Abstract: 

In this article, the structure of Iran TELECOMMUNICATION market, its performance and the cost structures of TELECOMMUNICATION companies have been investigated by estimating appropriate cost function and applying panel data during 2004-2008.  Results show TELECOMMUNICATION market has additivity function and introducing new, competitive enterprises in this market would lead to the efficiency decrease, so current monopoly seems to be more efficient.

Abstract: 

Audio data are widely exchanged in TELECOMMUNICATIONs networks. Due to the limitation of network resources, these data are usually compressed before transmission. Various methods exist for compressing audio data. Hence, in order to unlawfully access these audio information, one needs to first identify the codec which is used for audio compression. One of the best approaches for audio codec identification is identification based on the contents of received packets. In these methods, statistical features of received packets are used for identification of employed codec. In this paper, a method of audio codec classification is proposed based on longest common substring and longest common subsequence features. Simulation results (with accuracy of 97% for 8 Kbytes packets) demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method compared to conventional methods.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, with the spread of communication networks, the demand to transmit multimedia data has significantly increased. So, the knowledge about data type which is transmitted through the network is an important issue for monitoring communications and preventing transmission of malicious data. A typical identification system attempts to identify the type of transmitted coded data through classification within a predefined set. The classification is usually based on some relevant features extracted from the received bit stream. Most of the researches in this field consider a few kinds of image codec in their classification problem. In this paper, an efficient identification system is proposed for classification within ten different images codecs. The proposed system is based on combination and extension of existing methods. According to simulation results, image codecs are classified with average accuracy of 88. 90%. Among various codecs, GIF and BMP have the highest accuracy of 99. 3% and 92. 5%, respectively. On the other hand, FLIF and WEBP have the lowest accuracy 83. 3% and 83. 6%, respectively.

HUMANS LEARNED HOW TO TRAVEL AT SEA FROM OLD TIMES. THE MAN ALWAYS TRIED TO COMMUNICATE WITH COASTAL AREA AND ASKING FOR HELP IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. AT THE PRESENT TIME, NUMEROUS SYSTEMS ARE AVAILABLE THAT FACILITATE SUCH COMMUNICATION. THE ROLE OF TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IS UNDENIABLE IN DEVELOPMENT OF MARINE SAFETY. THIS ARTICLE DEALS WITH SOME PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS THAT CAN HELP IMPROVE MARINE SAFETY THROUGH INSTALLATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN COASTS. VHF IS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF SUCH SYSTEMS THAT CAN NOT ONLY IMPROVE HUMAN PRODUCTIVITY, BUT ALSO IT CAN REDUCE RISKS BOTH IN TERMS OF SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE AS WELL. Abstract: 

Today’ s, intelligent agent system (IAS) are considered as an important part of people's lives. Therefore, many of organizations try to implement IAS in their mechanism. One of these organizations in Iran is TELECOMMUNICATION Infrastructure Company. Because any implementation need a model which clarify the structural and contextual components, therefore, the current research is conducted to provide a model for developing the necessary infrastructure for implementation of intelligent technologies in the communication and TELECOMMUNICATION mechanisms of Ilam Province. To achieve the goal, a qualitative approach and thematic analysis method were used. The research population consisted of all experts in the field of ICT in Ilam province Infrastructure Communications Company that using purposeful sampling method and relying on theoretical data saturation, 10 of them were selected as sample. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed through theme analysis. Based on the method, 4 themes, 10 main categories and 153 open codes were extracted. The findings of the study showed that to transform communication mechanisms into intelligent technologies, there must be technological, management, marketing and cultural infrastructure. Technological infrastructure consisted of intelligent software and hardware; management infrastructure consisted of knowledge and belief; marketing infrastructure included attracting intelligent technology to audiences, encouraging ideas, physical and virtual channels; and finally, cultural infrastructure, it was staff training and public awareness.

Abstract: 

TELECOMMUNICATION tower is an important component of the basic infrastructure of communication systems and thus preserving them in events of natural disasters-such as a severe earthquake-is of high priority. In past studies, researchers have mostly considered the effects of wind and earthquake-induced loads on 3-legged (triangular cross-section) self-supporting steel TELECOMMUNICATION towers. In this study, the seismic sensitivity of 4-legged TELECOMMUNICATION towers is investigated based on modal superposition analysis. For this purpose, ten of the existing 4-legged self-supporting TELECOMMUNICATION towers in Iran are studied under the effects of wind and earthquake loadings. To consider the wind effects on the prototypes, the provisions of the TIA/EIA code are employed and the wind is treated as a static load throughout the analysis. In addition, to consider the earthquake effects on the models, the standard design spectrum based on the Iranian seismic code of practice and the normalized spectra of Manjil, Tabas and Naghan earthquakes have been applied. Since Iran is considered to be located in a high seismic risk region, a base design acceleration of A=0.35 g is used for normalization of the spectra. It was observed that in the case of towers with rectangular cross section, the effect of simultaneous earthquake loading in two orthogonal directions is important. At the end, a number of empirical relations are presented that can help designers to approximate the dynamic response of towers under seismic loadings.

Abstract: 

Tree search algorithms are vital for the search methods in structured data. Such algorithms deal with nodes which can be taken from a data structure. One famous tree data structure is split tree. In this paper, to compute the split tree in polar coordinates, a method has been introduced. Assuming that the algorithm inputs (in form of points) have been distributed in the form of a circle or part of a circle, polar split tree can be used. For instance, we can use these types of trees to transmit radio and TELECOMMUNICATION waves from host stations to the receivers and to search the receivers. Since we are dealing with data points that are approximately circular distributed, it is suggested to use polar coordinates. Furthermore, there are several researches by search algorithms for the central anchor which leads to the assignment of a virtual polar coordinate system. In this paper, the structure of Cartesian split tree will be explained and the polar split tree will be implemented. Then, by doing nearest neighbor search experiments, we will compare the polar split tree and polar quad tree in terms of searching time and amount of distance to the closest neighbor and in the end, better results will be achieved.

Abstract: 

The goal of this paper is to compile strategies for a Chinese international TELECOMMUNICATION vendor which entered into Iran telecom market in the year 2000. Since ZTE is involved with business in more than 135 countries and it is out of our power to collect huge data from all over the world, we have limited our strategies to Iranian market and we will compile strategies for Iran business unit only. To proceed with compiling strategies for ZTE Company, we will firstly give a brief introduction about ZTE. Then we will give a short explanation about the method of compiling strategies for any kind of firm. At the end, based on the method introduced, we will select the most adequate strategies in order to maintain ZTE’s competitive advantage in Iran telecom market.
