Abstract: 

IN THIS PAPER WE PRESENT A SURVEY ON MOBILE CLOUD COMPUTING IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS. AFTER REFERRING TO PREVIOUS WORK AND RESEARCHES ABOUT WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS AND MOBILE CLOUD COMPUTING, COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS AND CHALLENGES, REFERENCE AND DATA MANAGEMENT IN THIS NETWORKS IS STUDIED, THEN WITH COMBINATION OF THE ABILITY TO COLLECT INFORMATION IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS AND THE ABILITY TO DATA STORAGE AND DATA PROCESSING IN MOBILE CLOUD COMPUTING, WE PRESENT A NEW METHOD THAT MAKES THE TRANSMISSION OF SENSORS' DATA EASY BY A RELIABLE, FAST AND SAFE WAY. IN THIS METHOD THE SENSOR WIRELESS NETWORK REQUIRES LESS STORAGE SPACE FOR SENSOR NODES. IN ADDITION USING THE EDDEEC ROUTING PROTOCOL, ENERGY CONSUMPTION IS OPTIMIZED IN THE SENSOR NODES COMMUNICATION WITH EACH OTHER AND IN PRESENCE MOBILE CLOUD, THE REQUIRED ENERGY CONSUMPTION FOR DATA TRANSMISSION IN A COMMUNICATION FIELD DECREASES AND A BETTER BANDWIDTH AND HIGHER STORAGE AND PROCESSING POWER IS PROVIDED FOR THESE NETWORKS.

Abstract: 

HEAT TRANSFER IN ANTICIPATION OF THE HEAT TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO OBJECTS BECAUSE OF THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE ARISES DEALS. NANO FLUIDS ARE A CLASS OF HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS WHICH ARE CREATED BY DISPERSING SOLID NANOPARTICLES IN TRADITIONAL HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS. THIS WORK DESCRIBE AN EMPIRICAL DESIGN AND A NUMERICAL METHOD TO ILLUSTRATE THE FORCED CONVECTIVE HEAT TRANSFER USING TRADITIONAL FLUID AND ZINC OXIDE/WATER NANO FLUID IN DOUBLE-PIPE HEAT EXCHANGER UTILIZING COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE EQUIPMENT. THE TEST RESULTS ARE SHOWN THAT THE HEAT TRANSFER RATE AND HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS OF THE NANO FLUID IS HIGHER THAN THAT OF THE BASE LIQUID (I.E., WATER). INCREASING IN THE OVERALL HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IS MORE FORCIBLE AT HIGH COLD FLOW RATE FOR A GIVEN HOT FLUID FLOW RATE. THE HEAT TRANSFER RATE AND HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS, FINALLY INCREASE WITH INCREASE IN MASS FLOW RATES OF HOT AND COLD STREAMS.

IN THIS ARTICLE, TIPS ARE PROPOSED FOR BETTER IMPLEMENTATION OF ANT COLONY ALGORITHM. IT SEEMS THAT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ALGORITHM WILL BE IMPROVED BY OBSERVING THE STEPS MENTIONED IN THE ARTICLE OF SPEED AND TIME.OF COURSE, JUDGMENT AND GENERAL COMPARISON OF THE BEHAVIOR OF THE ALGORITHM AND THE STEPS MENTIONED IN THIS ARTICLE DEPEND ON BETTER RUNNING ON A VARIETY OF NETWORK.

Abstract: 

FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF PLANT AVAILABILITY, CONDENSER PERFORMANCE IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. IT IS EVEN MORE CRUCIAL IN CASES OF AGED NPPS. CONDENSER PERFORMANCE PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT SAFETY. FOR THE ANALYSIS OF A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO HAVE A RELIABLE THERMAL-HYDRAULIC MODEL OF CONDENSER. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY IS TO CONDUCT A THERMAL-HYDRAULIC ANALYSIS OF A BUSHEHR VVER-1000 REACTOR CONDENSER. THIS PAPER PROVIDES A SEMI TWO DIMENSIONAL THERMAL-HYDRAULIC MODEL OF THE CONDENSER USING THE RELAP5 CODE. TWO MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE PRESENT MODEL ARE THE APPLICATION OF A VALID NODALIZATION METHOD AND A CONSIDERATION OF THE CROSS-FLOW EFFECTS. THE OBTAINED RESULTS FROM THE RELAP5 STEADY STATE ANALYSIS WERE IN REASONABLE AGREEMENT WITH THE BUSHEHR NPP FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORTS (FSAR).

IN ORDER TO CREATE AN INTEGRATED SIMULATION MODEL, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO HAVE A FLUID CHARACTERIZATION BASED ON REVISION AND VALIDATION OF THE AVAILABLE LABORATORY DATA. THESE INCLUDE PVT STUDIES, PRODUCTION DATA, RFT LOGS, ETC. IN CASE OF EOR PROCESS MODELING, IT IS NECESSARY TO ALSO CONSIDER THE SPECIAL FLUID TESTS (SWELLING TEST AND DISPLACEMENT MEASURES ON CORES) WHICH PERMIT THE EVALUATION OF THE INJECTED GAS EFFECT ON THE ORIGINAL FLUID PROPERTIES IN THE RESERVOIR, PARTICULARLY AT THE SATURATION PRESSURE.THE THERMODYNAMIC STUDY BASED ON THE AVAILABLE EXPERIMENTAL PVT DATA, TAKEN FROM THREE APPRAISAL WELLS OF A CARBONATE OIL FIELD IS PRESENTED. THE FLUID SYSTEM FLOWING THROUGHOUT TWO RESERVOIR LEVELS IS CHARACTERIZED BY MEANS OF EQUATIONS OF STATE FINALISED TO A FULL 3D GAS INJECTION RESERVOIR STUDY. THE OBJECTIVE IS OPTIMIZING THE FIELD PRODUCTION STRATEGIES CONSIDERING THE INJECTION OF NATURAL GAS.OVERVIEW OF ALL THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA SHOWS A GOOD AGREEMENT AMONG THE TESTS PERFORMED ON SAMPLES BELONGING TO THE SAME LEVEL. IN THIS STUDY TWO EQUATIONS OF STATE (THREE PARAMETERS PENG-ROBINSON EQUATION) HAVE BEEN CALIBRATED FOR THE TWO LEVELS. THE SIMULATED PVT PARAMETERS BY THE TUNED EOS FOR THE TWO FLUIDS SAMPLES ARE IN GOOD AGREEMENT WITH THE ALREADY MEASURED EXPERIMENTAL DATA. IN ADDITION, THE SWELLING TEST SIMULATION SHOWS A FAIR MATCH WITHIN LIMITS OF CUBIC EOS.THE SLIM TUBE EXPERIMENTS PERFORMED BY OILPHASE LABORATORY TO STATE THE MISCIBILITY /IMMISCIBILITY CONDITION OF THE RESERVOIR OIL WITH RESPECT TO THE GAS EXTRACTED AT THE SEPARATORS ARE ALSO SIMULATED. CONSEQUENTLY THE SENSITIVITY OF THE MISCIBILITY CONDITIONS TO POSSIBLE VARIATIONS OF THE COMPOSITION OF THE INJECTED GAS IS INVESTIGATED.

Abstract: 

TO UNDERSTAND FLUCTUATIONS OF GROUNDWATER RESOURCES IS VITAL IN THE PLANNING AND LONG TERM SUSTAINABLE WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT. WATER RESOURCES IN A GIVEN AREA VARY UPON ENORMOUS FACTORS AMONG WHICH CLIMATE IS MOST OUTSTANDING. CLIMATE IN TURN SERVES AS MAJOR INPUT FOR RAINFALL IN HYDROLOGIC CYCLE. THE PRESENT RESEARCH AIMS TO SHED LIGHT ON EFFECT OF SOME FACTORS AS PRECIPITATION AND SNOW COVERS AREA AND IT'S IMPACT ON GROUNDWATER TABLES IN TUYSERKAN PLAIN, HAMADAN PROVINCE. MODIS/AQUA SNOW COVER 8-DAY FROM 2000 TO 2012 BETWEEN NOVEMBERS TO MAY INTERVAL WAS CONSIDERED TO OBTAIN SNOW COVER AREA. THE EFFECT OF PRECIPITATION AND SNOW COVER ON GROUNDWATER TABLE WAS ANALYZED SINCE 2000 TO 2012 AS PER NEURAL NETWORKS AND LINEAR REGRESSION. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT PRECIPITATION AND SNOW COVER EXHIBIT THEIR HIGHEST IMPACTS TWO AND THREE MONTHS LATER ON UNDERGROUND WATER TABLE, AMONG WHICH, LATER IMPOSE GREATER IMPACTS ON WATER TABLE. AT THE SAME TIME, INTERACTION OF FOREGOING FACTORS IS TRIFLE ON GROUNDWATER TABLE AND PRECIPITATION AND SNOW CANNOT COMPENSATE OVERUTILIZATION OF GROUNDWATER IN THE STUDY AREA.

Abstract: 

GOLD NANOPARTICLES HAVE BEEN APPLIED MUCH MORE EXTENSIVELY IN RADIOTHERAPY. THIS STUDY USED MAGIC-F POLYMER GEL WITH GOLD NANOPARTICLES IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE DOSE-RESPONSE OF THE SPEED OF THE SOUND. THE MAGIC-F POLYMER GEL WITH AND WITHOUT NANOPARTICLES WERE PLACED UNDER THE MEGAVOLTAGE IRRADIATION OF COBALT-60 WITH THE DOSES OF 0-60GY WITH THE STEP OF 6GY. AFTERWARDS, THE SPEED OF THE SOUND WAS ASSESSED USING AN ULTRASONIC TRANSMISSION DEVICE AND THE R2 PARAMETER WAS ASSESSED USING MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI) AT 25OC AND 24H AFTER IRRADIATION. THE HIGHEST SENSITIVITY OF ULTRASOUND AND MRI PARAMETERS WAS OBTAINED IN THE RANGE OF 6-42GY, AND GEL SATURATION OCCURRED ABOVE 48GY. ADDITIONALLY, IN THE LINEAR RANGE OF 6-42GY, THE SPEED OF THE SOUND AND R2 PARAMETERS IN MAGIC-F POLYMER GEL WAS MORE WITH GOLD NANOPARTICLES THAN WITHOUT THEM. THE PRESENCE OF GOLD NANOPARTICLES INCREASES THE ABSORBED DOSE. THE PRESENCE OF GOLD NANOPARTICLES INCREASES THE ABSORBED DOSE AND THE SPEED OF THE SOUND CAN BE USE FOR DOSE - RESPONSE CURVE EXTRACTION.

