Abstract

SAINFOIN (Onobrychis sativa) is one of the important perennial legumes in dry farming areas of Kurdistan province. This experiment carried out in order to study effects of SEED and fertilizer rates on forage YIELD of SAINFOIN under dry farming area. Three levels of phosphorus (0, 10, 20 Kg/ ha P205)and 4 SEED rates (10, 20, 30, 40 Kg/ha) were used as treatments in split plot design with 4 replications. Saral research station in Divandareh of Kurdistan.Results showed that phosphorus levels have not significant differences on the forage YIELDs. SEED rates of 40 and 30 K/gh with 1480 and 1412 Kg/ha forage YIELDs, were suprior and advisable treatments for this area .
