Purpose: The purpose of this article is to review the progress of audit research from the beginning to 2020. Methods: The main research method of this article is bibliometric analysis and social network analysis which studies the characteristics of published articles such as authors, countries, topics, etc. The sample of this research is 8357 articles in the field of auditing indexed in the Web of science database from 2020 to the beginning. Results: The results show that the general trend of publication of articles is ascending and the highest number of articles is published in 2018. The most frequently used words are: audit quality, audit committee, audit fees, internal audit, auditor independence, auditing standards, audit risk, internal control, and non-audit services. The most cited article is an article entitled "Managing Profits and Characteristics of Board Members and Audit Committees" published in 2002. The US is among the most active publishers in the field. Conclusion: The evolution of keywords can be divided into 4 categories: 1) Auditor characteristics and audit methods 2) Judge's report and report 3) Auditors' role being enhanced and their attention 4) Increased audit quality and Accountability of auditors and managers as well as increased scope for nonfinancial reporting. Contribution: There has been no comprehensive research on the research performed in the field of audit, the general trend of recent developments and future research directions.

Purpose: Scientometrics is one of the most common tools for evaluating scientific publications. Traditional medicine is expanding day by day in developing countries as well as developed countries, and many researches have been done in the field of traditional medicine. The present study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the scientific publications of Iranian scientists in the field of traditional medicine. Materials and methods: The current research is of applied type and from the category of scientometric studies, which analyzed the scientific outputs of Iranian scientists in the field of traditional medicine. The research community included all the scientific outputs of Iranian scientists in the field of traditional medicine in the Web of Science database from the beginning to 2022. For data analysis, Heistsite, Excel, Babe Excel, and Gefi computing software were used, and for drawing maps, Voswe Oer software was used. Findings: Among the topics, traditional medicine is ranked first with a frequency of 269. Among writers, Kamalinejad is at the top with 56 works. Among the institutions, Tehran University of Medical Sciences ranks first with 302 works. Among the journals, JOURNAL OF ETHNOPHARMACOLOGY has the most number of works with 73 works. Analysis of subject knowledge map shows the formation of 8 subject clusters. Also, the keyword traditional medicine has the highest frequency. The results obtained in the cooperation of institutions, there are 99 institutions that form seven clusters. In the analysis of countries' cooperation, 31 countries have formed 5 clusters. Iran and America are in cluster 2 and Italy in cluster 4. Also, the amount of cooperation is evenly scattered, but the highest amount of cooperation between Iran and Italy was with 28 ties and America with 26 ties. In the analysis of authors, 141 authors formed 11 clusters. Meanwhile, Kamali Nejad is placed in cluster one with 48 degrees and 37 links. The results obtained from the centrality of the authors indicate that among the authors of traditional medicine, Kamalinejad, Choupani and Haji Mehdipour respectively have the degree centrality, Hosseini, Iranshahi and Salehi have the highest closeness centrality, Kamalinejad, Naseri and Abdulahi also have the highest centrality respectively. They have intermediate centrality. Conclusion: Scientific publications in the field of traditional medicine by Iranian scientists have undergone an upward growth trend in the last two decades and it is expected that this growth trend will continue. In the meantime, traditional medicine has been placed at the top of the subjects and is placed as a connecting subject between other subjects and is the connecting point of many subjects. Also, the studies related to the scientific productions of this field have investigated issues and topics related to traditional medicine. This research aims to provide knowledge while creating a comprehensive perspective for researchers in this field and help them in their research path.

The Scientific flow analysis plays a key role in identifying important research areas that reflect developments, challenges and solutions in a scientific field. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to identify the current research areas in management accounting in global research. This is a descriptive applied research that has been done by content analysis and scientometric method. The sample of this study is 6305 articles in the field of management accounting that are indexed on Web of Science database from beginning to 2019. Data analysis was performed using Vosviewer and overview softwares. The findings indicate that research in this field can be classified into 9 clusters: agency theory, corporate governance, performance evaluation, institutional theory, game theory, management control systems and capital budgeting. The evolution of key theories can also be classified into seven stages: (1) stewardship theory (2) structuration theory (3) contingency theory (4) representation theory (5) institutional theory (6) Transaction costs (7) Game theory (8) New institutional theory (9) Evolutionary game theory (10) Actor network theory.