THE PHENOMENON OF HOW TESTS INFLUENCE TEACHING AND LEARNING IS COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS "WASHBACK" IN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION. LITERATURE INDICATES THAT TESTING WASHBACK IS A COMPLEX CONCEPT THAT BECOMES EVEN MORE COMPLEX UNDER DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS OF THE WASHBACK PHENOMENON ON TEACHING AND LEARNING. BASED ON RECENT STUDIES, WASHBACK EFFECT CAN BE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE. IN THE PRESENT STUDY SOME DEFINITIONS OF WASHBACK AND ITS TWO MAJOR TYPES WERE INTRODUCED, AND ALSO THE EFFECT OF TEST ON TEACHERS AND LEARNERS WAS INDICATED. SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED IS THE VALIDITY OF THE TEST, WHICH INFLUENCES THE EFFECT THAT THE TEST HAS ON TEACHING OR LEARNING. HOWEVER SOMETIMES THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS WHICH DO NOT LET THE TEST HAVE ITS RIGHT EFFECT ON TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESSES. NOW IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW HOW TO PROMOTE WASHBACK. RECENTLY THE FIELD OF ESL/EFL HAS BEGUN TO RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF STUDENTS’ ROLE IN THE NATURE OF LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION. FOR TEACHERS TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE INSTRUCTION, IT IS NECESSARY TO BE AWARE OF THE ABILITIES OF THEIR STUDENTS, MAKE CORRECT DECISIONS ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO DURING THE COURSE OF INSTRUCTION, THE WAY OF PRESENTING THE MATERIALS AND ALSO TO EVALUATE THEMSELVES AND THEIR STUDENTS CORRECTLY IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN TEACHING. THIS STUDY FOCUSED ON THE INTRODUCTION OF LEARNERS’ BELIEFS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS, AND ALSO THE RELATIONSHIP THAT EXISTS BETWEEN STUDENTS’ LANGUAGE LEARNING BELIEFS AND THE WASHBACK EFFECT OF HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH EXAMINATIONS.IN CONCLUSION, A FRAMEWORK FOR MEASURING WASHBACK EFFECT REQUIRES A MORE COMPREHENSIVE MODEL. LANGUAGE TESTING IS NOT LIMITED TO CLASSROOMS, AND ITS CONSEQUENCES ARE NOT ONLY EDUCATIONAL, BUT ALSO SOCIAL AND POLITICAL. IT IS CLEAR THAT LANGUAGE TESTERS MUST ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL THOSE CONSEQUENCES WHICH THEY ARE AWARE OF.

IN THE PRESENT STUDY, MESOPOROUS HYDROXYAPATITE (HA) NANOPATICLES WAS SUCCESFULLY SYNTHESIZED VIA AQUEOUS CHEMICAL PRECIPITATION. SAMPLE WAS CHARACTERIZED WITH BET-BJH, XRD, FE-SEM. IT WAS FOUND THAT HA NANOPARTICLES WITH HEXAGONAL STRUCTURE CAN BE SYNTHESIZED AT LOW TEMPERATURES. X-RAY DIFFRACTION WAS APPROVED THIS. FE-SEM IMAGES OF HA NANOPARTICLES SHOWED SPHERICAL MORPHOLOGY WITH 40 NM IN DIAMETER. BET ANALYSIS APPROVED MESOPOROUS STRUCTURE.

Abstract: 

AN OESTROUS SYNCHRONIZATION STUDY WAS CONDUCTED ON 24 EWES, DURING THE ANOESTRUS SEASON. ONE DOSE OF ECG ADMINISTRATION 300 IU ECG (N=12) AND ONE DOSES OF 500 MG ROYAL JELLY IN COMBINATION WITH 300 IU ECG (RJ-ECG, N=12) WERE COMPARED REGARDING SYNCHRONIZATION EFFICIENCY (OESTROUS RESPONSE AND TIME TO ONSET OF OESTRUS) AND FERTILITY (PREGNANCY RATE, LAMBING RATE AND MULTIPLE BIRTH RATE). BEHAVIORAL ESTRUS WAS CHECKED USING FERTILE RAMS AT 6 H INTERVALS FOR 5 DAYS BEGINNING ON D 1. NON-RETURN RATES WERE MONITORED FROM 15 DAY AFTER SPONGE REMOVAL TO 20 DAY WITH THE AID OF TEASER RAMS. THERE WERE NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES IN TERMS OF OESTROUS RESPONSE DUE TO DIFFERENCES IN THE DOSE OF ECG AND RJ-ECG ADMINISTRATION. HOWEVER, INTERVALS TO ONSET OF ESTRUS WERE SHORTER (P<0.05) IN RJ-ECG TREATED (37.16 H) THAN 300 IU ECG (45.175 H) EWES. FIRST-CYCLE PREGNANCY WAS GREATER (P<0.05) IN RJ-ECG TREATED (81.81) THAN 300 IU ECG (50%) EWES, RESPECTIVELY. OTHER INDICATORS STUDIED WERE NOT DIFFERENT IN THE GROUPS RECEIVED 300 IU ECG AND RJ-ECG. RESULTS DEMONSTRATE THAT THE TREATMENTS OF RJ- ECG IN CONJUNCTION WITH SPONGE-MAP WERE MORE EFFECTIVE IN INDUCTION OF ESTRUS AND IMPROVEMENT OF FERTILITY.

TO THIS END, FROM THE POPULATION OF 84 IRANIAN EFL STUDENTS OF HIGHER INTERMEDIATE LEVELS, 4 GROUPS OF INDIRECT FEEDBACK (IF), DIRECT FEEDBACK (DF), INDIRECT FOLLOWED BY DIRECT WITH EXPLICIT CORRECTIVE COMMENTS (IDECC), AND NO FEEDBACK (NF) WERE SELECTED. Abstract: 

THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS TO EVALUATE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS IN WEST AZERBAIJAN PROVINCE. RESEARCH METHOD IS DESCRIPTIVE-CORRELATION CONDUCTED USING THE FIELD METHOD. STATISTICAL POPULATION INCLUDES PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS IN WEST AZERBAIJAN WHICH ARE 1091 PERSONS. THE SAMPLE NUMBER ACCORDING TO MORGAN TABLE IS CALCULATED AS 285 PERSONS. STRATIFIED RANDOM SAMPLING METHOD IS USED. DATA COLLECTION TOOL IS PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE QUESTIONNAIRE AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT QUESTIONNAIRE. THE PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE QUESTIONNAIRE BY NIEHOFF AND MOORMAN CONTAINS 22 CLOSE-END QUESTIONS. TO MEASURE ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT, MEYER AND ALLEN MODEL CONTAINING 24 QUESTIONS IS USED. RELIABILITY COEFFICIENT OF THE PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE AND WORK ETHICS QUESTIONNAIRES THROUGH CRONBACH'S ALPHA IS RESPECTIVELY, 0.834 AND 0.896. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DIMENSIONS OF ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE (INCLUDING DISTRIBUTIVE JUSTICE, PROCEDURAL JUSTICE, INTERACTIVE JUSTICE AND INTERPERSONAL JUSTICE) EXCEPT FOR DISTRIBUTIVE JUSTICE, AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AT LEVEL OF P≤0.05, BASED ON THE F COEFFICIENT RESPECTIVELY WITH PARTICIPATION RATES OF 20%, 15% AND 0.7%. AMONG THE DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES (GENDER, MARITAL STATUS, EMPLOYMENT HISTORY, EDUCATION LEVEL), THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION AFFECTED RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND THERE WAS NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ELEMENTS OF JUSTICE (DISTRIBUTIVE, PROCEDURAL AND INTERACTIVE AND INTERPERSONAL) IN TERMS OF GENDER, WORK EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT AND WORKING FIELD.

Abstract: 

INELASTIC DEFORMATION OF METALS HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE ONE OF THE EFFECTIVE MECHANISMS FOR THE DISSIPATION OF ENERGY INPUT TO A STRUCTURE FROM AN EARTHQUAKE. VARIOUS KINDS OF ENERGY DISSIPATION DEVICES HAVE BEEN STUDIED BY SCHOLARS, TO IDENTIFY THE EFFICIENCY OF SUCH DEVICES IN SEISMIC EXCITATIONS. AMONG THESE, ADDED DAMPING AND STIFFNESS (ADAS) DEVICES ARE OF SPECIAL INTERESTS IN IMPROVING THE SEISMIC BEHAVIOR OF STEEL STRUCTURES. IN THE CURRENT STUDY, THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING YIELDING ADAS DAMPERS ON THE SEISMIC RESPONSE OF A MULTI-STORY STEEL PLATE SHEAR WALL BUILDING IS INVESTIGATED, AS AN INNOVATIVE METHOD OF SEISMIC STRENGTHENING. AN EXISTING NINE STORY BUILDING LOCATED IN TEHRAN WAS SELECTED FOR THE CASE STUDY, AND MACRO SCALE NUMERICAL MODELS WERE DEVELOPED TO CONDUCT THE SEISMIC ANALYSES. THE BUILDINGS WERE ASSESSED BEFORE AND AFTER USING THE ADAS DAMPERS IN DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS, TO EVALUATE THE EFFECTS ON MAXIMUM DRIFTS, PERIOD OF THE STRUCTURE, MAXIMUM BASE SHEAR AND STORY FORCES. BY EVALUATION OF RESULTS FROM THE NUMERICAL TIME HISTORY ANALYSES, IT WAS FOUND THAT BY ADDING THE YIELDING ADAS DAMPERS, THE MAXIMUM STORY DRIFT RATIO CAN BE DECREASED BY 40 PERCENT. RESULTS ALSO SHOWED THAT THE PROPOSED SYSTEM PERFORMED WELL IN CONTROLLING THE MAXIMUM BASE SHEAR AND STORY FORCES.

