Introduction: Academic faculty members need to emphasize ethical principles in order to improve higher education, with the understanding of this importance, the current research was conducted with the aim of designing the ethical model of academic faculty members in Iran's higher education. Material & Methods: This research is a type of qualitative study that uses foundational data theory. The participants, including experts and faculty members of the country's public universities, who were responsible for the promotion of academic members, were selected as key informants through a targeted sampling method of 45 people. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The reliability and validity of the data were obtained from the two methods of reviewing the participants and recoding by experts. Data were analyzed by open, central and selective coding. Results: The results showed that the moral model of faculty members in Iran's higher education is explained in 10 main categories and 27 subcategories. Major and core categories in the form of 6 dimensions of causal conditions including (individual factors, organizational factors), core (cultural-educational, educational ethics, research ethics, scientific-executive), background conditions (higher education policies, moral activism), intervening conditions (environmental factors), strategies (micro level-university, macro level-higher education) and consequences (individual and organizational) were elevated to a higher abstract level and finally the research paradigm model was presented. Conclusion: The regulations for the promotion of academic staff members in Iran require a detailed revision of the content with an ethical and qualitative approach in order to make the indicators of the promotion regulations efficient and effective.

Abstract:

With limited frequency spectrum and a tremendous growth in the demand for mobile communication services, the problem of channel assignment becomes increasingly important. Efficient channel assignment allows for an increased utilization of the limited frequency spectrum available for land mobile radio-telephone service. In this paper, a new traffic-adaptive non-uniform compact Pattern based Dynamic assignment algorithm is presented, which can be exploited in a PCS cellular environment with highly mobile users. The proposed Dynamic channel assignment scheme copes with the handoff originated call demands problem, as well as focusing on reducing the blocking probability of the new calls. Computer simulation results on a 49-cell network conducted in a different manner and environment compared to previous studies indicate superior teletraffic performance of the proposed strategy over its predecessors. By using a discrete time step model traffic simulator, the effect of user mobility on the grade of service also comes under study in this research.

Abstract:

Due to the lack of measurements in many regions, wave characteristics are estimated using different methods. Wave climate hindcasting/forecasting is mostly conducted by numerical models or empirical methods. Until now, different empirical methods have been developed for wave hindcasting. However, with the development of high speed processors, several sophisticated numerical models have been developed for wave prediction. These models are mostly phase-averaged spectral wave models developed in three generations. In the last two decades, third generation wave models have been used widely in academic and practical projects. In this regard, Port and Maritime Organization has produced his own model, PMO Dynamic. This model has been developed as a part of first three phases of Monitoring and Modeling of Study of Iranian Coasts project. PMO Dynamic package is a software available for engineering purposes. It has several modules that have been developed for different objectives. Wave model is the module which is used for the generation and transformation of wind waves in coastal areas. In this paper, in order to test the PMO Dynamic model capabilities, it has been applied for the prediction of wave parameters in Bushehr Bay and the results have been compared with MIKE21 SW model and measured data.

Abstract:

Background: In intertrochanteric fractures، Dynamic hip screw (DHS) is the most frequently used tool، but several studies did not give good results for this device in reverse-oblique and transverse fractures. Current study aimed to compare fixation results of reverse-oblique intertrochanteric and short-segment subtrochanteric fractures using Dynamic condylar screw (DCS) and DHS in patients referred to Alzahra and Kashani Hospitals in Isfahan, Iran. Methods: In a cross-sectional study، medical files of the patients referred to emergency units of the two hospitals who were diagnosed with intertrochanteric or subtrochanteric fractures and underwent DHS or DCS surgery more than 6 months before were assessed; they were invited for follow-up visit and examination. Written consent forms were taken from all the patients upon their entry; and they were examined in terms of complications including nonunion and failure of device and level of fracture improvement. These cases were evaluated by simple radiography ,too. Results obtained from examination of patients in addition to demographic information were recorded in the data collection form for each patient.Findings: Perfect union was observed in 14 (of 25) patients in DHS group and 21 (of 25) patients in DCS group (56% vs. 84%) six months after the surgery. Bone union was significantly better in DCS group (P=0.031). In addition, six months after the surgery, the devices used in 14 people in DHS group and 24 people in DCS group were fixed and the difference between the two groups was significant (P=0.001). 14 and 24 patients had total recovery in DHS and DCS groups، respectively (20% vs. 44%) with a significant difference (P=0.020).Conclusion: Considering obtained results, it can be concluded that using DCS is recommended over DHS due to severity of pain, bone union and fixation of the device.

