چکیده: 

IN THIS PAPER, A NOVEL METHOD IS DEVELOPED FOR DESIGNING THE OUTPUT FEED BACK CONTROLLER FOR STATIC SYNCHRONOUS SERIES COMPENSATOR (SSSC). IN THE PROPOSED METHOD, THE PROBLEM OF SELECTING THE OUTPUT FEEDBACK GAINS FOR THE SSSC CONTROLLERS IS CHANGED INTO AN OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM WITH A TIME DOMAIN-BASED OBJECTIVE FUNCTION THEN, IT IS SOLVED BY USING THE PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION (PSO) ALGORITHM. ONLY LOCAL AND AVAILABLE STATE VARIABLES ARE USED AS THE INPUT SIGNALS OF EACH CONTROLLER FOR THE DECENTRALIZED DESIGN. THEREFORE, THE DESIGNED SSSC CONTROLLER HAS A SIMPLE AND EASY-TO-IMPLEMENT STRUCTURE. A WIDE RANGE OF OPERATING CONDITIONS AND SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS ARE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN THE DESIGN PROCESS IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PROPOSED STABILIZERS ARE ROBUST. THROUGH NONLINEAR TIME-DOMAIN SIMULATION STUDIES AND EIGENVALUE ANALYSIS, IT IS SHOWN THAT THE PROPOSED CONTROLLER IS VERY EFFECTIVE IN DAMPING LOW FREQUENCY OSCILLATIONS. ANALYZING THE RESULTS REVEALS THAT THE DESIGNED PSO-BASED OUTPUT FEEDBACK SSSC DAMPING CONTROLLER HAS A STRONG ABILITY IN DAMPING POWER SYSTEM LOW FREQUENCY OSCILLATIONS. IT ALSO GREATLY ENHANCES THE DYNAMIC STABILITY OF THE POWER SYSTEMS. FURTHERMORE, ANALYZING SYSTEM PERFORMANCE UNDER DIFFERENT OPERATING CONDITIONS SHOWS THAT THE Y BASED CONTROLLER IS SUPERIOR TO THE M BASED CONTROLLERS.

چکیده: 

در این مقاله به مسئلۀ بهبود پایداری سیستم قدرت دارای DFIG[i] و در حضور [ii]SSSC به روش غیرخطی پرداخته شده است. کنترل کنندۀ طراحی شده از نوع پسگام چندورودی[iii] به همراه رویتگر مد لغزشی[iv] است. این کنترل کننده به طور هم زمان روی سیستم تحریک ژنراتورهای سنکرون و مبدل سمت رتور در DFIG وSSSC به نحوی اعمال می شود که پایداری سیستم قدرت را در مقایسه با روش های خطی و غیرخطی بیان شده در این مقاله بهبود بخشد. ماتریس های ضرایب کنترل کننده با به کارگیری الگوریتم های هوشمند به نحوی تنظیم می شود که سیستم به نحو مطلوب پایدار شود. در انتخاب ورودی های کنترلی، محدودیت های عملی روی سیستم در نظر گرفته شده است. کنترل کنندۀ طراحی شده نسبت به تغییر نقطه کار و محل اختلال مقاوم است. کارآیی کنترل کنندۀ طراحی شده در یک شبکه 39 باسه، 10 ماشینه استاندارد NEW ENGELAND شامل DFIG و در حضور SSSC با استفاده از نرم افزار متلب، شبیه سازی و بررسی شدند. [i] Doubly Fed Induction Generator[ii] Static Series Synchronous Compensator[iii] Multi Input Back stepping control[iv] Sliding Mode Observer

