Abstract

In this survey seven species of the genus HAPLOTHRIPS, namely H aculeatus, H jlavitibia, H.niger, H reuteri, H subtilissimus, H tolerabilis and H tritici were collected and identified. The species H subtilissimus is reported for the first time from Iran. All species except H tritici are new records for fauna of Fars province. This research includes a method for taxonomic study of thrips; identification key for the species of HAPLOTHRIPS, host plants, altitudes, dates and locations for each species.