Abstract:

One of the issues of reliable performance in the power grid is the existence of electromechanical oscillations between interconnected generators. The number of generators participating in each electromechanical oscillation mode and the frequency oscillation depends on the structure and function of the power grid. In this paper, to improve the transient nature of the network and damping electromechanical fluctuations, a decentralized robust adaptive control method based on Dynamic programming has been used to design a stabilizing power system and a complementary static var compensator (SVC) controller. By applying a single line to ground fault in the network, the robustness of the designed control systems is demonstrated. Also, the simulation results of the method used in this paper are compared with controllers whose parameters are adjusted using the PSO algorithm. The simulation results show the superiority of the decentralized robust adaptive control method based on Dynamic programming for the stabilizing design of the power system and the complementary SVC controller. The performance of the control method is tested using the IEEE 16-machine, 68-bus, 5-area is verified with time domain simulation.

Abstract:

In order to evaluate performance of the center pivot irrigation systems, an understanding of water application characteristics of these systems is necessary. A new model and its computer program are developed to calculate applied water depth and coefficient of application uniformity of center pivot systems. The model uses water distribution Pattern of stationary single spray nozzle as an input and simulates center pivot overall water distribution Pattern. For this purpose, two static and Dynamic square grids are considered. The static grid is obtained by dividing irrigated field to square components. The Dynamic grid is resulted from adapting a grid with square components on water distribution Pattern of single spray nozzle and is moved with moving spray nozzle on the center pivot lateral. Dynamic grid is moved over static grid. Water depths received in the field are determined in static grid components via considering water applications rates in Dynamic components. Distribution Patterns are overlapped in areas covered by adjacent spray nozzles.  The model outputs are water depths received in the field in all components of the static grid and water application uniformity coefficient. In order to evaluate and validate the model performance, several experiments were conducted in the field and the model was run for the same conditions. The results showed high accuracy of the model in simulating water distribution Patterns of the center pivot irrigation systems.

Abstract:

In spite of extensive research on predicting financial distress and bankruptcy there seems to be no acceptable Pattern for predicting based on known financial theories. Therefore. More research in this field will lead to better understanding of financial crisis. In this research, we tried to find a prediction Pattern using the Cox model. Using a company-year sample list of 19536 companies during the time period between 1384 and1395, this study investigates Dynamic probability predictions for Iranian firms. This estimated Pattern uses a combination of accounting data and stock market information. The Pattern provides predictions of survival probability using the cox model with time-varying variables. Forecast accuracy is evaluated using receiver operating characteristics curve and the Brier score. It was found that the Dynamic model has acceptable predictive power.

Abstract:

The main goal of the current study is to investigate the contagion of uncertainty between sectors (finance, housing and macroeconomics) using a Dynamic approach. In this regard, using monthly data in the period from 2008: 4 to 2020: 3, DCC-GARCH models and generalized forecast error variance decomposition (GFEVD), The overall Dynamic relationship as well as the directional pairs Dynamic relationship of uncertainty indicators between the mentioned sections are investigated. The results of this study show that the housing sector, with the exception of the beginning of 2017, is a net receiver of uncertainty from the other two sectors. Also, the results of the current research show the dual role of the financial sector in the mechanism of inter-sector uncertainty transfer, so that at some periods it is a net receiver of uncertainty and at some other periods (including the years 2017 and 2018) it is a net source and transmitter of uncertainty in the three indicators system. Inflation uncertainty, as an index of macroeconomic uncertainty, is a major source of uncertainty and a transmitter of uncertainty to the financial and housing sectors.
