This is a very typical and unique case of traumatic occipital artery aneurysm, which was presented by para-mastoid mass. This young girl is a case of grandmal seizure following neonatal gram-negative meningo encephalitis.
History of usage of the anticonvalsant drugs, eg: carbamazepin and sodium valproate for more than eight years period is obvious seizure activity was under controlled except last episode (2 months pre-admission). Minor head injury following this episode improved by 48 hours hospitalization. Growing mass on left post-auricular region was operated on. According to clinicopathological data aneurysm was identified.
This is very rare case. Interesting surgery is described.
