Abstract:

Background and Objective: Adiponectin is an adipocytokine that is produced in adipocytes and recent studies have shown that adiponectin has anti-atherosclerotic and anti-inflammatory feature. But its response to successive exercises and detraining is unknown. The purpose of the present research was to measure the effect of a 10-week high intensity INTERVAL training (HIIT) and subsequent detraining PERIOD on plasma level of adiponectin in non-athlete male students.Materials and Methods: In this quasi-experimental research, 26 non-athlete male students were selected in a simple random manner and were divided into two control and experimental groups. Experimental group exercised in a 10-week training plan, 3 times a week; with a severing gamut of 85 to 100 percent HRmax and sequentially they experienced 4 weeks of detraining. The blood sampling was done after fasting for 14 hours in various phases with same conditions and the plasma level of adiponectin was measured using American Boster Corporation Adiponectin kit. Data were analyzed by Kolmogorov-Smirnov, repeated measure ANOVA and post hoc LSD and t-test at a significance level set at a£0.05.Results: The results showed that 10-week high intensity INTERVAL training (HIIT) results in a significant increase in the level of plasma adiponectin as well as a significant decrease in BMI value and body weight in experimental group than the ones in the control group (p=0.000). It was also found out that plasma level of adiponectin had a significant decrease after 4 weeks of detraining (p=0.000). At the end of research, there was no notable change in body weight, BMI value and plasma level of adiponectin in the control group. Conclusion: High-intensity INTERVAL training, as a new and effective method of training, with a noteworthy increase in adiponectin, a protective factor for cardiovascular disease, has a prophylactic effect on cardiovascular disease, while with a cessation of exercise and detraining, optimal training adaptations are lost and with a decrease in adiponectin, people are exposed to risk factors for heart disease.

Abstract:

Time history analyses as crucial means in many earthquake engineering applications are highly dependent to characteristics of the seismic excitation record so that the resulting responses may vary from case to case. Strong ground motion scaling is a known codified solution to reduce such a dependency and increase reliability of time history analyses. The well-known code practice may result in highly non-economic designs due to considerable error in the spectra scaled to match the target code spectrum. This problem is formulated here in an optimization framework with the scaling coefficients as the design variables. Harmony search as a recent meta-heuristic algorithm is utilized to solve the problem and is applied to the treated examples. Using a variety of target PERIOD ranges the scaling error is evaluated and studied after more unified via optimization. The effect of base structural PERIOD and INTERVAL variation on the scaling error is then studied in addition to considerable error decrease with respect to traditional code-based procedure. The results also show dependency of spectral matching error to the PERIOD-INTERVAL elongation/variation, the base-structural PERIOD and more error sensitivity for narrow-band resonance with the filtered records on softer soil types.

Abstract:

The optimization of investment portfolios is the most important topic in financial decision making, and many relevant models can be found in the literature. According to importance of portfolio optimization in this paper, deals with novel solution approaches to solve new developed portfolio optimization model. Contrary to previous work, the uncertainty of future returns of a given portfolio is modeled using LRFUZZY numbers while the function of its return are evaluated using possibility theory. We used a novel Lp-metric method to solve the model. The efficacy of the proposed model is tested on criterion problems of portfolio optimization on LINGO provides a framework to optimize objectives when creating the loan portfoliso, in a search for a dynamic markets decision. In addition to, the performance of the proposed efficiently encoded multi-objective portfolio optimization solver is assessed in comparison with two well-known MOEAs, namely NSGAII and ICA. To the best of our knowledge, there is no research that considered NSGAΠ , ICA fuzzy simultaneously. Due to improve the performance of algorithm, the performance of this approach more study is probed by using a dataset of assets from the Iran’ s stock market for three years historical data and PRE method. The results are analyzed through novel performance parameters RPD method. Thus, the potential of our comparison led to improve different portfolios in different generations.

Background & Aim: Today schizophrenia has a high incident in population and is developing among men and women. The purpose of present study is to evaluate effect of 8 weeks of HIIT on serum IL-4 in male schizophrenic patients. Methods: Present study is semi-experimental one with pre-posttest design. 28 male patients with schizophrenia with age range of 25-45 years old were divided into two groups of control and Intervention randomly. HIIT were performed for 8 weeks (3 sessions in a week with 70-85% maximum heart rate). Each session consisted of RAST protocol included 35 meter running for 6 repetitions. At the end of 8 weeks, after 12 hours fasting blood sampling was gathered and serum IL-4 content were assessed using ELISA method. Data were analyzed through SPSS 24 while using ANCOVA and paired t test at P<0. 05. Results: Significant increase in IL-4 levels in Intervention group compared to control were observed (p=0. 029). In addition, pre-posttest changes for IL-4 were significant in Intervention group (p=0. 005). however, it was not significant in control (p= 0. 51). Conclusion: Regular HIIT might mitigate vital impact on serum IL-4 level increase in male schizophrenic patients through improvement in inflammatory status as a useful and healthy method in attenuation of psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia.

