Abstract

This survey conduct to evaluated some GROWTH PERFORMANCE of juvenile 180 number COMMON CARP (Cyprinus carpio) (27±3gr) by using (0, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 gr) of ZINGIBER OFFICINALE POWDER in per 100 gram their commercial diet. Fish fed 3% body weight till one month twice a day. At last, results shown significant difference between treatments in fish Gain weight (GW), Average of daily growth rate (ADG), Food concentration ratio (FCR), Condition factor (CF), Protein efficiency ratio (PER) and protein intake (PI) (p<0.05). There is no significant difference between ginger treatments and control group despite of increasing Fish final weight (FW) (p>0.05). Showed these differ between them in Gain weight percent (GW %), SGR, Food efficiency percent (FE %), food intake (FI) and survival rate (SR) too. Furthermore, ginger consumption cause to increasing the toothbrush activities of gut wall and accelerate the ingestion and digestion of crap extrude diet. Probably, for short term study, it could be increasing the juvenile carp GROWTH PERFORMANCE and kept their (100%) survive.