The present study investigated the challenges of transliteration of Persian names to English ones, and the impact of these challenges on the recall of web of science’ s retrieved results. This study is applied in terms of objectives and quantitative (i. e., survey) in terms of data collection procedure. The population included the names of Iranian authors who had published an English article in Web of Science between 2010 and 2017. First of all, 3110873 names were retrieved. It was reduced to 11, 242 after homogenization process. Data was collected through Bibexcel and Excel software and Web of Science database. The findings showed that there were three types of challenges (i. e., vowels, consonants, and omitted or double consonants) in transliteration of Persian names to English ones. They resulted in non-homogenous and different written forms. In addition, the results of Chi-square test showed that the frequency of all forms of the mentioned challenges had a significant effect on the recall of the retrieved results. Considering the importance of retrieving the names in retrieval studies as well as research studies’ evaluation, some solutions such as using Boolean operators and wildcards between the prevailing typographical forms, creating Persian soundex, and equipping the database with the thesaurus are suggested.

Introduction: In recent years, the number of Iranian medical journals has been growing rapidly. These journals must observe the required criteria in order to be indexed in international indices. The aim of this study was to determine the compliance level of Iranian medical journals with indexing criteria of Web of Science (WOS).Methods: The bibliometric approach was used to conduct this descriptive-applied study. The study population included all 307 scientific journals approved by the Ministry of Health, but not indexed in WOS. The data collection tool was the inventory control extracted from WOS database. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS20 using descriptive statistics.Results: The lowest total score gained, by the journals surveyed, was 6 and the highest was 15. The most frequent journal (20.2 percent) gained 10. The average score in the journals surveyed was calculated 11.5 in terms of observing WOS criteria and the overall structural compliance of Iranian medical journals with structural indices of WOS was calculated 71.9 percent.Conclusion: In terms of observing the structural indicators of WOS, Iranian medical journals are in a satisfactory level; however, in terms of following standards of the international editorial statements, observing the international diversity of authors, mentioning the identifier code of digital resources and publishers, they are not desirable. Observing these criteria by journals may increase the chance of being indexed in WOS.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the scientific outputs of Iranian researchers in the field of computer engineering. Methodology: The present study is an applied scientometric research and has been done by documentary research method. The research population includes 32108 all scientific outputs of Iranian computer engineering researchers from 1985 to 2020 indexed in the Web of Science citation database. Findings: the findings showed that Islamic Azad universities and Amir Kabir University have the highest records in terms of science production in this field. A study of countries participating in Iranian scientific production in the field of computer engineering showed that the United States with 1548 records had the highest impact on Iranian production in this field. LECTURE NOTES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE was recognized as the most popular Iranian journal in the field of computer engineering. Also, most of Iran's scientific productions in the field of computer engineering have been done in the fields of engineering, telecommunications and mathematics. Conclustion: The results showed that the scientific output of Iran was increasing in the field of computer engineering. The results of the scientific cooperation of researchers showed that in the production of science related to this area, Iran has had a scientific cooperation with researchers from 100 countries, which is the highest participation level of cooperation with the United States, Canada and Australia. Researchers in the field of computer engineering have published their scientific products in 4835 different journals indexed in Web of Science databases. Also, according to the findings, it was found that Iran ranks 19th in the world in this area, which is a suitable position.

Scientific cooperation is an ongoing area of scientometric investigations that had been embraced by many researchers. International collaboration among scientists is an expanded form of scientific participation the importance and advantages of which has been corroborated by the investigations conducted. The present investigation was carried out in order to study collaboration between Iranian and ASEAN scientists. In the past 34 years, Iran had scientific collaboration with eight ASEAN countries with Malaysia standing out as principle collaborator. During the period studied, Iran-ASEAN collaboration had been on the rise. There had been a significantly positive correlation between scientific output in these countries with scientific collaboration with Iran. The highest number of coauthorships with ASEAN had been in chemistry. Shahid Beheshti University was the foremost Iranian institute of higher learning collaborating with ASEAN. Moustafa Amini had the highest coauthorships.

Background: The aim of this research was to analyze and illustrate scientific productions of Islamic Azad University researchers under title of Medical Sciences in Web of Science (WOS) data base. Materials and methods: The present study was a kind of applied scientific research which studied the quantitative performance of Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences in WOS database from beginning to 2018. Statistical population of this study was all scientific productions of Medical Sciences of Islamic Azad University (11155 records) in WOS database. Results: The first scientific output of medical sciences of Islamic Azad University was indexed in 1996 and the highest number of indexed output was in 2016. Kazem Parivar has been ranked the first among all researches and had the highest scientific collaboration was with the USA academic centers. The journal "African Journal of Biotechnology" was also recognized as the source of the medical science core of the Islamic Azad University on the Web of Science. The most frequently use key word was "Iran" and key words "Pharmaceutical Chemistry" and "Pharmacology and Pharmacy" had the most frequent synonyms. Finally, the keywords of Islamic Azad University's scientific productions in medical sciencesweare divided into 7 general clusters. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences researchers have been able to obtain the third rank among the medical universities of Iran with a good effort. But they have not used their potential to recognize Iran's progress in controlling the spread of communicable diseases worldwide.