PROBLEM OF SCHEDULING IN PERMUTATION FLOWSHOP IS DEALT WITH BY MINIMIZING THE MAKESPAN. TO THIS END, THE ALGORITHM OF ELECTROMAGNETISM-LIKE METHOD (EM) WAS APPLIED, WHICH UTILIZED AN ATTRACTION-REPULSION MECHANISM TO MOVE THE SAMPLE POINTS TOWARD OPTIMALITY. THE COMPUTATIONAL RESULTS DEMONSTRATED THAT EM WAS ROBUST IN PRACTICE. MOREOVER, THIS ALGORITHM HAD TWO OTHER ADVANTAGES: I: SIMPLICITY OF APPLICATION AND II: OCCUPYING MINOR MEMORY CAPACITY. IN THE FIRST STAGE, THE BASE ALGORITHM WAS DEVELOPED BY COMPENSATING FOR THE LACK OF CONVERGENCE. IN THE SECOND STAGE, THE PARALLEL ALGORITHM WAS APPLIED. FINALLY, RESULTS OF THE ALGORITHM WERE COMPARED WITH THOSE OF OTHER ALGORITHMS.

THEREFORE THE IMPACT OF UNCERTAINTY LEVELS IN KEY GEOLOGIC AND PRODUCTION PARAMETERS SUCH AS NTG, PERMEABILITY, POROSITY, VERTICAL TRANSMISSIBILITY, SKIN FACTOR THAT MUST BE ASSESSED.UNCERTAINTY QUANTIFICATION IS ATTAINED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A METHOD THAT CAN MODEL AND QUANTIFY UNCERTAINTY IN RESERVOIR SIMULATION IN AN EFFICIENT AND PRACTICAL WAY.IN THIS STUDY VARIETY OF APPROACHES ARE INVESTIGATED TO ESTIMATE THE UNCERTAINTY IN A RECOVERY PREDICTION. THE METHODOLOGY EMPLOYED IN THIS STUDY USES MONTE CARLO SIMULATION APPROACH (PROBABILISTIC FORECASTING) AND EFFICIENT SELECTIVE SIMULATION RUNS WITH SIMULTANEOUS, MULTI VARIABLE INPUT MODIFICATIONS. THE RESULTS INDICATE THAT IN TERMS OF RESERVES POINTS OF VIEW THE MAIN UNCERTAINTIES ARE REPRESENTED BY NTG AND PERMEABILITY DISTRIBUTION. THIS CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO INDIGENOUS HETEROGENEOUS CARBONATE RESERVOIR DEPOSITION AND DISSOLUTION. Abstract: 

NONLINEAR OSCILLATOR MODELS HAVE BEEN WIDELY USED IN MANY AREAS OF PHYSICS AND ENGINEERING SUCH AS MECHANICAL AND STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS. IN THIS PAPER, DIFFERENT ANALYTICAL METHODS ARE APPLIED TO THE STRONGLY NONLINEAR OSCILLATOR WITH HIGH NONLINEARITY. PERIODIC SOLUTIONS ARE ANALYTICALLY VERIFIED AND CONSEQUENTLY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE NATURAL FREQUENCY AND THE INITIAL AMPLITUDE IS OBTAINED IN AN ANALYTICAL FORM. ACCORDING TO THIS ARTICLE ON COMPARATIVE STUDY OF FOUR ANALYTICAL METHOD TO SOLVE THE EQUATIONS OF ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION VIBRATION BEAM IS FOCUSED. THE OBTAINED RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH EACH OTHER AND EXACT SOLUTION. ACCURACY AND VALIDITY OF THE PROPOSED TECHNIQUES ARE THEN VERIFIED BY COMPARING THE NUMERICAL RESULTS OBTAINED BASED ON THESE METHODS AND EXACT INTEGRATION METHOD. THESE METHODS ARE COUPLED HOMOTOPY VARIATIONAL FORMULATION, INTEGRAL ITERATION METHOD, AMPLITUDE FREQUENCY FORMULATION AND VARIATIONAL APPROACH.FINALLY, PRESENT ANALYTICAL PROCEDURES IS EVALUATED IN COMPARISON WITH NUMERICAL CALCULATION METHODS.

IN ORDER TO INVESTIGATE THE EFFECTS OF SEED PRIMING ON YIELD COMPONENTS IN PEA (GREENARO), AN EXPERIMENT WAS CONDUCTED IN JANUARY 2013, USING A RANDOMIZED COMPLETE BLOCK DESIGN WITH FOUR REPLICATIONS. THE RESULTS INDICATED A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT OF THE PRIMING TREATMENTS ON THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF POD, POD FRESH WEIGHT, NUMBER OF GRAINS PER PLANT, AVERAGE GRAIN WEIGHT, GERMINATION PERCENTAGE, THE LOWEST POD DISTANCE FROM LAND, THE BIGGEST POD SIZE, POD TOTAL WEIGHT, NUMBER OF PODS AND GRAIN FRESH WEIGHT, WHILE, THE RESULTS INDICATED AN INSIGNIFICANT EFFECT OF THE PRIMING TREATMENTS ON THE POD DRY WEIGHT, GRAIN DRY WEIGHT, PROTEIN CONTENT, THE HIGHEST POD DISTANCE FROM LAND, THE SMALLEST POD SIZE. Abstract: 

INSTABILITY OF BOREHOLE HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES IN THE DRILLING INDUSTRY DURING YEARS. THE MOHR-COULOMB FAILURE CRITERION IS THE MOST FREQUENT CRITERION USED TO ANALYZE THE STABILITY OF WELLBORES. THIS CRITERION IGNORES THE STRENGTHENING EFFECT OF INTERMEDIATE STRESS, SO IT CAN’T BE USED TO PREDICT THE MUD WEIGHT WINDOW PROPERLY. DURING YEARS, LOTS OF CRITERIA THAT CONCERN THE INFLUENCE OF INTERMEDIATE STRESS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED. IN THIS PAPER WELLBORE STABILITY ANALYSIS USING MOHR-COULOMB, MOGI-COULOMB AND MODIFIED LADE FAILURE CRITERIA IS STUDIED AND A COMPARISON BETWEEN RESULTS BASED ON THESE CRITERIA WERE DONE. RESULTS SHOWED THAT THE MOHR-COULOMB FAILURE CRITERIA IS MORE CONSERVATIVE AND OVERESTIMATES THE PRESSURE IN PREDICTING THE SAFE MUD WEIGHT WINDOW. THE MODIFIED LADE FAILURE CRITERION PREDICTED THE CRITICAL MUD WEIGHT CLOSER TO THE REALITY AND LESS CONSERVATIVE THAN MOHR-COULOMB CRITERION AND LESS UNCONSERVATIVE THAN THE MOGI-COULOMB FAILURE CRITERION. A SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS WAS DONE TO EVALUATE THE EFFECT OF SOME FACTORS ON THE PREDICTING THE SAFE MUD WEIGHT WINDOW USING THE AFOREMENTIONED CRITERIA. RESULTS SHOWED THAT IN THE MAJORITY OF CASES, THE MAXIMUM HORIZONTAL STRESS HAD THE MOST EFFECT ON THE INTERNAL WELLBORE PRESSURE AND THE POISSON’S RATIO USING ALL THE CRITERIA HAD THE LEAST EFFECT.

PREVALENCE OF AXIAL RELATIONSHIP, BRIBERY AND RELATIVE ORIENTATION AMONG STATESMAN AND THEIR ILLEGALITY PROVIDES HIDDEN SUPPORT OF BENEFICIARIES, POWERBROKERS AND WHITE COLLARS BY SOME WHO INVOLVED IN GOVERNING BOARD FOR MORE EXPANSION OF LEVERAGING. Abstract: 

ABODES ARE EMERGING CONTAMINANTS IN THE AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT BECAUSE OF THEIR ADVERSE EFFECTS ON AQUATIC LIFE AND HUMANS. AMONG THE DIFFERENT ADVANCED OXIDATION PROCESSES, TITANIUM DIOXIDE PHOTOCATALYSIS HAS EMERGED AS A PROMISING WASTEWATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY. THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE PROCESS ARE LACK OF MASS TRANSFER LIMITATIONS AND OPERATION AT CONDITIONS AND THE CATALYST IS INEXPENSIVE, COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE, NON TOXIC AND PHOTOCHEMICALLY STABLE. IN THIS STUDY THE PHOTOCATALYTIC DEGRADATION OF RELIEF ABODE, UNDER UV LIGHT IRRADIATION USING TITANIUM DIOXIDE NANOPARTICLES IN A RECTANGULAR PHOTOREACTOR WAS STUDIED. THE EFFECT OF VARIOUS PARAMETERS (SUCH AS ABODE CONCENTRATION AND UV LIGHT INTENSITY) ON THE PHOTOCATALYTIC DEGRADATION EFFICIENCY HAS BEEN INVESTIGATED. RESULTS SHOW THAT THE REMOVAL RATE DECREASES WITH INCREASING INITIAL CONCENTRATION OF RELIEF BUT INCREASES WITH INCREASING UV-LIGHT INTENSITY. THE EFFICIENCY OF MINERALIZATION WAS MONITORED BY MEASUREMENT OF TOTAL ORGANIC CARBON (TOC). TITANIUM DIOXIDE NANOPARTICLES SHOWED TO BE THE MOST ACTIVE FOR THE DEGRADATION OF RELIEF.

IN ADDITION, IRAN'S LARGEST OIL AND GAS RESERVOIRS ARE LOCATED IN POLITICAL BOUNDARIES. THEREFORE, A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE RESERVOIR MAKES BETTER USE OF THEM. IN THIS ARTICLE CLASSIFIED EOR METHODS BASE ON LITHOLOGY OF THE RESERVOIRS AND INVESTIGATED THE FREQUENT EOR METHOD (GAS INJECTION) IN THE CARBONATE RESERVOIR THAT IS THE MOST RESERVOIR LITHOLOGY IN IRAN, GAS HAS LOW VISCOSITY AND DUE TO THIS PROPERTY WE NEED SOME COMPLEMENTARY METHODS LIKE FOAM FLOODING TO OVERCOME THIS DISADVANTAGE.

THE NOISE CHARACTERISTICS ARE CALCULATED AS A FUNCTION OF GATE VOLTAGE AS WELL AS DRAIN VOLTAGE. THE NOISE CURVE VERSUS GATE VOLTAGE ALSO SHOWS THREE REGIONS. AND ALSO THE NOISE CURVE VERSUS DRAIN VOLTAGE SHOWS TWO REGIONS. THE FIRST REGION IS RELATED TO THE TRIODE REGION OF THE TRANSISTOR WHERE THE NOISE DECREASES WITH INCREASE OF THE DRAIN VOLTAGE. THE SECOND REGION IS RELATED TO THE SATURATION REGION OF THE TRANSISTOR WHERE THE NOISE IS ALMOST CONSTANT.

