One of the approaches in modern literary criticism is psychological criticism. We can perform psychoanalysis on fictional characters in the same way as we do on real human beings, which help to obtain a better understanding of the work as well as to improve the status of literature. After providing an introduction regarding the relationship between literature and psychology, this paper will analyze Alavi’s “The lead SOLDIER” (Sarbaz-e-Sorbi) from a psychological point of view. “The lead SOLDIER” is one of the stories in his collection “The suitcase (Chamedan)” which was written according to Freudian ideas and theories.

Figural imagery has a long history in Iranian textiles and was an important part of the decorative motifs in Iranian ancient textiles. With the advent of Islam and the prohibition of the use of human imagery and figural motifs in artworks, Calligraphy was used as a substitute for human motifs and as the dominant decoration until the end of the ninth century AH. From the end of the ninth century AH, especially in the Safavid era, the tendency towards the visual traditions of ancient Iran has increased and figural imagery in textiles became popular in various ways. In the meantime, there is a group of fabrics with human motifs that their decorations include the subject of captivity which has never been seen in Iranian textile design. The purpose of this article is to study the Safavid textiles containing the motifs of SOLDIERs and captives and to analyze and interpret them based on the socio-political conditions of the Safavid period. Therefore, answering these questions is intended: What factors led to the formation of this group of designs in the Safavid textiles? And what are the cultural and social characteristics of the fabrics containing the imagery of SOLDIER and captive? Anchored SOLDIER piles and lagging walls (Berlin Wall) is one of the modern methods to excavation stabilization in recent years. The aim of this paper is the study of behavior of deep excavation by anchored SOLDIER piles using numerical modeling in PlAXIS 3D software. For this purpose the effect of surcharge loading, mechanical properties of soils and length of anchors on deformations and distribution of tensions are studied. In this study, the soil type and the depth of excavation is selected clay and 15meters, respectively. The obtained results show that the surcharge load, mechanical properties and anchor length have a significant effect on the behavior of the excavations. With increasing of cohesion and friction angle of soils, magnitude of deformations and stresses decrease. But increasing of the anchors length has not impressive effect on deformations and stresses.

This research aimed to find a suitable formulation for rations containing Black SOLDIER fly larvae powder to support the optimal kampung hen production performance. Four to five-month-old Kampung hens were given feed with different amounts of black SOLDIER fly larvae powder (n = 4 hens/treatment) to adjust protein and energy levels: R0 (commercial feed only, 17.53% protein, 3067 kcal/kg), R1 (14% protein, 2600 kcal/kg energy), R2 (14% protein, 2800 kcal/kg energy), R3 (16% protein, 2600 kcal/kg energy), R4 (16% protein, 2800 kcal/kg energy), R5 (18% protein, 2600 kcal/kg energy), R6 (18% protein, 2800 kcal/kg energy), R7 (20% protein, 2600 kcal/kg energy), R8 (20% protein, 2800 kcal/kg energy), R9 (22% protein, 2600 kcal/kg energy), and R10 (22% protein, 2800 kcal/kg energy). We measured several performance parameters, including body weight, feed consumption, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, visceral index, intraperitoneal fat index, and tissue protein content. Results show that treatment R6 produced significantly better overall performance (p <  0.05) than all other treatments except R5. Feed containing black SOLDIER fly larvae powder with 18% protein content and 2800 kcal/kg energy is an inexpensive and readily available way to support the maximum growth of Kampung hens.
