PVA ELECTROSPUN NANOFIBERS HAVE VARIOUS ADVANTAGES FOR A WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS. NANOCOMPOSITES BASED ON PVA CONTAINING TiO2 nanoparticles ENHANCE SOME OF PURE PVA PROPERTIES. IN THIS WORK, PVA AND PVA/TiO2 ELECTROSPUN NANOCOMPOSITE SCAFFOLDS WERE FABRICATED BY ADJUSTMENT THE PROCESS CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO OBTAIN UNIFORM NANOFIBERS WITH A DIAMETER LESS THAN 100 NM. THE MORPHOLOGY OF PREPARED SCAFFOLD WAS EXAMINED BY SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT AS THE AMOUNT OF TiO2 nanoparticles LOADED IN PVA INCREASED FROM ZERO TO 1WT%, THE DIAMETER OF NANOFIBERS INCREASED FROM 85±5NM TO 105±5NM, RESPECTIVELY.
