Abstract: 

In this study, biomarker analyses were conducted on four condensate samples recovered from Kafr El Sheikh and Abu Madi Reservoirs in Abu Qir concession, NW offshore Nile Delta. Moreover, according to the obtained results, it was indicated that the condensates are genetically related, and they were derived mainly from clay-rich source rocks of mixed organic sources, with significant input of terrestrial organic sources, deposited in low saline fluvio-deltaic environment. These conclusions are supported by the relative abundance of both C29 and C27 regular steranes, high diasteranes, and Pr /Ph ratios and the lowC29norhopane relative to C30hopane, low isoprenoids/n-alkanes ratios and lack of gammacerane. In addition, biomarker maturity indicators suggested that the condensates were sourced from early mature source rocks. Finally, geochemical and isotopic data from gases indicated that Abu Qir gases are of thermogenic origin generated from source rocks with mixed types II/III kerogens.

Abstract: 

characterization in creating stories is so prominent that Aristotle, the Greek philosopher, recognized it as the second most important component of stories. Characters of stories are generally considered in two schemes; the direct scheme and the indirect one. In the direct characterization – whether as all-knowing or as characters of the story-characters are introduced. In the indirect characterization, speech, appearance, environment, thoughts and characters’ behavior lead to their recognition. Speech characterization is a component of indirect characterization. This article is a comparative study of speech characterization in the movie “ My Fair Lady” and its dubbed version in Persian. “ My Fair Lady” was made by George Cukor based on the screenplay “ Pygmalion” by George Bernard Shaw in 1964 which has been dubbed into different languages such as Persian. Ali Kasmaei was the manager for dubbing My Fair Lady into Persian and many people consider it as a masterpiece in the history of dubbing films in Iran. Since the characters’ language has a key role in the aforementioned works, a comparative study of My Fair Lady and its dubbed version leads to recognizing speech characterization components and their recreation in dubbing films.

Abstract: 

In this article, based on Gumperz’s (1982) view of prosodies as contextualization tools, we study tone of voice in characterization. First dialogues of an actor (Javad Ezzati) are chosen from Iranian films and series, playing both positive and negative roles. Then the dialogues are transcribed in North American Phonetic Alphabet and are studied based on Jeffersonian conversational analysis symbols to categorize different prosodic characteristics of the actor’s voice in different roles. It is assumed that prosodies are one of the most important tools available to the actors to reconstruct a particular character and enliven the character in order to pursue the narrative. In all, positive roles show low volume, low pitch, breathy quality and distinct pronunciation and negative roles show high pitch, high volume, balancing speed and pause to keep the turn and to represent higher status.

Abstract: 

The novels of Genname by Houshang Golshiri and Temptation by Grazia Deledda two important works with fictional and dramatic features that among these features, the characterization element is more prominent. The comparative analysis of these two works from the perspective of techniques and dimensions of dramatic characterization suggests the importance of paying attention to the dramatic elements in shaping the fictional texts of Iranian and Italian nationalities, which necessitates attention to this issue in revising these fictional texts, it is felt more and more. The direct pointing on the features of appearance, speech and behavior, and the various dimensions of the characters has made them believable and visualizable for the audience. In these two works, the characters introduce themselves to audience by demonstrating different acts and behaviors in storytelling conflicts, communicating with other characters, and actions and stances on various issues. The two writers create dramatic characters in their own work. In this study, using a descriptiveanalytical method based on library studies, and based on the American comparative literature school, we examined the components of dramatic characterization in the two novels, Genname and Temptation, and We have shown how Golshiri and Deledda have been able to give to their own work the characteristics of the dramatic characters of dramatic texts using dramatic highlighting techniques.

تولید آنتی بادی منوکلونال بر علیه اسپرماتوزوآ، روشی معمول جهت شناسایی پروتئین های اسپرم می باشد. در این مطالعه، در راستای این هدف لیز سلولی از بیضه موش Balb/c با ادجوانت، مخلوط و بصورت داخل صفاقی بر موش نر از همان Strain تزریق شد. جهت تعیین تیتر آنتی بادی سرم موش و غربالگری سوپرناتانت سلول های هیبریدوما، از آزمون الایزا استفاده شد. سلول های طحال موش ایمن شده با سلول های میلومای موش SP2/0 ادغام شد. از فیوژن سلول ها دو کلون تک سلولی هیبریدوما با شرایط مناسب ایجاد شد که به نام های 3G10 و 3C8 موسوم شدند. ایزوتایپ آنتی بادی های منوکلونال تولید شده توسط کلون های 3G10 و IgG2b 3C8 تعیین شد. سلول های هیبریدوما به تعداد زیاد جهت تولید آنتی بادی کشت داده شد و سوپرناتانت سلول ها از ستون پروتئین G عبور داده و تخلیص شد. در مرحله بعدی characterization، پروتئین های هدف این آنتی بادی ها در نظر است.

Abstract: 

BACKGROUNDS: Gyrodactylus is a small monogenean ectoparasite that lives on the skin and fins of most of the world's fish species. Gyrodactylus appears to be one of the most prevalent parasites found in ornamental fish, especially in Cyprinids.Goldfish (Carassius auratus) are a popular ornamental fish that are highly contaminated by Gyrodcatylus.OBJECTIVES: The present study is aimed to identify morphological and molecular characteristics of the Gyrodactylus parasite on gold fish.METHODS: The morphological identification of Gyrodactylus specimens was performed using the measurements and drawings of opisthaptoral hard parts of the parasites. The molecular species description was based on a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of partial sequence of the 5.8S region of ribosomal RNA, and a partial sequence of the internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) of ribosomal RNA. The nucleotide sequences of the PCR products were compared with corresponding sequencing registered in Gen Bank.RESULTS: Based on the morphometric analysis and sequencing, the Gyrodactylus specimens were described as Gyrodactylus gurleyi.CONCLUSIONS: A combination of molecular techniques with morphological analysis seems to be the best approach for the identification of Gyrodactylus speices.
