Abstract

The main purpose of this research was to study the effect of LEARNING ORIENTATION and WORK PASSION on AGRICULTURAL STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION. The statistical population consisted of all M.Sc. students in agriculture faculty of Zanjan University in 2015- 2016 academic year (N=489). According to Bartlett table, a sample size of 220 was determined and randomly selected using a stratified sampling method with proportional allocation (n=220). Data were collected using the standard questionnaires (after adjusting the questions with the field of research). Content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of experts. Construct validity and composite reliability of the research instrument were tested by estimating the measurement model and sustained after making necessary corrections. The data were processed using SPSSwin20 and AMOS20, then analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results indicated that majority of students’ ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION was at low and medium levels.Also, the results showed that LEARNING ORIENTATION and WORK PASSION had a positive and significant effect on students’ ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION explaining about 61 percent of its variances.