THIS STUDY DEALS WITH ESTIMATING THE PARAMETERS OF THE RECEIVED SIGNAL OF THE POLY PHASE IN THREE ORDERS. THE PROCESS OF ESTIMATION OCCURS IN TWO STAGES: IN THE FIRST STAGE, THE HIGH ORDERS OF THE SIGNAL WERE ESTIMATED HIGHLY ACCURATELY USING THE NON UNIFORM FFT. THE RECEIVED SIGNAL PASSES THROUGH THE COMPONENTIAL MATCH FILTER WHICH HAS BEEN ESTIMATED HIGHLY ACCURATELY. AS IT PASSES THROUGH THIS FILTER, THE ORDER OF THE PLOY PHASE DECREASES. IN THE SECOND STAGE, THE COMPONENTS OF THE LOW ORDER OF THE PLOY PHASE SIGNAL ARE ESTIMATED HIGHLY ACCURATELY USING THE SHORT TIME FREQUENCY TRANSFORM (STFT) METHOD. FINALLY, THE FINDINGS OF THE STIMULATION IN THESE TWO STAGES INDICATED THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PRESENTED ALGORITHM FOR THE RECEIVED SIGNAL PARAMETERS INCLUDING THE INITIAL FREQUENCY, THE CHIRP RATE, AND THE CHANGE CHIRP RATE.

THIS PAPER PRESENTS A RATHER SIMPLE, YET REALISTIC WAY OF MODELING ASPHALTENE-INDUCED NEAR-WELL FORMATION DAMAGE CAUSED BY BLOCKAGE OF PORE THROATS BY ASPHALTENE PARTICLES. THE MODEL UTILIZES BOTH MACROSCOPIC AND MICROSCOPIC CONCEPTS OF THE PORE THROAT BLOCKAGES. IT ALSO UTILIZES AN EXISTING ASPHALTENE PHASE BEHAVIOR MODEL. THE RESULTS OF THE ANALYSIS SHOWED THAT THE HYPOTHESIS THAT THE MECHANISM OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND MARKET VALUE-ADDED ECONOMIC VALUE OF LISTED COMPANIES IN TEHRAN STOCK EXCHANGE HAS AN IMPACT MODIFIED. THE RESULTS OF THE ANALYSIS SHOWED THAT THE HYPOTHESIS THAT THE MECHANISM OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND MARKET VALUE-ADDED ECONOMIC VALUE ADDED MODIFIED ACCEPTED COMPANIES IN TEHRAN STOCK EXCHANGE IMPLICATIONS. BUT NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE PERCENTAGE OF OWNERSHIP OF BOARD MEMBERS, INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS PERCENTAGE OWNERSHIP, THE PROPORTION OF INDEPENDENT OUTSIDE DIRECTORS ON THE BOARD AND AUDIT FIRM SIZE AND MARKET VALUE-ADDED ECONOMIC VALUE ADDED WAS OBSERVED MODIFIED.

X-RAY DIFFRACTION (XRD), TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPY (TEM), CHARGE-DISCHARGE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL IMPEDANCE SPECTROSCOPY (EIS) TESTS WERE APPLIED TO INVESTIGATE STRUCTURE, MORPHOLOGY AND ELECTROCHEMICAL PERFORMANCE OF THE LITHIUM-RICH DOPED SAMPLE. XRD ANALYSIS CONFIRMS THAT THE UNIFORM SOLID SOLUTION HAS BEEN FORMED IN THE AS-PREPARED COMPOUND WITHOUT ANY IMPURITIES. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE CRYSTAL LATTICE PARAMETERS (A, C) OF THE DOPED COMPOUND IS BIGGER THAN PRISTINE COMPOUND. TEM IMAGE OF THE COMPOUND SHOWS THAT CUBIC-LIKE MICROPARTICLES WITH A MEAN GRAIN SIZE OF 600 NM HAVE BEEN FORMED. GALVANOSTATIC CHARGE-DISCHARGE TEST EXHIBITS THAT DOPED SAMPLE HAS A DISCHARGE CAPACITY OF 257 MAH.G-1 IN THE VOLTAGE RANGE OF 2-4.8V. EIS RESULTS DEMONSTRATE THAT DOPING DECREASES CHARGE TRANSFER RESISTANCE AND ENHANCES CONDUCTIVITY AND REACTION KINETICS DUE TO HIGH CURRENT IONS AND ELECTRONS OF THE DOPED ELEMENT.

IN THE PRESENT PAPER, TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES, DISADVANTAGES AND CHARACTERISTICS OF REACTOR EXTRUDER AND THE STATE OF FLOW MECHANISM PERFORMANCE IN EXTRUDER HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATED AND STUDIED, AND THE EFFECTIVE PARAMETERS ON THE PROCESS CONDITION HAVE BEEN SURVEYED. IN TUBE HYDROFORMING PROCESS, A TUBE IS INSERTED IN BETWEEN DIES AND THE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE WILL BE INCREASED TILL TUBE AND DIE HAVE CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER. SINCE THERE ARE SOME SIGNIFICANT PARAMETERS SUCH AS FRICTION BETWEEN THE DIES AND TUBE, INITIAL THICKNESS AND INTERNAL PRESSURE WHICH CAN AFFECT THE BULGE HEIGHT OF HYDRO FORMED TUBE, THE PROCESS IS SIMULATED BY FEA PACKAGES ABAQUS. THEN, STRESS AND DISPLACEMENT OF TUBE ARE CALCULATED AND THEIR EFFECTS ARE DISCUSSED ON BULGE HEIGHT OF PRODUCT. ALSO VON MISES STRESS ON A CRITICAL PATH OF TUBE IN DIFFERENT INTERNAL PRESSURES IS INVESTIGATED. THE RESULTS CAN BE USED BEFORE ANY EXPERIMENTAL TEST TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED PRODUCT.

THE STUDY ADOPTED A QUASI-EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN WITH TWO GROUPS ASSIGNED AS EXPERIMENTAL GROUP ONE (IMPULSIVE GROUP) AND EXPERIMENTAL GROUP TWO (REFLECTIVE GROUP). TO THIS END, THREE INSTRUMENTS WERE USED IN THE STUDY TO GATHER THE NEEDED DATA: 1) THE PERSIAN VERSION OF THE IMPULSIVITY/REFLECTIVITY QUESTIONNAIRE OF BARRATT IN 1995 (BIS-11), AFTER PERFORMING QUESTIONNAIRE THE PARTICIPANTS WERE DIVIDED TO TWO GROUPS: IMPULSIVE LEARNERS GROUP AND REFLECTIVE LEARNERS GROUP.2) THE OXFORD PLACEMENT TEST (OPT) IN 2007, WAS USED FOR MEASURING THE LEVEL OF THE PARTICIPANTS’ LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY (ONLY GRAMMAR) AND ASSURING HOMOGENEITY OF TWO GROUPS 3) THE GRAMMAR KNOWLEDGE TEST THAT WAS DEVISED BY THE TEACHER-RESEARCHER AND INCLUDED FORTY ITEMS AS THE PRE-TEST AND THE POST-TEST. FOR THIS REASON, THE RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY OF WHICH HAD BEEN ESTABLISHED BY HER, PRIOR TO THE MAIN STUDY TO TWO GROUPS. JIGSAW TECHNIQUE WAS EXPOSED TO TWO CLASSES (I/R) FOR TEACHING GRAMMAR. THE TREATMENT LASTED FOR 10 SESSIONS, AFTER THE PARTICIPANTS OF BOTH GROUPS SEPARATELY WERE EVALUATED ON THEIR GRAMMATICAL KNOWLEDGE. THE DATA COLLECTED WERE ANALYZED THROUGH A COMBINATION OF DESCRIPTIVE AND INFERENTIAL STATISTICS. THE RESULTS OF STATISTICAL ANALYSIS INDICATED THAT JIGSAW TECHNIQUE LED TO AN ENHANCEMENT ON THE GRAMMAR ACHIEVEMENT OF REFLECTIVE LEARNERS. HOWEVER, THE USE OF JIGSAW TECHNIQUE DID NOT PROVE EFFECTIVE FOR THE IMPULSIVE LEARNERS.

NUCLEATE BOILING IS AN EFFECTIVE MODE OF HEAT TRANSFER, HOWEVER, IT IS STILL RELATIVELY POORLY UNDERSTOOD. IN THIS STUDY, AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON THE NUCLEATION SITE DENSITY DURING NUCLEATE POOL BOILING OF SATURATED PURE LIQUIDS AT ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE IS DESCRIBED. A HIGH-SPEED DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA WAS APPLIED TO CAPTURE THE DYNAMICS OF THE BUBBLE NUCLEATION PROCESS. THE LIQUIDS USED IN THE STUDY WERE PURE WATER, ETHANOL, METHANOL, ACETONE AND ISOPROPANOL. IN THIS ARTICLE, EXTENSIVE NEW EXPERIMENTAL DATA ARE PRESENTED FOR BUBBLE NUCLEATION SITE DENSITY DURING SATURATED POOL BOILING OVER A WIDE RANGE OF HEAT FLUX. FOR ALL TEST FLUIDS, EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS SHOW THAT THE BUBBLE NUCLEATION SITE DENSITY INCREASE WITH INCREASING BOILING HEAT FLUX. ALSO, THE RESULTS HAVE SHOWN THAT HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT INCREASE WITH INCREASING THE NUCLEATION SITE DENSITY. A NEW MODEL FOR THE PREDICTION OF NUCLEATION SITE DENSITY IN NUCLEATE BOILING IS PROPOSED, WHICH PREDICTS THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA WITH AN ACCEPTABLE ACCURACY.

THE APPROACH PROPOSED FOR THERMAL MODELING OF THE WINDING IS BASED ON PARTIAL FEA OF A SINGLE SLOT. THE SUGGESTED FE MODEL OF THE WINDING IS RELATIVELY SIMPLE, A THERMAL MODELING APPROACH FOR DIRECTLY COOLED ELECTRIC MACHINES WAS PROPOSED. THE REQUIRED CFD SIMULATIONS IN THIS APPROACH ARE SIMPLE AND ONLY BASIC SKILLS IN CFD MODELING AND HEAT TRANSFER ARE NEEDED. IN THE PROPOSED SOLUTIONS IN THIS PAPER, MAJOR ADVANTAGES OF LP MODELING AND NUMERICAL METHODS ARE EXPLOITED BY AVOIDING TIME-CONSUMING FE OR CFD ANALYSIS OF A COMPLETE MACHINE.