In this paper, the modified linearized Phillips-Heffron model is utilized to theoretically analyze a single-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) installed with SSSC. Then, the results of this analysis are used for assessing the potential of an SSSC supplementary controller to improve the dynamic stability of a power system. This is carried out by measuring the electromechanical controllability through singular value decomposition (SVD) analysis. This controller is tuned for simultaneously shifting the undamped electromechanical modes to a prespecifed area in the s-plane. The issue of designing a robustly SSSC- based controller is considered and formulated as an optimization problem according to the eigenvalue-based multi-objective function consisting of the damping ratio of the undamped electromechanical modes and the damping factor. Next, considering its high capability to find the most optimistic results, the Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) is used to solve this optimization problem. Wide ranges of operating conditions are considered in design process of the proposed damping controller in order to guarantee its robustness. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is demonstrated through eigenvalue analysis, controllability measure, nonlinear time-domain simulation and some performance indices studies. The results show that the tuned GSA based SSSC controller which is designed by using the proposed multi-objective function has an outstanding capability in damping power system low frequency oscillations, also it significantly improves the power systems dynamic stability.

This paper objective presents static synchronous series compensation FACTS device with biogeography based optimization (BBO) to deal for obtaining worthwhile power flow control. The biogeography based optimization method is utilized to find the optimal fitted child sets by surviving parents with the help of migration and mutation Jaipur process. The present BBO technique from the evolutionary strategy with static synchronous series compensator provides improved outcomes in comparison to other optimization methods. The simulation outcomes illustrate that the proposed BBO algorithm is efficacious, secure and correct to search the optimized values with SSSC based FACTS devices. The proposed method is considering the solution quality an optimistic substitute method for extricating the OPF problems. The simplification and effectiveness of this method are validated on the IEEE 57 bus and 75 bus Systems. In this paper, from the outcome results, it is clearly shown that the proposed technique execution can be properly and effectively applied to the optimal position of multiple OPF problems. i.e. BBO based algorithm with SSSC FACTS device is found better results when compared to without SSSC device in all aspects.

ONLY LOCAL AND AVAILABLE STATE VARIABLES ARE USED AS THE INPUT SIGNALS OF EACH CONTROLLER FOR THE DECENTRALIZED DESIGN. THEREFORE, THE DESIGNED SSSC CONTROLLER HAS A SIMPLE AND EASY-TO-IMPLEMENT STRUCTURE. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PROPOSED CONTROLLERS IS EVALUATED FOR BOTH SINGLE-MACHINE INFINITE-BUS (SMIB) POWER SYSTEM AND MULTI MACHINE POWER SYSTEM. THEN, TO SHOW THE ROBUSTNESS AND EFFECTIVENESS OF PROPOSED DESIGN APPROACH, THE RESULTS ARE PRESENTED OVER A WIDE VARIETY OF SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS, LOADING CONDITIONS, AND DISTURBANCES. ANALYZING THE RESULTS REVEALS THAT THE DESIGNED HBMO-BASED OUTPUT FEEDBACK SSSC DAMPING CONTROLLER HAS A STRONG ABILITY IN DAMPING POWER SYSTEM OSCILLATIONS. FURTHERMORE, ANALYZING SYSTEM PERFORMANCE UNDER DIFFERENT OPERATING CONDITIONS SHOWS THAT THE Y -BASED CONTROLLER IS SUPERIOR TO THE M -BASED CONTROLLERS.

هزینه های بالای تجهیزات FACTS امروزی باعث شده تا بهره برداران به مسائلی همچون حفاظت و استفاده بهینه از آنها توجه جدی نشان دهند. تمرکز این مقاله در همین راستا و بر تجهیز SSSC متمرکز شده است. در این تمرکز ضمن بررسی میزان تاثیر SSSC بر جریان اتصال کوتاه، تکنیکی مبتنی بر کنترل ناپیوسته تجهیز جهت کنترل گذرای آن در شرایط اتصال کوتاه به منظور محدود سازی جریان خطا در خط محلی آن ارائه شده است. نهایتا به منظور ارزیابی میزان شایستگی تکنیک پیشنهادی، مطالعات شبیه سازی کامپیوتر از طریق انتخاب یک سیستم تست نمونه (14 باسه IEEE) در محیط نرم افزار دیگسایلنت دنبال و نتایج حاصل از آن تجزیه و تحلیل شدند. بالاخره آنالیز نتایج نشان داد که تکنیک فوق از درجه شایستگی بالایی برخوردار است.
