EFFECT OF BARVAR-2 PHOSPHATE BIOFERTILIZER ON YIELD AND YIELD COMPONENTS OF POTATO VARIETIES IN CHALDRAN

Abstract

 To study the effect of BARVAR-2 PHOSPHATE BIOFERTILIZER on the yield and yield components of POTATO varieties of Mardona, Agria and Marphona, an experiment was carried out at the Chaldran region, Iran, during 2006. The treatments were arranged in factorial experiment with two factors in randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The three varieties of Mardona, Agria and Marphona were considered as an A factor and 100, 200 grams per hectare, of BARVAR-2 PHOSPHATE BIOFERTILIZER with control treatment was evaluated as a B factor. The results showed that control treatment in comparison with biofertilizer had the lowest number of leaves, plant height, number of branching in plant, biggest and smallest tubular diameter, number of tubers per plant, weight of tuber of single plant and tuber yield lowest prosper and consumption of 100 gram treatment, BARVAR-2 PHOSPHATE BIOFERTILIZER in the whole of characters (except biggest tuber diameter and average of tuber weight in single plant) in the lower levels toward treatment attendance 200 grams BARVAR-2 PHOSPHATE BIOFERTILIZER were placed. Control treatment with tuber yield of 29630 kilogram per hectare toward treatment levels 100 and 200 grams manure per hectare had respectively reduced function equal to 22 and 31 percent. In different varieties, Marphona was measured in complete characteristics (except plant height) it was the highest in the group. Of mutual effects only the plant height had meaningful difference. However, so that, Agria variety by using of 200 grams manure per Hectare had most plant height and Marphona which did not use fertilizer had lowest height as compared with other treatments. The results attained of the experiment emphasize the use of biofertilizer to increase of yield.