ADVANCES IN BIOTECHNOLOGY HAVE ENABLED THE DEVELOPMENT OF NOVEL APPLICATIONS FOR ENZYMES IN MANY FIELDS. IN THIS STUDY, SAMPLES OF COTTON FABRICS TREATED WITH LIPASE (PORCINE PANCREAS) IN DIFFERENT TIMES (1, 42, 141, 240, 281 MIN) AND CONCENTRATIONS (0.17, 1, 3, 5, 5.83 G/L) AND SOME OF THEIR PHYSICAL PROPERTIES INCLUDING WEIGHT REDUCTION PERCENTAGE (WRP), RATE OF WATER ABSORBENCY (RWA), MOISTURE REGAIN (MR) AND REACTIVE DYE ABSORPTION (RDA) WERE MEASURED. THE ENZYME ACTIVITY WAS DETERMINED BASED ON TITRIMETRIC METHOD AND THE AMOUNTS OF PRODUCED FATTY ACID RESULTING FROM ENZYMATIC HYDROLYSIS WERE CONSIDERED AS THE RATE OF THE PROGRESS OF THE TREATMENT. THIRTEEN EXPERIMENTS WERE CARRIED OUT BASED ON CENTRAL COMPOSITE DESIGN (CCD). THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT INCREMENT IN ENZYME CONCENTRATION AND TREATMENT TIME CAN IMPROVE THE DYE AND WATER ABSORPTION SIGNIFICANTLY. MOST CASES SHOWED CLOSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TWO STUDIED VARIABLE PARAMETERS AND RESPONSE MODELS WERE MOSTLY QUADRATIC.

ROSS METHOD WAS USED TO DETERMINE ENTRAINMENT FACTOR FOR EACH EXPERIMENT. RESULTS SHOWED THAT THE ENTRAINMENT FACTOR WOULD INCREASE BY DECREASING SOLID CONTENT AND PARTICLE SIZE. THE CHANCE OF PARTICLE TO TRANSFER TO FROTH ZONE INCREASES BY INCREASING SOLID CONTENT SINCE IT IMPROVE THE DISPERSION OF PARTICLE THROUGHOUT THE PULP WHICH FURTHER INCREASES THE FROTH SOLID CONTENT AND RETENTION TIME AND THEREFORE, THE CHANCE OF DROPPING PARTICLES BACK TO THE PULP INCREASES WHICH LEADS TO THE DECREASE OF CONCENTRATION OF PARTICLES ENTERS TO FROTH ZONE BY ENTRAINMENT MECHANISM. IN ADDITION, PARTICLES WITH SMALLER DIAMETER WILL SHOW HIGHER ENTRAINMENT RATE RELATIVE TO THOSE WITH LARGER DIAMETER DUE TO WATER WAKE EFFECT BEHIND RISING BUBBLES. THEREFORE, ENTRAINMENT FACTOR WOULD DECREASE AS PARTICLE SIZE INCREASES. FROTHER CONCENTRATION EFFECT WAS ALSO FOUND TO BE INSIGNIFICANT. IN ADDITION, THE ONLY SIGNIFICANT INTERACTION WAS THAT BETWEEN SOLID CONTENT AND PARTICLE SIZE.

Abstract: 

PRAGMATIC COMPETENCE APPEARS TO BE AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF LANGUAGE LEARNING, ESPECIALLY IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING CONTEXT. AMONG THE VARIOUS ASPECTS OF PRAGMATIC COMPETENCE, THIS STUDY AIMED TO INVESTIGATE IF THERE IS ANY SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DIRECT AND INDIRECT REFUSAL STRATEGIES OF MBA AND LAW STUDENTS IN REAL LIFE SITUATIONS AND ACADEMIC CONTEXTS. THE PARTICIPANTS (N=100) WITH EQUAL NUMBER OF MBA AND LAW STUDENTS ANSWERED A UNIQUE PRAGMATIC QUESTIONNAIRE. THE PRAGMATIC QUESTIONNAIRE WAS DEVELOPED ON THE BASIS OF DIRECT AND INDIRECT REFUSAL OF REQUESTS, SUGGESTIONS AND INVITATIONS IN REAL LIFE AND IN ACADEMIC CONTEXTS. THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY SHOWED (1) NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN LAW AND MBA STUDENTS’ USING OF ALL DIRECT STATEMENTS IN REAL LIFE SITUATIONS, BUT THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN USING REAL LIFE DIRECT REQUEST BETWEEN LAW AND MBA STUDENTS, (2) NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN USING DIRECT STATEMENTS IN ACADEMIC CONTEXTS BETWEEN LAW AND MBA STUDENTS, (3) NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAW AND MBA STUDENTS’ USING OF ALL PROBABILITY STATEMENTS IN REAL LIFE SITUATION, (4) NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE USE OF EXCUSE STATEMENTS BY LAW AND MBA STUDENTS, (5) NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAW AND MBA STUDENTS’ USING OF ALL EXCUSE STATEMENTS IN ACADEMIC CONTEXTS, (6) A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN USING CONDITIONAL STATEMENTS IN REAL LIFE AND ACADEMIC CONTEXTS, (7) A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN USING CONDITIONAL STATEMENT IN ACADEMIC CONTEXT BETWEEN LAW AND MBA STUDENTS, (8) NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN LAW AND MBA STUDENTS’ USE OF CONDITIONAL STATEMENTS IN REAL LIFE SITUATION.

Abstract: 

IN MANY ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS, FIN ARRAYS ARE USED AS A METHOD TO INCREASE HEAT TRANSFER RATE FROM A SURFACE. THE AMOUNT OF HEAT TRANSFER DEPENDS ON FILM COEFFICIENT OF THE COOLANT FLUID (E.G. AIR) WHICH IS A FUNCTION OF THE FLOW REGIME. MORE TURBULENCE IN AIR FLOW RESULTS IN HIGHER AMOUNTS OF HEAT TRANSFER. THEREFORE, CAUSING TURBULENCE IN AIR FLOW IS DESIRABLE IN MANY CASES. A PRACTICAL WAY TO CAUSE TURBULENCE IN AIR FLOW WHICH IS PASSING THROUGH AN ARRAY OF FINS, IS USING HELICAL FINS INSTEAD OF STRAIGHT NORMAL FINS. IN THIS PAPER, THE PERFORMANCE OF HELICAL AND NORMAL FINS, WHICH ARE ATTACHED TO A SURFACE WITH A HIGH TEMPERATURE, IS EVALUATED USING NUMERICAL SIMULATION. IT SHOULD BE NOTICED THAT THE PITCH LENGTH OF HELICAL FINS MUST BE IN AN APPROPRIATE RANGE IN ORDER TO OBTAIN BETTER FUNCTIONALITY. WE HAVE DONE CFD ANALYSIS ON SEVERAL MODELS OF HELICAL PIN FIN ARRAYS WITH DIFFERENT PITCH LENGTHS, THE OPTIMUM AMOUNT OF PITCH LENGTH IS FOUND. THE RESULTS SHOW THAT HELICAL PIN FINS WITH SPECIFIC OPTIMUM PITCH LENGTH COULD BE USED TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF HEAT TRANSFER SIGNIFICANTLY.

Abstract: 

WE PRESENT IN THIS PAPER HOW STRONG OPTICAL INJECTION CAN PRODUCE VARIOUS DYNAMICS IN THE OUTPUT OF THE SEMICONDUCTOR LASER THAT IS PREFERABLE FOR PERFECT ENCRYPTED OPTICAL COMMUNICATION NETWORKS. NUMERICAL INVESTIGATIONS UNDER THE CONDITION OF STRONG OPTICAL INJECTION LOCKING OF THE SLAVE LASER SHOWS THAT INSTABILITIES IN THE PHOTON NUMBER WAS OBSERVED AND HAD SETTLED DOWN AFTER A TIME OF IN THE ORDER OF CARRIER LIFETIME. USING THE CONVENTIONAL RATE EQUATIONS DESCRIBING AN INJECTION-LOCKED SYSTEM, A NOVEL MODULATION RESPONSE FUNCTION IS DERIVED, WHICH IMPLICITLY INCORPORATES NONLINEAR GAIN THROUGH THE FREE-RUNNING RELAXATION OSCILLATION FREQUENCY AND DAMPING RATE OF THE SLAVE LASER. THE RESULTS OF CALCULATIONS SHOED THAT THICKNESS OF THE ACTIVE REGION, COEFFICIENT OF GAIN SATURATION AND THE GAIN COEFFICIENT HAVE AN EFFECTIVE ROLE IN RATE EQUATIONS OF OPTICAL INJECTION-LOCKED SEMICONDUCTOR LASERS. INCREASING THICKNESS OF THE ACTIVE REGION, INCREASED THE PHOTON AND CARRIER NUMBERS AS LIKE AS COEFFICIENT OF GAIN SATURATION. WITH INCREASING GAIN COEFFICIENT CARRIER AND PHOTONS NUMBER HAD BEEN STABLE SOONER AND GAIN COEFFICIENT DID NOT EFFECT ON THE PHASE.

PERFORMANCE BASED BUDGETING PROCESS IS RELATED TO THE COSTS AND RESULTS, NOW THIS TYPE OF BUDGETING IS ESTABLISHED IN MANY DEVELOPED COUNTRIES. THIS RESEARCH METHOD IS A QUESTIONNAIRE SURVEY TO COLLECT DATA FROM THE QUESTIONNAIRES. TWO INSTRUMENTS WERE USED TO GATHER THE NEEDED DATA: A 50-ITEM LIKERT-TYPE STRATEGY QUESTIONNAIRE AND A LIKERT-TYPE BACKGROUND QUESTIONNAIRE TO ELICIT DATA ON ATTITUDE, MOTIVATION, AND YEARS OF STUDY. ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS REVEALED THAT THE SUBJECTS OF THE STUDY REPORTED TO EMPLOYING METACOGNITIVE, SOCIAL, AFFECTIVE, AND COMPENSATION STRATEGIES MORE FREQUENTLY THAN MEMORY AND COGNITIVE STRATEGIES. ALSO IN THIS STUDY, ATTITUDE PROVED TO INFLUENCE THE USE OF LANGUAGE LEARNING STRATEGIES (LLSS) SIGNIFICANTLY. THAT IS, LEARNERS WITH POSITIVE ATTITUDE USED LLSS MORE FREQUENTLY THAN THOSE WITH NEGATIVE ATTITUDE. REGARDING THE FACTOR OF MOTIVATION, INTEGRATIVELY-MOTIVATED STUDENTS EMPLOYED MORE STRATEGIES THAN INSTRUMENTALLY-ORIENTED ONES. FURTHERMORE, SENIORS SHOWED GREATER USE OF LLSS THAN FRESHMEN.

