INVESTIGATION OF A STATISTICAL, ANALYSIS METHOD OF CLIMATE ON THE BASIS OF ACI STATISTICAL INDEX CALCULATION IN CENTRAL BASIN OF IRAN

Abstract

 The recognition at climatie index from climate at proposition are very complex and different and complex comparing to humanity Indexes. This investigation is a monitoring for assessment of aridity degree intensity and estimation of its extent by application of meteorological data located in central basin of Iran. This study has obtained a modelling under the title: "Aridity climatic index", by collection, communication, preparation, correlation, regression line, data generation, and components analysis of meteorological information. This index that is one method for adopting a criteria to assess of climatic desertify phenomenon, used about 35 meteorological stations that have 40 years of service. This index indicates aridity or humidity degree intensity in all studied stations. Based on this index, and its diagrams indicate that in climatic respect, central basin of Iran, intend to arid. In this respect, statistics of the past 40 years, from 1957 to 1996, were extracted for the 35 stations on this location. Climatic parameters which were studied in selected meteorological stations consist of monthly precipitation, maximum daily precipitation, monthly maximum temperature average, monthly minimum temperature average, absolute maximum temperature, absolute minimum temperature. In order o determine an appropriate index for meauring aridity and humidity intensity, has been chosen one model namely standard z score, after calculating all the results. The whole of Z score counted and divided into their numbers. The calculated results which can indicate aridity and humidity intensity degrees are under the title: ARIDITY CLIMATIC INDEXes (ACI) has been interpreted aridity process in terms of 40 years for 35 stations of this area, by graphs drawing. On the other hand, for "ACI" indexes calculated - 10 years moving averages and has been shwn in its graphs. Thus, two types of graphs were drawn for every station. First "ACI" index time series and also 10 years moving average of "ACI" index. These diagrams have been drawn on the basis of coefficient correlation and regrresion equations. This model shows climatic effects on desertification and it is one of the most suitable criteria for determining the aridity and humidity intensity.
