Abstract

The present study intends to determine the appropriate GOALS and STRATEGIES required for application of INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY in the development of the AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION in IRAN. The geographical area of the study is at the national level which has been conducted through simple relative random sampling in six adjacent provinces of the country. The research method is correlative and the statistical population consists of the faculty members of AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION and education departments of IRANian universities, managers and AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION specialists. Finally, the appropriate GOALS and STRATEGIES required for the application of INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY in the development of the AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION in IRAN have been determine through multiple regression method.