SEM ANALYSIS REVELS THE PHASES WITH DISTRIBUTION OF AL2O3 NANOPARTICLES ALONG THE YBCO GRAIN BOUNDARIES SYSTEMATICALLY. NO DEVIATION IN THE STRUCTURAL SYMMETRY STATE WAS FOUND. SUPERCONDUCTING PARAMETERS ARE AFFECTED BY THE NANOPARTICLE ADDITION, AND RESULTS ARE DISCUSSED IN BEARING TO THE STRUCTURAL AND MICROSTRUCTURE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PURE Y-123 AND DOPED Y-123. THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF ELECTRICAL RESISTIVITY R (T) HAS BEEN MEASURED AND THE EFFECT OF ADDITION OF AL2O3 NANOPARTICLES WITH AND WITHOUT MAGNETIC FIELDS IN THE SUPERCONDUCTIVITY AND NORMAL REGION HAS BEEN REPORTED.

Abstract: 

IN THIS STUDY SHOWS ANY POSSIBLE CORRELATION AMONG EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EQ), SELF-ESTEEM, AND SPEAKING SKILL. TWO QUESTIONNAIRES WERE GIVEN TO THE PARTICIPANTS IN ORDER TO SEE THEIR EQ LEVEL, THEIR SELF- ESTEEM, AND TEST THEIR SECOND LANGUAGE SPEAKING ABILITIES. THE RESULTS OF THE QUESTIONNAIRES INDICATED THAT THERE AREN’T ANY SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIPS AMONG THE LEVELS OF EQ, SELF-ESTEEM AND SPEAKING SKILL.

WE STUDY THE WAVELET BASES FORMED BY TENSOR PRODUCTS OF UNIVARIATE WAVELETS. SINCE THE CROSS SECTIONAL SHAPE OF THESE STRUCTURE WOULD BE EFFECTIVE ON THEIR MECHANICAL PERFORMANCES, IN THIS PAPER TWO DIFFERENT 3D SPACER SANDWICH COMPOSITES INCLUDING U-SHAPED AND V-SHAPED STRUCTURES WAS AIMED TO BE COMPARE IN TERMS OF THEIR COMPRESSION AND BENDING STRENGTH. THE RESULTS REVEALED THAT THE V-SHAPED 3D SPACER WEFT KNITTED COMPOSITES, HAVE HIGHER ABILITY TO PROVIDE SUCH UNIFORM STRESSES DISTRIBUTION WITHIN THE STRUCTURE THAN THE U-SHAPED 3D COMPOSITES.

Abstract: 

THIS STUDY WAS AN INVESTIGATION TO DETECT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDENTS’ EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND THEIR LANGUAGE ACHIEVEMENT AT UNIVERSITY LEVEL. HOWEVER, KNOWING A LANGUAGE IS ACCOMPANIED WITH SPEAKING SKILL AND THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH IT. THEREFORE, THE PURPOSE OF THE PRESENT STUDY IS TO FIND THE FACTORS WHICH AFFECT EFL STUDENTS’ WILLINGNESS TO COMMUNICATE (WTC). TO FIND THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN WILLINGNESS TO COMMUNICATE AND STUDENTS’ EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EQ- I) TWO QUESTIONNAIRES WERE USED AND 130 INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS WERE SELECTED RANDOMLY FROM 3 LANGUAGE INSTITUTES IN TONEKABON. THEIR LEVEL OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY WAS DETERMINED THROUGH ADMINISTERING CAMBRIDGE LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST (LANGUAGE, PET) AND RESULTS OF THE PERSON CORRELATION TEST SHOWED A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EFL LEARNERS’ WTC AND FOUR FACTORS OF THE EQ-I NAMED: INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP (IP), EMPATHY (EM), ASSERTIVENESS (AS), AND EMOTIONAL SELF-AWARENESS (ES) AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE. THE FINDINGS OF THE PRESENT STUDY REVEALED THAT THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE STUDENTS’ EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND THEIR LANGUAGE ACHIEVEMENT. GIRLS WERE FOUND TO HAVE HIGHER EQ LEVEL THAN BOYS IN THIS PARTICULAR STUDY. THE FINDINGS OF THIS STUDY MAY SERVE AS RECOMMENDATIONS TO INSTRUCTORS TO MODIFY METHODS WHICH CAN BE APPROPRIATE FOR STUDENTS AND THEIR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE LEVEL AND ALSO MIGHT HELP THEM SELECT APPROPRIATE TEACHING MATERIALS FOR STUDENTS WITH DIFFERENT ABILITIES.

MODIFIED EDC COUPLING FRACTION USED TO FABRICATE THE USPIO-C595 AS A MR IMAGING CONTRAST AGENT FOR BREAST CANCER TUMOR IN EARLY STAGES. FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY (FT-IR), TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPY (TEM), PCS WERE PERFORMED TO DETERMINE THE NANOPARTICLE BINDING. MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI) WAS PERFORMED TO EVALUATE THE SIGNAL ENHANCEMENT ON T2 SPIN ECHO OF THE NANOPROBE. PROTEIN AND IRON CONCENTRATION OF NANOPROBE EXAMINED BY THE STANDARD METHOEDS. MTT ASSAY PERFORMED TO EVALUATE THE CYTOTOXICITY OF THE PROBE IN BREAST CANCER CELL LINE (MCF-7). BASED ON THE FINDINGS, LOW CONCENTRATION OF NANOPROBE CAUSED REDUCING THE T2 NOTABLY. ACCORDING TO THE INVESTIGATIONS FROM THE PRESENT RESEARCH USPIO-C595 NANOPROBE MAY PERHAPS BE THE POTENTIAL T2 BREAST MOLECULAR IMAGING TOGETHER WITH THE THERAPEUTIC AGENT.

Abstract: 

NUCLEATE BOILING HEAT TRANSFER (NBHT) HAS BEEN CONSIDERED AN EFFECTIVE WAY TO REMOVE THE HIGHER HEAT FLUX AT A GIVEN TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE COMPARED WITH A SINGLE PHASE HEAT TRANSFER.THE PRESENT STUDY IS AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF ROUGHNESS EFFECTS ON NUCLEATE POOL BOILING OF WATER ON HORIZONTAL STAINLESS STEEL CYLINDER. THE CYLINDERS WERE TREATED BY DIFFERENT SAND PAPER GRIT SIZES TO ACHIEVE DIFFERENT SURFACE ROUGHNESS. THE AVERAGE SURFACE ROUGHNESS OF THE SEX SAMPLES WAS 0.98, 0.81, 0.65, 0.48, 0.24 AND 0.08 MM, RESPECTIVELY. THE EXPERIMENTS WERE PERFORMED IN THE HEAT FLUX RANGE OF 5 TO 110 KWM-2. THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT WAS CALCULATED BY MEASURING WALL SUPERHEAT OF THE SAMPLES AND THE INPUT HEAT FLUX. THE RESULTS SHOW SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT OF HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT AS THE SURFACE ROUGHNESS IS INCREASED. THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA SHOW THAT BUBBLE DEPARTURE FREQUENCY AND NUCLEATION SITE DENSITY INCREASE AND BUBBLE DEPARTURE DIAMETER DECREASES WITH INCREASING THE SURFACE ROUGHNESS. A NEW MODEL FOR THE PREDICTION OF HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IS PROPOSED, WHICH PREDICTS THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA WITH A SATISFACTORY ACCURACY.

Abstract: 

HEDGING ENABLES WRITERS TO SHOW A PERSPECTIVE ON THEIR STATEMENTS, TO PRESENT UNPROVEN CLAIMS WITH PRUDENCE AND TO ENTER INTO A DIALOGUE WITH THEIR AUDIENCES.MEDICAL ARTICLES SHOW INTERESTING EXAMPLES OF THE USE OF HEDGING IN SCIENTIFIC DISCOURSE, BECAUSE THEY RELATE TO IMPORTANT ISSUES OF OUR LIFE.THIS STUDY INVESTIGATES THE USE OF LEXICAL HEDGING DEVICES IN DISCUSSION SECTION OF MEDICAL ARTICLES. BASED ON A CORPUS OF 60 DISCUSSIONS COLLECTED FROM REPUTABLE MEDICAL JOURNALS, THIS STUDY EXAMINES IF FREQUENCY OF HEDGING DIFFERS BETWEEN IRANIAN AND NON-IRANIAN AUTHORS. THE TOTAL NUMBERS OF WORDS IN DISCUSSION SECTIONS IN NON-IRANIAN AND IRANIAN MEDICAL ARTICLES WERE 12, 570 AND 19, 828 RESPECTIVELY.ANALYSES INDICATED THAT DISCUSSIONS WRITTEN BY NON-IRANIAN AUTHORS HAD MORE HEDGING DEVICES THAN THE ONES WRITTEN BY IRANIANS. THE FINDINGS OF THIS STUDY SHOWED THAT MEDICAL ARTICLES WRITTEN BY NON-IRANIAN AUTHORS ARE 0.45 MORE HEDGED THAN THE ONES WRITTEN BY IRANIAN WRITERS.

