Abstract

ANAGRUS ALOMUS (L.), an egg parasitoid of GRAPE LEAFHOPPER ARBORIDIA KERMANSHAH Del. was reported trom ISFAHAN, Iran, and, morphological characteristics of egg, larvae, pupa and adult parasitoid were studied. Adult is light brown in general, female is 524±17.64 and male 522.8 ±14/lm in length. A hairless discal area in forwing, female antennal club with three sensory ridges. Eggs are ellipsoid with a long slender peduncle. Their size are variable with an average of 102.24±17.44 µm. 36.4±10.96 eggs counted per female. First instar larva with unregimented body is sacciform and inactive, and average length of 203.33±16.49 µm. Later larval instars are cylindrical with slender and curved mandibles and six- segmented body. These larval instars are very active, with an average length of 369.17±40.04 in early stages to 581±42.82 µm in late stages, with color changes from milky to red. Female pupa is 580±16.49 and male 545.6±46.34 µm, with red-dark pigmented body, black eyes, and visible body appendages. Other characters and figures of all stages are presented as well.
