THE MEDIATING OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS IN RELATION TO THE ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND QUALITY OF WORK LIFE OF REGION 2 OF SHIRAZ MUNICIPALITY

Abstract

 This research has been done to investigate the mediating role of PROFESSIONAL ETHICS in respect of ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE and quality of working life of Municipality of Shiraz Region 2. the research method was descriptive survey. Based on purpose, it was applied. The population of the study was all staff members of the Municipality about 250 persons.148 persons were selected by Morgan table. They were selected by simple stratified sampling. The research instrument for collecting data were WORKING LIFE QUALITY questionnaire {Ghasemzadeh}. ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE (Lyle Sasman& Sam Dip) and PROFESSIONAL ETHICS (Marzban) Descriptive statistics (median, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient, the multiple regression path analysis using Baron and Kenny) were used to collect data by SPSS software. The result showed that there is a significant relationship between Evolution aspects and the development of the PROFESSIONAL ETHICS. There is a significant relationship between satisfaction, agreement on procedures from ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE aspects and effectiveness of communication with WORKING LIFE QUALITY. The PROFESSIONAL ETHICS had the significant mediating role in respect of ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE and the staff WORKING LIFE QUALITY.
