft tissue and causing discomfort for the patient. Herein, we describe the fabrication of a cranial Prosthesis combined with an ocular Prosthesis with RP and stereolithography.