Background and Aim: Reduction of any mobility and activity can cause many diseases as cardiovascular diseases. The aim of the present study was investigation of the effect of a combined training PERIOD (aerobic and High Intensity INTERVAL Training) and high intensity INTERVAL training on Homocysteine and ESR in cardiovascular patients. Methods and materials: In the current experimental study, 32 cardiovascular patients were selected voluntarily and were randomly divided into 3 groups: combined training group (n = 10), HIIT training group (n=11), and control group (n = 11). Inclusion criteria included injection fraction greater than 30, lack of tachycardia and bradycardia, and lack of functional capacity less than 5 met, and the exclusion criteria included unwillingness to continue the activity and diagnosis by a physician. The protocol of the HIIT training group included performing 3-2 times a week of HIIT training during the first 4 weeks and performing 3 times a week of HIIT training during the second 4 weeks. Blood samples were taken 24 hours before the first training session and 48 hours after the last training session, under the same conditions for all the three groups. Data analysis was performed using paired sample t-test, ANOVA, and post hoc with a significance level set at P˂,0. 05. Results: The performing of combined exercises and HIIT was found to have a significant effect on reducing serum homocysteine levels (combined exercise (baseline values of 1. 3 ±, 19. 7, after intervention 2. 3 ±,13. 8, P˂, 00/0), HIIT exercise (baseline values: 1. 3 ±, 20. 0, after intervention: 1. 5 ±, 16. 3, P˂, 001/0)) and ESR levels (combined exercise (baseline values: 2. 1 ±,27. 7, after intervention: 1. 27 ±,22. 13, P˂, 005/0), HIIT exercise (baseline values: 2. 8 ±,26. 2, after intervention: 2. 0±,22. 9, P˂, 004/0)) compared with the control group (Homocysteine P˂, 619/0, ESR P˂, 306/0) of cardiovascular patients. Conclusions: Combined and HIIT trainings seem to be effective in reducing homocysteine and ESR in cardiovascular patients, while the effect of combined exercise is greater than that of HIIT.

Abstract:

To investigate the effect of weed interference and weed-free PERIODs on Balangu (Lallemantia royleana Benth. in Wall) and to evaluate the critical PERIOD of weed control (CPWC) in this oilseed crop, an experiment was conducted as a randomized complete block design with three replications in Naghadeh region in 2018. Experimental consisted of two groups of treatments; weed infestation treatments (infestation for 144.2, 345.9, 574, 848.2, 1147.6 and 1451.3 growing degree day (GDD) after transplanting and then plots were remained weed-free the rest of the growing season) and weed-free treatments (weeding for 144.2, 345.9, 574, 848.2, 1147.6 and 1451.3 GDD after transplanting and then plots were remained infested until harvesting time). In each block, one weed free and weed infested control was for all the growing season. Results indicated that the density and dry biomass of weeds were increased as weed removal was delayed. In contrast, density and dry biomass of weeds were decreased as weeds establishment was delayed. Height, tetrachenes fruits, ripened achenes, 1000-seed weight and biological, seed and relative yields of Balangu were decreased and increased as the duration of weed-infested and weed-free PERIOD increased, respectively. Also, logistic and Gompertz curves fitted to data showed that the beginning and end of the CPWC based on a 10% yield loss of relative yield, was estimated to be from 11 to 108 days after transplanting (97 days weed-free PERIOD) in order to prevent a noticeable yield loss.

Abstract:

Background and aims: Preterm delivery is associated with significant perinatal morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to determine the effects of intravenous (IV) hydration on time INTERVAL from rupture of membranes to delivery (latency PERIOD) in pregnant women with Preterm premature rupture of fetal membranes. Methods: 24 pregnant women during their 28 to 34 weeks of gestational age with singleton live pregnancy whose baseline amniotic fluid index (AFI) was³5 cm were randomized into 2 case and control groups. The study group (Amniotic Fluid Index) received one liter intravenous fluid bolus of isotonic Ringer serum during 30-minute PERIOD. The control group received expectant management. The time INTERVAL from rupture of membranes to delivery was studied. Independent t-test and paired t-test were used to compare 2 groups and mean latency PERIOD before and after hydration, respectively. Results: The results of this study demonstrated that AFI decreased significantly at 90 minutes in both control and study groups. The mean between time INTERVALs and delivery was 196.41 h and 140.58 h in the study and control groups, respectively, But this differences were not statistically significant (95%: 75.9-316.9 CI 95%: 10.2-270.9) (P=490).Conclusion: This study did not show any significant impact of hydration on AFI and consequently latency PERIOD as a prophylactic method. So, further studies with a larger sample size and at different time INTERVALs seem to be needed to clarify the effect of hydration on latency PERIOD in PPROM.
