Performance evaluation is one of the important functions of human resource management in media organizations. Nowadays, it is very necessary to design and use a suitable performance evaluation system in organizations; Because it is one of the important tools for proper planning and management of resources, facilities and human resources of organizations and it also plays a special role in identifying competencies, strengths and weaknesses of managers.
Accurate recognition and evaluation of the performance of television network managers in Iran as leaders and guides of structures that are responsible for culture in society is based on valid, important and vital indicators. This research has been done with the aim of identifying performance evaluation indicators of television network managers of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In this regard, data collection was done by conducting interviews with 17 experts and specialists, and after coding the interviews, analyzing the data using thematic analysis technique. And drawing the network of themes was done. The results of the theme analysis process led to the identification of 136 key indicators for evaluating the performance of television network managers of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which were categorized into 24 organizing themes, and then the organizing themes were also divided into 6 overarching themes (general personal competencies dimension of the network manager, individual competencies dimension The specialty of the network manager, the operation management dimension in the network, the efficient entry into the virtual space and its correct management, and the outcome-oriented dimension) are categorized.
