The emergence of the Knowledge Economy has been the result of numerous developments in the contemporary Economy that are closely related to the expansion of the free market, the commoditization of mental work and the emergence of a system of intellectual property rights. In this paper, the context of the emergence of a Knowledge-based Economy for the recognition of its distinction historical role has been studied in order to maintain the continuity of the logic of contemporary economic system. In addition, while criticizing the views that put human Knowledge to work as the main source of wealth, we have tried to refer to Karl Marx’ s value-work theory, and focusing on the relationship between Knowledge and value theory, prominent involvement of Knowledge in the process of work and the labor productivity increase law pay attention, and to reach the conclusion that Knowledge-based work is inseparable from the work of the producer of the goods, and even serves it. In other words, human Knowledge can’ t be separated it, but these two act as mental and labor work in the direction of changing the organic composition of capital and adding to its constant value. This leads to an increase in production capacity of communities that has always been an issue for economists.

The Knowledge-based Economy is considered as one of the important concepts that has been given special attention in the above-mentioned legal documents of the I. R. Iran, including the general policies of the Resistive Economy. Knowledge-based Economy is a basic need for developing countries such as Iran. Avoiding a Knowledge-based Economy greatly reduces competitiveness. Economics based on science and Knowledge leads to the sustainable growth and development of society and ultimately the realization of a Resistive Economy. Due to the importance of Knowledge-based Economy in the development of the country, the purpose of this study is to "study the current and favorable situation of Iran's Economy based on Knowledge-based Economy-Resistive Economy". The type of research is applied-developmental in terms of purpose. Also, in order to determine the current and favorable situation of Iran's Economy based on Knowledge-based Economy-Resistive Economy, a questionnaire was developed and analyzed using SPSS software and inferential statistics. The results showed that the situation of the variables "economic and institutional regime", " Information and communication technology" and " Resistive Economy" in Iran in general does not have the desired average. However, the results show that the variables " educated and skilled population" and " innovation system " in Iran have a favorable average. To show the gap between the current and favorable situation of Knowledge-based Economy-Resistive Economy variables in Iran, two-sample t-test was used, which according to the results, there is a significant difference between the current and favorable situation of all variables.

In the context of Knowledge Economy, the process of economic development is examined on the proposition that (creation, acquiring, sharing, and effective application of) Knowledge matters for economic performance. In this article, we examine the explanatory power of the Knowledge Economy model in comparison with the previous development models to study the achievement of greater economic development. After elaborating the methodology of Knowledge Economy, we also evaluate Iranian Knowledge Economy using World Bank Institutes data and software. It is found that in some aspects, i.e. information and communication infrastructure and human resources development, the situation of Iranian Economy is moderate. However, in terms of economic incentives and institutional regime and innovation system, which significantly affect the creation and application of Knowledge, there is a long way to go to meet the main objectives of the development outlook of I.R. of Iran.

This paper proposes a structural model for the analysis of correlation between Knowledge Economy index and sustainable development across the world. An analytical model is devised for investigation of the role of the major factors in the process of development. The proposed structural model is calibrated using statistical data from the World Bank, and the United Nations for national economies across the world. Findings of the study indicate a significant correlation between the Knowledge Economy index (KEI), and the sustainable development standard (SDS) in a large sample of world economies. According to findings of the model, we could also significantly validate the relevance of Kuznets' Environmental Curve.In conclusion, it is argued that advancement of a Knowledge based Economy, requires an evolutionary improvement of economic environment in the course of globalization.

Purpose: The Purpose of this study is to construct a model that identifies the components of the Knowledge-based Economy in order to promote its development through insights from experts.Methodology: This qualitative research employs a thematic analysis approach with a focus on professors, experts, and individuals Knowledgeable about the subject. A total of 52 participants were selected using purposeful sampling and data was collected through semi-structured interviews.Findings: Initially, 1,535 codes were extracted, leading to 353 codes in the subsequent stage, and further refined to 42 secondary codes during the central coding phase. Ultimately, nine main codes were derived in the selective coding stage.Conclusion: Emphasizing the importance of a Knowledge-based Economy can enhance productivity, foster economic prosperity, and facilitate the creation and growth of Knowledge-based enterprises. Such emphasis can also boost competitiveness, innovation, and success in global markets, ultimately leading to improved standards of living and sustainable development.Value: This research offers insight into the role of a Knowledge-based Economy in driving Knowledge-based development within the country.

The increasing importance of Knowledge in economies has led to the Knowledge-based Economy. In fact, in this type of Economy, the accumulation of science and Knowledge from research and development has led to an increase in the rate of return on research and development projects and plays a significant role in creating wealth for a country. Accordingly, the main purpose of this paper is to evaluate the relationship between Knowledge Economy Index (KEI) and Gross Domestic production (GDP) for Iran’ s Economy over the past 20 years. Therefore, the relation between Knowledge Economy Index and GDP growth in 1996 to 2017 in Iran’ s Economy through The Johansen test has been investigated. Results confirm a long-run relation between KEI and GDP growth during the studied period. Considering the significant contribution of Knowledge-based Economy to GDP growth, it seems it is necessary to pay attention to constructive variables of the s Knowledge Economy and the production of Knowledge-based products for Iran’ s Economy. The main purpose of this article is to present the model of Knowledge-based Economy in higher education in Islamic Azad University of Tehran province. Materials and methods: The research method is applied in terms of objectives, qualitative data in terms of the type of study, and the data of the emerging foundation. Based on the purposeful snowball sampling method and based on theoretical saturation, 17 experts were selected. The data collection tool is exploratory interviews. After data collection, their analysis was done in the form of open, central and selective coding, and based on the data analysis, a suitable model of Knowledge-based Economy in higher education was presented. Findings: The results of the research indicate that this model consists of six dimensions: causal factors, main phenomenon, contextual factors, strategic factors, intervening factors and consequences, and 15 components and 84 constructive indicators, which compared to other Models are more reliable; Therefore, the application and operationalization of the mentioned model can greatly help to improve the quality of higher education. Conclusion: The study of Knowledge-based economics in Islamic Azad Universities can be a step towards improving the quality in the higher education system, especially at the level of schools and educational groups. be considered.
