Purpose: The flourishing of political parties and currents is one of the signs of the degree of development in societies. In contemporary iran and since the formation of the constitutional movement, political currents have gone through many ups and downs and it can be said that political currents in iran after the islamic revolution have not yet reached the stage of institutionalization and stability. A characteristic feature of political currents in iran is the divergence and division among political currents in recent decades, and this can be one of the reasons for the instability and cross-sectional and seasonal activity of political parties in iran. Therefore, the necessity of leading research seeks to answer the question of how factors and divergence among political currents in iran after the victory of the islamic revolution can be analyzed? And what are the scenarios for the advancement of political currents in iran?Method: To answer this question, the method of causal-layer analysis, which is one of the qualitative methods in futures research, has been used.Findings: The research findings indicate that this divergence is due to a wide range of reasons from the level of causal systems (from the institutionalization of power to the formation of parties as elitist initiatives), worldview and discourse (from charismatic political authority to culture). Subsidiary-follower politics to myth-metaphor (iranian individualism to belief in a strong state-weak society) can be analyzed.Conclusions: Three scenarios for the future of iranian political currents can be considered: integration of currents as the security valve of the political system, the collapse of political currents in the traditional form, integration and consolidation in new social movements (virtualized parties).

In an effort to present a new analysis of the islamic revolution, the question ascends as to whether the islamic revolution can be considered a freedom or emancipation-seeking revolution? It is assumed that the islamic revolution was the renaissance of the iranian nation to raise the cause of freedom, and emancipation in both two positive and negative aspects has been expressed. The present research is carried out in a descriptive-analytical manner and its findings show that the islamic revolution of iran has mainly focused on four major issues (negative liberty); domestic tyranny, foreign dominance, anti-Islam measures of the Shah's regime and economic decline, and the threat to people's livelihoods. On the contrary, this revolution has articulated the favorable response to these issues (positive liberty) by establishing and realizing values such as religious democracy, freedom, efforts to preserve independence and national sovereignty, as well as efficiency with an emphasis on justice and deprivation.

Most of revolution theories have tried to provide general framework for the revolution analysis while each revolution has got its unique attribute. As well as these theories have been developed mainly based on Cartesian- Newtonian thinking which is useful for simple problems but the revolution is a result of complex social system. iran’s 1979 revolution is the one of most important revolutions in the world which has challenged the reductionism approaches. With this assumption, this paper tries to re-answer the question “why the iran’s 1979 revolution has happened?” based on holistic (system) approach and system dynamics methodology. Identification of problem’s structure is essential to explain and analyze the revolution. System dynamics methodology introduces proper tools for this purpose. According to system approach, social system problems such as revolution come from conflicting and incompatible relationships between system components. In this paper social system has been identified base on interactions between three sub-systems: economic, politic, and culture. So iran’s 1979 revolution has been studied from three perspectives. Causal loop diagrams as suitable operational tools were used for modeling the integrations between these perspectives. A dynamic hypothesis as a theory of iran’s 1979 revolution based on previous theories was recognized by these diagrams.

This article using this method, is going to Compare islamic revolution of iran (1979) & Jan. 25th revolution in Egypt, and assumes that without such an analysis, it’s not possible to understand & explain Egypt revolution. Theoretical Background of article is theory of Political opportunity from sociological framework for analysis of social movements. By Application of these theories, author argues that islamic revolution of iran, provided a suitable political opportunity for revolutionary movement in Egypt & decrees as its costs & length in the way to victory. But Mubarak Regime, Egypt military forces & U.S. by learning from iran’s revolution, try their best to limit political opportunities for Islamists to conquer the whole political sphere of Egypt & manage the transition from Social Islamism toward Political Islamism.

This article tries to find out the role of iran in the formation of Hezbollah in Lebanon. To this end, all the factors and grounds influential in the formation of this fraction have been studied and analyzed. Finally iran’s role as the main factor has been studied as well.

"Organization" is among the most important factors exerting impact on the reduction of the power of the previous regime and empowerment of revolutionaries and finally power transition and the victory of islamic revolution. Therefore it has been considered and highlighted by some theorists of the revolution. This group of theorists insists on rational aspects and components in the process of revolution and considers "organization" as an instance of rational action. This article tries to study "organization" in the islamic revolution. For this end in the theoretical level, after exploration and re-identification of different aspects of this concept in Charles Tilly and Ted Robert Gurr's theory, a conceptual model of organization has been outlined with an integrative approach. Based on documentary research and in line with the proposed model, instances and evidences have been provided for the realities of iranian revolution on the empirical level.

The process of development in iran after islamic revolution, despite of its specifications, is regarded part of the development efforts in iran's recent history. There is no doubt that developing plans in this period have mainly been inspired by internal necessities and changes. However, pressures due to international changes, such as globalization, should not be ignored. The period has gone through many ups and downs and the. article tries to illuminate these changes.

This paper is an attempt to study some of the explanations of the islamic revolution of iran, including explanations based on the theories of mass society, modern world system, rapid modernization, uneven development, personalized state power structure, the weakness of the state repressive apparatus, the vulnerability of the rentier state, discourse analysis, and gnostical theories..For this purpose first, the theoretical framework and the main questions and hypothes, s of these works have been introduced. In the next step, the explanations of the islamic revolution of iran on the basis of these frameworks have been elaborated and criticized.
