Abstract

The aim of this study was barriers effective the use of SOLAR ENERGY from the view of GREENHOUSE OWNERS IN TEHRAN AND ALBORZ Provinces.This is an applied type research and descriptive/ correlation method was used.The population included greenhouse owners of Tehran and Alborz Provinces. A stratified random was used and 327 of them selected through Cochran formula. To collect information a questionnaire developed. The gathered information processed and analyzed by using SPSS and Winbugs software. The results showed that lack of awareness of managers about benefits of SOLAR ENERGY use in greenhouses, lack of training about need assessment by greenhouse owner and lack of participation by researchers and agents were considered as the main barriers in application of SOLAR ENERGY.
