Abstract

In this study effect of water soluble fraction of CRUDE OIL on CATALASE and SUPER OXIDE DISMUTASE enzymes concentration in juvenile beluga (Huso huso) weighting 10.76±0.23 g was assessed. Firstly, the 96LC50 value of water soluble fraction of CRUDE OIL was calculated and then the control group and 3 treatments were choosed in lower concentrations (0.4 LC50, 0.6 LC50, 0.8 LC50) than the 96LC50. Each experimental group had 3 replicates. During the experiments physical and chemical factors of water were measured and in each 24h the liver were sampled and enzymes concentrations were calculated. As the result, the CATALASE enzyme concentration showed different signification between all treatments and control. Even in fourth day significant difference between all treatments and increase of this enzyme was observed (p<0.05). The 0.4 LC50 treatment in first time of sampling (24h) was the only exception and didn’t show any significant difference with control (p>0.05). The SUPER OXIDE DISMUTASE enzyme concentration in fourth day showed significant difference between all treatments with control (p<0.05). In all experimental days maximum average of SUPER OXIDE DISMUTASE enzyme was observed in 0.8 LC50 treatment. However as the results of regression test there were no correlation between the oil pollution dosage and the enzymes concentration changes, neither the enzymes with themselves.