Abstract: 

INTRODUCTION: DUE TO INCREASED LIFE EXPECTANCY AND A GROWING ELDERLY POPULATION, SEXUAL AND PHYSICAL PROBLEMS RELATED TO MENOPAUSE ARE IMPORTANT FROM THE HEALTH POINT OF VIEW. THIS STUDY AIMED TO EVALUATE THE EFFECT OF GINKGO BILOBA TABLET AND AROMATHERAPY INHALER COMBINATION (LAVENDER, FENNEL AND GERANIUM AND ROSE) IN REDUCTION OF SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION IN POSTMENOPAUSAL WOMEN.METHODS: THIS DOUBLE BLIND RANDOMIZED CLINICAL TRIAL STUDY WAS DONE ON 180 POSTMENOPAUSAL WOMEN AT AGE RANGE OF 45-55 YEARS REFERRING TO HEALTH CENTERS IN ARDABIL UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, IRAN. THE SUBJECTS WERE RANDOMLY DIVIDED INTO THREE GROUPS OF 60: PLACEBO AROMA SOLUTION AND GINKGO BILOBA TABLET USERS, AROMA SOLUTION WITH PLACEBO GINKGO BILOBA USERS, AND AROMA PLACEBO WITH PLACEBO GINKGO BILOBA USERS WHO RECEIVED 40 MG GINKGO BILOBA EITHER IN TABLET OR PLACEBO AND 2-3 DROPS OF AROMA SOLUTION OR PLACEBO ON THE SKIN, 3 TIMES A DAY FOR 6 WEEKS. THE DATA COLLECTION TOOL WAS A QUESTIONNAIRE INCLUDED QUESTIONS ON THE SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND FEMALE SEXUAL FUNCTION INDEX (FSFI). THE PRIMARY OUTCOME WAS THE MEAN SCORE OF SEXUAL FUNCTION AFTER INTERVENTION IN THE STUDY GROUPS. THE ANALYSIS WAS DONE BASED ON INTENTION-TO-TREAT.RESULTS: THE MEAN (SD) TOTAL SCORES OF SEXUAL FUNCTION AT BASELINE IN AROMATHERAPY, GINKGO BILOBA AND PLACEBO GROUPS WERE 18.4 (5.4), 17.5 (6.8) AND 15.8 (5.7) THAT INCREASED TO 22.9 (3.3), 21.6 (4.5) AND 17.2 (4.2) IN THE AROMA, GINKGO BILOBA AND PLACEBO RESPECTIVELY AFTER INTERVENTION. ANCOVA TEST SHOWED SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES AFTER INTERVENTION IN TOTAL SCORES (P<0.001) AND ALL SUB DOMAINS OF SEXUAL FUNCTION (P<0.003) OTHER THAN PAIN IN GINKGO BILOBA AND AROMATHERAPY GROUPS COMPARED WITH PLACEBO THROUGH CONTROLLING THE EFFECTS OF CONFOUNDING VARIABLES.CONCLUSION: AROMATHERAPY INHALER COMBINATION PILL AND GINKGO BILOBA IMPROVED SEXUAL FUNCTION IN POSTMENOPAUSAL WOMEN.

FOR THE FIRST TIME, ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF ETHYLENE GLYCOL (EG), A ROUTINE FREQUENTLY USED SOLVENT, AGAINST ESCHERICHIA COLI (E.COLI) BACTERIUM WAS ASSESSED. THE ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF EG AGAINST E. COLI WAS MEASURED USING COLONY COUNTING AND BROTH TURBIDITY ASSAY. THE INFLUENCE OF TIME AND CONCENTRATION OF EG (1.5 TO 25.0%V/V) ON THE GROWTH OF E. COLI WAS INVESTIGATED. BY INCREASING EG CONCENTRATION, ITS ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY AGAINST E. COLI INCREASES SO THAT FOR BOTH 24.0% AND 25.0% OF EG, THE BACTERIA GROWTH IS INHIBITED TOTALLY WITHIN 4 H. THE MIC AND MBC VALUES OF EG ARE 18.0 AND 25%V/V, RESPECTIVELY. SINCE THE RATIO OF MIC TO MBC IS LESS THAN FOUR, EG ACTS AS A BACTERICIDAL AGENT. ALSO, A MODEL FOR THE SLOPES OF THE LINEAR PART OF GROWTH CURVES WAS PROPOSED.

THIS PAPER IMPROVED THE OUTPUT IMPEDANCE OF AN LVLP CURRENT MIRROR BY USING BULK DRIVEN TECHNIQUE AND TRANSCONDUCTANCE ENHANCEMENT. THE APPLIED TECHNIQUE INCREASES THE OUTPUT IMPEDANCE OF CURRENT MIRROR SIGNIFICANTLY COMPARED WITH THE PRIMARY CIRCUIT. ALSO, IT PROVIDE LITTLE IMPROVEMENT IN INPUT RESISTANCE AND BANDWIDTH. OPERATION PRINCIPLE OF CURRENT MIRROR CIRCUIT WITH PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT IS DISCUSSED, THE MOST IMPORTANT FORMULAS ARE DERIVED AND COMPARED WITH THE PRIMARY CIRCUIT AND ITS PERFORMANCE IS VERIFIED BY SIMULATION IN 0.18UM TECHNOLOGY. AN OUTPUT RESISTANCE OF 39.5 G W IS ACHIEVED FOR THE IMPROVED CIRCUIT THAT SHOWS 5GW INCREMENT IN COMPARISON WITH PRIMARY CIRCUIT. BESIDES, SIMULATION RESULTS SHOW AN INPUT RESISTANCE OF 12.8 W AND -3DB CUT-OFF FREQUENCY OF 216 MHZ FOR THE IMPROVED CURRENT MIRROR CIRCUIT WHILE IT CONSUMES ONLY 42.5 MW STILL AND OTHER SPECIFICATIONS ARE STILL REMAIN UNCHANGED. SIMULATION IS DONE BY 1V POWER SUPPLY AND 15ΜA INPUT CURRENT.

Abstract: 

WITH RESPECT TO NITRATE LOSS FROM AGRICULTURAL SOILS OF TEMPERATE REGIONS, NITRATE LEACHING IS AN IMPORTANT PHENOMENON. DECOMPOSITION OF PLANTS AND OTHER ORGANIC RESIDUES IN SOIL AND IMPROPER DISPOSAL OF WASTEWATER AND NITROGEN FERTILIZERS CAUSES INTERED NITRATE IN SURFACE WATER, GROUNDWATERS. NANO LDH-CHLORIDE WAS SYNTHESIZED USING HYDROTHERMAL TECHNIQUE AND THEN CHARACTERIZED USING SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY AND EDS AND NITRATE REMOVAL FROM AQUATIC SOLUTIONS BY THIS MINERAL WAS EVALUATED AT DIFFERENT PHS, TIMES, ROTATION SPEEDS, ADSORBENT CONCENTRATIONS AND NITRATE SOLUTION CONCENTRATIONS. MICROSCOPIC IMAGES OF SYNTHESIZED NANOPLATES WERE EXAMINED WITH ELECTRON MICROSCOPES EDS AND SEM WITH TWO MAGNIFICATION. RESULTS INDICATED THAT, DIMENSIONS OF NANOPLATES WERE AT NANO SCALES SO THAT THE AVERAGE THICKNESS OF NANOPLATES WAS 20 NANOMETERS AND THEIR DIAMETER WAS 250 NM. THE HIGHER MAGNIFICATION OF THE LDH INDICATED THAT THE NANO PARTICLES WERE FLAKE- LIKE SHAPE. WERE OPTIMAL CONDITIONS OF ADSORPTION: PH=7, 250 RPM: ROTATING SPEED, 45 MIN: TIME, AND 0.1 G: ADSORBENT CONCENTRATION. NITRATE ADSORPTION ON CHLORIDE-LDH WAS WELL EXPLAINED WITH LONGMUIR MODEL WHICH IS OBVIOUS FROM HIGH VALUES OF R2. THIS MATERIAL COULD ADSORB NITRATE FROM AQUATIC SOLUTIONS EFFICIENTLY.

SEVERAL STUDIES HAVE STUDIED METADISCOURSE FROM THE DESCRIPTIVE AND CONTRASTIVE PERSPECTIVES, THERE IS A LACK OF EXPERIMENTAL WORK ON THIS TOPIC. THEREFORE, MORPHING OF FINS COULD BE USED AS A TOOL TO CHANGE THE AMOUNT OF HEAT TRANSFER AND FUNCTIONALITY OF FINS AT WILL. A POWERFUL AND FEASIBLE WAY TO PROVIDE THE FORCE NEEDED TO DEFORM THE FINS, IS USING STRAIN-RECOVERING METALLIC ALLOYS. IN THIS PAPER, A MODEL OF A TUBE WITH THREE ATTACHED ANNULAR FINS, IS CREATED AND NUMERICAL ANALYSIS IS PERFORMED ON THIS MODEL IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE FUNCTIONALITY OF FINS. THE NUMERICAL SIMULATION INCLUDES STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS, THERMAL ANALYSIS AND MODAL ANALYSIS. BY STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS, IT IS CONFIRMED THAT MORPHING OF FINS (WHICH IS PROVIDED BY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FORCE) WILL NOT RESULT IN FAILURE. IN ORDER TO INVESTIGATE THERMAL FUNCTIONALITY OF FINS, THERMAL ANALYSIS IS PERFORMED ON BOTH DEFORMED AND NON-DEFORMED STATES OF THE STRUCTURE. ALSO, MODAL ANALYSIS IS USED TO DETERMINE THE NATURAL FREQUENCIES AND MODE SHAPES OF THE STRUCTURE AND THEIR VARIATIONS RELEVANT TO DEFORMATION. Abstract: 

MUSEUMS THAT ARE BRIMFUL OF PRECIOUS CULTURAL TREASURES AND INDICATE THE IDENTITY OF A SOCIETY REFLECT HUMAN THOUGHT AND ARTISTIC CREATIVITY DURING DIFFERENT GENERATIONS AND CAN CONVEY CONCEPTS TO VISITORS THROUGH ITS PUBLIC DISPLAYS. WITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE MUSEUMS CAN ENRICH THE CULTURE OF A COUNTRY YOUNG COMMUNITY, THIS STUDY HAS TRIED TO TARGET ITS RESEARCH TO INVESTIGATE WAYS TO IMPROVE THE DESIGN OF THE CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM IN MAZANDARAN. THEREFORE, USING THE SPSS SOFTWARE SAMPLE SIZE WAS ESTIMATED 384 BASED ON MORGAN TABLE, AMONG WHICH 55.7% WERE MEN AND 44.3% WERE WOMEN. ACCORDING TO THE SIGNIFICANCE LEVEL THAT WAS LESS THAN 0.05, THE FREQUENCY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO GROUPS OF RESPONSES TURNED OUT TO BE SIGNIFICANT AT 99%. SO THE ASSUMPTION THAT QUALITATIVE FACTORS SUCH AS (AESTHETIC STYLE DESIGNED FOR THE SET, EASY ACCESS TO THE COLLECTIONS AND AVAILABILITY OF EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES) COMPARED TO INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIAL FACTORS SUCH AS (USERS' CULTURAL AND SOCIAL CONDITIONS, VISITORS' ECONOMIC SITUATION, THE SENSE OF PEACE CREATED BY THE PRESENCE OF PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING, ETC.) HAVE A GREATER IMPACT ON THE CATEGORY OF VISITING A MUSEUM IS ACCEPTED.

