Abstract

During 2009-2010, A study was carried out to collect and identify the mites of the suborder PROSTIGMATA in south of Kamfiruz region (Fars province).A new species of ADAMYSTIS Cunliffe, 1957, in the family ADAMYSTIDAE was collected and identified. Record of this family and genus is new to the mites' fauna of IRAN.
