Basidiocarps of species of Armillaria, Russula, Lactarius and Agaricus with fungal infection were collected from different regions of Iran. Portions of infected carpophores, were taken and cultured on PDA, PCA and MEA. Fungicolous isolates
were identified on the basis of morphological characters such as: color and shape of colony, morphology and branching of conidiophores, manner of proliferation of the conidiogenous cells, conidial size, septation and ontogeny and forms of chlamydospores. The isolates were identified as:
1. Cladobotryum polypori (Dearness & house) Rogerson & Samuels (Fig. 2)
From basidiocarp of Armillaria mellea, collected from Karaj, Tehran and basidiocarp of Lactarius vellerus, collected from Noor protected park, Mazandaran
province.
2. Cladobotryum varium Nees (Fig. 3)
From basidiocarp of Armillaria mellea, collected from Sisangan, Mazandaran
province.
3. Cladobotryum verticillatum (Link) S. J. Hughes (Fig. 4)
From carpophore of Russula sp., collected from Sisangan protected park,
Mazandaran province.
4. Cladobotryum dendroides (Bulliard) W. Gams & Hoozemans
From basidiocarp of Armillaria mellea, collected from Khosro-Shahr, E. Azarbaijan province, and Agaricus bisporus, collected from Karaj, Tehran province.
