Abstract:

Due to the complexities of oil reservoir simulation models, there is a need to find an optimization method that can have good accuracy and speed while reducing computational costs. In this regard, in this study, a Parallel genetic algorithm has been used to accelerate the optimizer in order to prevent the increase of the computational load of the well placement problem and the prolongation of the execution time. Instead of one population of chromosomes (i. e., the same optimization variables), this algorithm works with several populations, which exchange chromosomes with each other. The proposed mathematical model is a single-objective problem, which is to maximize the present value of the project in the location of wells. The price of oil and the cost of separating water and gas are considered in this economic function. In evaluating the objective function, the CPU of a single computer, or multiple networked computers, each in Parallel, are responsible for calculating the chromosomes’ fitness of Parallel populations. After calculating the target function or suitability of the chromosomes of all populations (in which each population has common genetic function), migration between populations takes place. A case study has been used to validate the implementation of this method. In the proposed model, the location of vertical wells in an oil tank has been verified. As a result of the optimization, the wells are located at five points, four injection wells at the corners, and one production well at the center of the model, and in addition to reducing optimization time, the number of simulator performances in Parallel processing mode is significantly reduced. In this research, the performance of genetic and Parallel genetic algorithms for location optimization on the same reservoir model is shown. The execution time of optimization between genetics and Parallel genetics is 7100 seconds and 1800 seconds, respectively. As it is known, the use of PGA has quadrupled the execution time in the studied oil reservoir.

Abstract:

A numerical model was developed to simulate the transport phenomena of a flow between two Parallel plates with one porous and one non-porous (or impermeable) wall. The continuity and momentum equations were solved first, assuming the suction or injection is uniform and wall Reynolds number is in the range -5£Rew£+5. The results show that at a constant inlet and wall Reynolds number, the friction factor on the porous wall with suction was bigger than that with injection, but the axial non-dimensional pressure drop with injection was larger than the pressure drop in the fully developed flow between impermeable plates and also larger than the pressure drop with suction. This is because of the net increase of the mean velocity of flow along the channel when injection is imposed. In the presence of suction the pressure drop is controlled by the suction rate and approaches a constant value as the inertia and viscous forces are counterbalanced in the flow. The energy equationwas solved independently assuming a constant suction or injection rate of air in the porous wall using different thermal boundary conditions. The results show that the Nusselt number distribution along the channel depends on the thermal boundary conditions imposed on porous and non-porous walls. The thermal characteristics also depend on whether suction or injection occurs through the porous wall.

Abstract:

Introduction: In different studies worldwide, gender ratios derived from ICSI (Assisted reproductive techniques) have been reported differently. Objective: Evaluation of neonatal gender in ICSI women referred to Mehr Infertility Research Center of Rasht. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive-analytical study, the cases of infertile women referred to Mehr Infertility Research Center in Rasht for ICSI were examined to determine the sex ratio of the neonates. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and descriptive and an alytical (Chi-square and independent t) tests. Results: The results showed that 52% of single-born neonates, 60% of multiple pregnancies (single sex) and 52. 5% of multiple pregnancy (two sexes) were male. Conclusion: The ratio of male in single and multiple pregnancies in ICSI was higher than female.

The purpuse of this essay is that scrutiny semblance of ancient myths of iran and comparison of those. The author mentions his theory about to how start of myths then he conclude the relation between myth and philosophy. In continue he scrutiny of most important similes between persian myths and adventures of prophets and unmerciful kings which mention in holy books. For example similes between siavoosh and abraham. The most important conclude of these essay is reletions between myths and historical adventures or between two diffrent myths and how efficacy of those.

Abstract:

Numerous industrial and biological processes like water filtering, air filtering, blood flow through arteries, and absorption of digested foods are a few examples of flow with suction/injection at the walls. Studies related to the injection/suction of Newtonian fluids have been reported by several researchers in the past, but studies related to the flow of non-Newtonian fluids with injection/suction are scarce in the open literature. Rivlin-Eriksen fluid (also known as third-grade fluids) is an important class of non-Newtonian fluids that is applied for modeling crude and slurry material in a liquid state, molten lava, blood flow, petroleum etc. Considering this, the flow of a Rivlin-Ericksen fluid of grade three through large porous Parallel plates with bottom injection and top suction (same velocity of suction and injection) is analyzed in the present study. The governing equations of fluid flow are solved by using the least square method, which is an important part of the present study. Choosing the trial function for the least square method in this particular case is a difficult task since the velocity profile turns out to be asymmetric for higher velocity of suction and injection. In this study, proper implementation of the least square method is demonstrated for such types of asymmetric velocity distribution, which is a novelty.  In the present study a solution for non-dimensional velocity distribution is obtained, and the results are validated with the solution obtained by perturbation method. The results reveal that with an increase in the non-Newtonian parameter (when the cross-flow Reynolds number is low), velocity decreases at the same rate, both near the bottom and top walls. However, when the cross-flow Reynolds number is higher, velocity near the bottom plate is nearly unaffected by a decrease in the non-Newtonian parameter, whereas, near the top plate, velocity decreases with an increase in the non-Newtonian parameter.

Abstract:

The plot of some narratives is structured in a way that it can encapsulate paradoxical and opposite states. Conceptualization of these kinds of narratives based on classic cosmology to which most of us are accustomed is not possible; another cosmology such as quantum cosmology, however, might be helpful. The text can be interpreted through “multiverse theory, ” because in this cosmological framework of quantum mechanics the conjoining of the opposite states is possible. This article is an interdisciplinary attempt to analyze different kinds of the so-called “multiverse narratives.” The major question of this article is to explore the relationship between the notion of Parallel universes in physics and narrative semantics. My purpose is to find out the function of the notion of Parallel worlds in narrative semantics. Thus, I argue that various sorts of multiverse narratives invite the reader to reflect on the nature of space, time, identity, and memory by challenging the boundary between actual and virtual world.