BACKGROUND: LARON SYNDROME, IS A DISEASE THAT TREATED BY IGF-1. THIS PROTEIN IS A SINGLE CHAIN AND HAS THREE DISULFIDE BONDS. PEOPLE WITH LARON SYNDROME HAVE LOW RATES OF CANCER AND DIABETES, ALTHOUGH THEY APPEAR TO BE AT INCREASED RISK OF CASUAL DEATH DUE TO THEIR STATURE. IGF-1 IS SYNTHESIZED BY MANY TISSUES AND IS SECRETED FROM LIVER AS AN ENDOCRINE HORMONE WHICH IS TRANSMITTED TO OTHER TISSUES. IGF-1 IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CELL DIFFERENTIATION, TRANSFORMATION, SUPPRESSION OF APOPTOSIS, CELL CYCLE PROGRESSION, CELL PROLIFERATION AND DIFFERENTIATION. EXPRESSION SYSTEM, THE IGF-1 GENE, CODON ADAPTATION INDEX (CAI) AND GC CONTENTS ARE VERY CRITICAL FOR THE LARGE SCALE PRODUCTION OF THIS PROTEIN. CURRENT STUDY WAS AIMED TO OPTIMIZATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF HUMAN INSULIN-LIKE GROWTH FACTOR 1 GENE IN E. COLI DH5Α.MATERIAL AND METHODS: WE USED DNA2 AND PROTPARAM SOFTWARES FOR DESIGNING THE BEST FORM TO PRODUCE IGF-1. FIRST THE CODING SEQUENCE WAS VERIFIED AND THEN SYNTHESIZED. FOR CONFIRMATION OF THE PUC18-IGF-1, SEQUENCING TEST WAS CARRIED OUT USING M13 REVERSE PRIMER. FINALLY IT WAS INSERTED INTO THE CLONING SITE OF PUC18.VECTOR.RESULTS: AFTER CODING OPTIMIZATION, THE CAI RATE WAS INCREASED FROM 84 % TO 90% AND GC CONTENT FROM 55.07 % TO 56.62%. THE PRESENCE OF THE BAND NEAR 225BP RESULTED FROM ENZYMATIC DIGESTION WITH TWO RESTRICTION ENZYMES DEMONSTRATES THE CORRECT CLONING OF THE RECOMBINANT VECTORS IN THE CLONING SITE OF PUC18 CLONING VECTOR.CONCLUSION: ACCORDING TO SOFTWARE AND EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS, THE DESIGNED SEQUENCE PROBABLY IN THE BEST FORM COULD BE USED FOR PRODUCTION OF RECOMBINANT PROTEIN.

ALTHOUGH RESEARCH ON THE EFFECT OF ETYMOLOGICAL ELABORATION ON L2 IDIOM ACQUISITION HAS SHOWED THAT IT IS A USEFUL MNEMONIC APPROACH THAT CAN HELP L2 LEARNERS RETAIN TARGET IDIOMS (BOERS, DEMECHELEER, EYCKMANS, 2000, 2004, 2007), MOST PREVIOUS STUDIES WERE CONDUCTED IN A PENCIL AND PAPER BASED SITUATION AND FEW MADE USE OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY AND INTERNET AS A VEHICLE TO DELIVER SUCH AN INSTRUCTIONAL APPROACH. THE PRESENT STUDY ENDEAVORS TO INVESTIGATE THE IMPACT OF VISUAL AND ETYMOLOGICAL TREATMENTS ON LEARNING IDIOMS AMONG ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS. SIXTY INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS AT ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY IN TONEKABON WERE SELECTED FROM AMONG A TOTAL NUMBER OF 75 LEARNERS BASED ON THEIR PERFORMANCES ON THE LONGMAN COMPLETE COURSE FOR THE TOEFL TEST TO FULFILL THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY. THE STUDENTS WERE THEN ASSIGNED INTO AN EXPERIMENTAL GROUP AND A CONTROL GROUP. INITIALLY, A PRE-TEST OF IDIOMATIC EXPRESSIONS INCLUDING 48 IDIOMATIC ITEMS WAS ADMINISTERED TO THE PARTICIPANTS IN ALL GROUPS. DURING THE INSTRUCTIONAL PERIOD, THE EXPERIMENTAL GROUP WAS TAUGHT A GROUP OF ABNORMALLY DECOMPOSABLE IDIOMS THROUGH DIFFERENT TREATMENTS ELABORATION. AT THE END OF THE INSTRUCTIONAL PERIOD, THE PARTICIPANTS IN ALL GROUPS WERE GIVEN A POSTTEST WHICH WAS THE SAME AS THE PRETEST. THE DESIGN OF THIS STUDY IS QUASI-EXPERIMENTAL. THIS RESEARCH UTILIZED LOGISTIC SMOOTH TRANSITION REGRESSION (LSTR) MODEL WITH THE WORLD MARKET RETURN AS THE TRANSITION VARIABLES FOR SMOOTH ASYMMETRIC RESPONSE OF JAPANESE STOCK RETURNS (NIKKEI). THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT THE IMPORTANT FACTOR IN DETERMINING THE ASYMMETRIC BEHAVIOR OF JAPAN’S STOCK RETURNS WAS US STOCK RETURNS (S& P500). FURTHERMORE, STOCKS RETURNS WERE FOUND TO STAY LONGER IN THE UP-MARKET THAN IN THE DOWN-MARKET, THEREFORE IT WAS RISKIER FOR INVESTORS TO KEEP PORTFOLIOS WHEN THE MARKET WAS AT BULL PHASE. IN THIS RESPECT, THE RESULTS FURTHER INDICATED THAT, JAPAN WAS ABLE TO RECOVER QUICKLY FROM THE EFFECT OF THE SHOCKS.

CHANGE IN BODY WEIGHT, SURVIVAL TIME, ASCITES FLUID VOLUME AND PACKED CELL VOLUME WERE NOTED. AT THE END OF STUDY, 6 ANIMALS FROM EACH GROUP WERE SACRIFICED, BLOOD SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED AND WBC, RBC, HB CONTENT WERE ESTIMATED. ETHANOL EXTRACT OF COMBINATION OF ZIZIPHUS MAURITIANA AND PUNICA GRANTUM SHOWED SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN BODY WEIGHT, TUMOR VOLUME, PACKED CELL VOLUME AND PERCENTAGE INCREASE IN LIFE SPAN. SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN RBC, HB CONTENT AND REDUCTION IN WBC COUNT WERE OBSERVED. THE RESULTS SUGGEST THAT THE ETHANOL EXTRACT OF COMBINATION OF ZIZIPHUS MAURITIANA AND PUNICA GRANTUM EXHIBITED SIGNIFICANT ANTICANCER ACTIVITY (R<0.001).

Abstract: 

THE CRUTCH IS AN AMBULATORY DEVICE WHICH IS USES TO IMPROVE MOBILITY, MAINTAIN BALANCE, INCREASE SELF-CONFIDENCE AND PREVENT TO FALLS IN DISABLE AND ELDER PEOPLE. ALTHOUGH THE CRUTCH OFFERS PHYSIOLOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ADVANTAGES FOR USERS BUT IT CAN LED TO MANY DIFFICULTIES AND COMPLICATIONS EVEN IN AXILLARY TYPES WHICH ARE MORE COMFORT AND SAFE. LARGE FORCE WHICH INDUCED FROM LONG-TERM APPLICATION OF AXILLARY CRUTCHES MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO THE ELBOW AND SHOULDER JOINTS AND LED TO PAIN, IRRITATION AND INJURY. SO, THIS STUDY AIMED TO DESIGNING AND CONSTRUCTING OF AXILLARY SPRINGY CRUTCH FOR EASIER WALKING OF DISABLE AND ELDER PEOPLE. THE USING OF SPRING FOR ITS UNIQUE FEATURE AND CAPABILITY TO ENERGY CONSERVATION IS COMMON IN HUMAN AND DEVICES MOBILITY. IT SEEMS THAT USING SPRING IN CRUTCH STRUCTURE ESPECIALLY IN AXILLARY CRUTCH CAN LED TO ITS LESS ENERGY EXHAUSTING, MORE COMFORTABLY AND SAFETY, AND FEWER COMPLICATIONS FOR ITS USERS DURING ITS APPLICATION. THUS, DUE TO THE CONSIDERABLE TRAIT, USER-FRIENDLY AND HIGH COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF SUCH CRUTCH, THE RESEARCHERS OF THIS STUDY ARE STRONGLY SUGGESTING ITS USE IN DISABLED AND ELDER PEOPLE FOR BETTER DAILY QUALITY OF LIFE AND MORE PLEASURE.

Abstract: 

THE CORROSION OF STEEL REINFORCEMENT IN CONCRETE STRUCTURES IS ONE OF THE MAJOR CHALLENGES FACING THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. FIBER-REINFORCED POLYMER (FRP) BARS HAVE LOWER WEIGHT AND LOWER MODULUS OF ELASTICITY, BUT THEY USUALLY PROVIDE HIGHER TENSILE STRENGTH AND DURABILITY THAN STEEL. ON THE OTHER HAND, FRP HAS DISADVANTAGES, FOR INSTANCE: NO YIELDING BEFORE BRITTLE RUPTURE AND LOW TRANSVERSE STRENGTH. THEREFORE, THE RESPONSE OF CONCRETE BEAMS REINFORCED WITH FRP BARS NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED IN DETAILS TO EVALUATE THE AVAILABLE DESIGN EQUATIONS AND CONTROL LIMITS. THE CURRENT STUDY HAS INVESTIGATED THE FLEXURAL PERFORMANCE OF FRP REINFORCED CONCRETE (RC) BEAMS USING FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS. AFTER VALIDATING THE NUMERICAL MODEL AGAINST AVAILABLE TEST DATA FROM THE LITERATURE, A SERIES OF SIXTEEN FRP REINFORCED RC BEAMS HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AND ANALYZED IN ABAQUS SOFTWARE, TO INVESTIGATE THE BEAMS’ FLEXURAL RESPONSES IN FOUR NODE BENDING TEST. THE RESULTS FROM THE NUMERICAL ANALYSES ARE COMPARED WITH THE EQUATIONS PROPOSED BY ACI-440, CSA S806 AND ISIS GUIDELINE TO SEE CAPABILITY OF THE PROPOSED EQUATIONS IN ESTIMATING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE RC BEAMS. IT WAS FOUND THAT THE RESULTS CALCULATED BASED ON THE CANADIAN CODES EQUATIONS WERE MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN THE EQUATIONS PROPOSED BY THE ACI CODES FOR THE DEFLECTION OF FRP REINFORCED BEAMS.
