چکیده: 

The one-dimensional hollow cylindrical carbon nanotube nanostructure has been crucial in advancing nanotechnology since its discovery. Carbon nanotubes have been utilized in technical fields both in their pristine form and as nanocomposites. They have been combined with various conductive and non-conductive matrices based on specific end goals. In sensing technology, remarkable progress has been made in the development of multifunctional carbon nanotube nanocomposites. Common matrices used in this context include conjugated polymers such as poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): polystyrene sulfonic acid, polyaniline, etc., along with thermoplastics like polyamide, polyurethane, etc. Within these matrices, carbon nanotubes can establish a percolation network for electron or charge transport and can also create interfacial interactions to enhance compatibility, stability, and durability. The sensing capabilities of the resulting carbon nanotube nanocomposites are influenced by their interactions with the analyte, whether it be gases/ions, biomolecules, or motion. As a result, nanocomposites have been employed in the creation of effective gas sensors, strain sensors, and biosensors. The performance of carbon nanotube sensors has been evaluated based on factors such as sensitivity, selectivity, detection limit, reproducibility, and responses to analytes.

چکیده: 

Nanocomposite of clay-carbon nanotubes (CNTs) is prepared by using carboxyl-modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes and amino-functionalized organophilic montmorillonite (clay). The nanocomposite is characterized by scanning electron microscopy to evaluate the morphology. The findings show uniform dispersion of CNTs.

ADDING OF NANO-PARTICLES IN POLYMERIC MEMBRANES CAN MAKE INCREASE IN PENETRANTS SORPTION AND MAKES DECREASE IN DIFFUSION COEFFICIENT OF THE MEMBRANE. THE AMOUNT OF SORPTION IS DEPENDENT ON THE PENETRANTS CONDENSABLITY AND NANO-PARTICLE TYPES. IN THIS PAPER, THE MOST FAMOUS PERMEATION MODEL FOR NANOCOMPOSITE POLYMERIC MEMBRANES FILLED WITH IMPERMEABLE PARTICLES ARE DISCUSSED AND A WAY FOR EMBEDDING SORPTION EFFECT IN GAS PERMEATION MODELS OF NANOCOMPOSITE MEMBRANES IS INTRODUCED. THEN A NEW MODEL IS PROPOSED THAT OFFERS GOOD PREDICTION FOR A KIND OF NANOCOMPOSITE MEMBRANE.

BACKGROUND: PORPHYRIN DERIVATIVES PRESENT IN ALL LIVING SYSTEMS OF BIO CHEMISTRY. THEY FORM THE MAIN STRUCTURE OF PIGMENTS LIKE CHLOROPHYLL AND HEME, WHICH INVOLVE IN IMPORTANT PROCESSES OF LIFE. POLYPROPYLENE (PP)/ORGANO MODIFIED MONTMORILLONITE (OMMT) COMPOSITES WERE PREPARED VIA SOLUTION INTERCALATION METHOD. THE CLAY DISPERSION WAS INVESTIGATED USING WIDE ANGLE X-RAY DIFFRACTION. THE INTERCALATION OF PP CHAINS IN CLAY SHEETS WAS INVESTIGATED IN TWO DIFFERENT PROCESSING METHODS (SOLUTION INTERCALATION AND MELT INTERCALATION). IT CAN BE CONCLUDED THAT OBTAINING INTERCALATED OR EXFOLIATED STRUCTURE VIA SOLUTION INTERCALATION METHOD IS EASIER THAN MELT INTERCALATION METHOD.
