Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the COTTON FARMERS’ EDUCATIONAL NEEDS based on perception of EXTENSION AGENTS in the SEMNAN PROVINCE. The research design was a descriptive and correlation surveying method. EXTENSION AGENTS in SEMNAN PROVINCE were the target population for this study (n= 45). The five factors were the training farmers about disease, weed and irrigation; land preparation; chemical inputs; chemical hormones; preserving of crops and biological methods in combating pests. The results obtained from the factors analysis revealed that the six factors explain 75% the variation of the COTTON FARMERS’ EDUCATIONAL NEEDS.
