Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Due to the great importance of female police uniforms in Iranian society in order to present a brand of chastity and hijab at home and abroad, as well as building a brand in the field of law enforcement, the purpose of this study was to provide a model for identifying female police brand and Finally, it has been a good idea to map out the future.Method: The research method of this study, from the perspective of purpose; Functional, in nature; Exploratory-analytical and in terms of data collection methodology, the qualitative method was using a contractual qualitative analysis strategy with in-depth interview technique (no follow-up questions with maximum professional diversity), with informed consent and up to the point of saturation of theoretical data in the form of method. Sampling continued judgment-purposefully. To evaluate and validate data (reliability); Four criteria of acceptability, reliability, portability and verifiability were used and approved.Findings and Results: After conducting the interviews, 248 initial codes were determined and using the category review process, content themes including 7 categories, along with 15 subcategories related to designing an appropriate pattern for identifying the brand of police uniforms became female. The categories were: reliance on internal strength and indigenous culture (supporting Iranian-Islamic culture, national and geographical attitude), visual (color and design), global competitiveness (visual capabilities, integrated global capabilities), content (strength and stability, Trust building), individual (agility, resilience), organizational (military rank, placement of law enforcement symbols, security-law enforcement tools) and economic (cost, costs).

Abstract: 

Objective: To know the attitude of the student community towards religious rituals, especially Islamic clothing, is considered one of the important elements in the formation of human behavior, which plays an effective role in spiritual health and the observance of Islamic values. This research was organized with the aim of investigating the behavioral tendencies of female students regarding the Islamic hijab. Method: This research was conducted in a descriptive and cross-sectional way in university centers in Iranshahr. The tool used was collected through the researcher's questionnaire and the necessary information was collected and analyzed in SPSS software with statistical distribution methods. Results: In the field of behavioral tendency of students to protect privacy and Islamic dress, more than 70% are in favor of hijab, 67% are in favor of promoting the observance of religious dress through cultural activities, and 23% consider reprimanding and warning as the worst practice in this field. Regarding the influence of Islamic chastity in life, more than 60% of students agreed that veiling based on Sharia criteria creates psychological security and immunity in society. According to the opinions of students, less than 30% agree with the methods of indifference towards hijab and gender segregation in places.

Abstract: 

The importance of female heads of households in providing the basic needs of household members on the one hand and the limitations they face in most socio-economic fields have made it necessary to pay attention to the issues of female heads of households in most societies including our country. The purpose of this study is to use the systematic review method to review and evaluate the policy proposals that have been proposed in Iran for women heads of households. A total of 296 articles and 5 reports were identified. In the review and eligibility phase, the total number of selected texts was considered to be 79 texts, of which 62 studies used the quantitative method and 17 studies used the qualitative method. Based on the studies that proposed policy proposals, the characteristics of female heads of the household, the axes of vulnerability, the evaluation of policies and proposals were determined. The findings showed that more policy proposals were made based on the characteristics of low literacy, being unemployed, and being middle-aged. Based on the axes of vulnerability, women heads of households are more vulnerable psychologically and socially than they are materially vulnerable in many cases. The evaluation of policies for women heads of households showed that the most interventions for the empowerment of women heads of households were focused on the economic field and were mainly pursued in the form of financial payments and did not pay enough attention to other aspects of women's empowerment, while the empowerment of women heads of households was successful when It is expected to simultaneously pay attention to their mental health and improve their social and economic status.

Abstract: 

The main objective of this article is to understand the reason for covering consumption (different coverings and Hijabs) of the young girls in the city of Amol. It also attemptes to achieve the young girls’ perspective on covering codes and the typology of different patterns. In order to do so, in the theoretical section of the article, different patterns including “ GHODSI pattern“, “ MOGHAVEMATI pattern “, “TALFIGHI pattern “ and “ORFI pattern “ have been differentiated. The qualitative method has been applied using interviews (individual-by group). The variables have been targeted with a theoretical saturation. Results show young girls have different meanings in choosing different clothing, therefore the overall results of the interview leads to 8 main categories including obeying the stereotype of Hijab, the pleasure of aesthetics, sociability, confronting social insecurity and a sexual approach to covering. This article also considers young girls’ approach to satellite channels. By order the most consumers of this media are “resistance pattern”, “secular pattern”, “combinational pattern” whereas the “sacred pattern” is the only group which has a severe approach towards satellite programs.

Abstract: 

Background and purpose: This research examines the representation of women's faces and clothing components in the wall paintings of Tehran, considering the importance of women's social status and their roles in different fields of society. Method: The method of this research is included in the category of studies with qualitative approach and semiotic method. The data of this research includes 80 murals in the city of Tehran, which were selected with a purposeful method from among the custom murals in the main squares of the city of Tehran and to represent the face and clothing components of women. The period of choosing wall paintings is June and July of 1402. The number of data selections was determined by reaching the saturation stage. Findings of the research: In the images used in the wall paintings of Tehran, the clothing components represented in these images were fully veiled and fully covered, which did not match the variety of women's clothing in the society. The faces represented in these pictures are devoid of any cheerfulness and beauty and are mostly represented as sullen and sad faces. Conclusion: The representation of women's faces and clothing in wall paintings is an inconsistent representation and does not match the realities of women in society. This mismatch in the field of clothing and makeup, appearance, is clearly comparable. The images represented in the wall paintings are women without any vitality.

Abstract: 

The world bank estimates that almost 20% of industrial water pollution is caused by textile industry. Chemical dyes have used in dyeing industries once they have good fastness properties, are resistance, and show wide range of color shades. Considering the environmental concerns, these colorants have certain disadvantages such as they are toxic, non-degradable, and carcinogenic. On the other hand, fabric and clothing industries are major sources of environmental pollution especially in developing countries such as Iran. The mass consumption of clothing and also their common methods of design and production have led to increased environmental pollution due to the disposal of vast amounts of non-biodegradable wastes, ultimately faced the country with several problems. As a result, new approaches are going to be developed to renewing the use of scrap and waste materials in clothing production aimed at safeguarding the environment. The use of waste agricultural dyes is also an environmentally friendly alternative, since they are non-carcinogenic, less toxic, biodegradable, and produced by cleaner production processes. The question that arises is whether clothing design and production processes can be improved based on the facilities of the country in accordance with the sustainable development principles. It appears that empowerment of women in sustainable development topics can be an ideal solution for achieving this goal. What support this idea is the women impact on the sustainable source management, social communication, and the country’s education system. The purpose of the current research is to design and produce the women social clothing by using the fabric scraps and agricultural waste dyes. In terms of the type of study and in terms of the practical purpose, the method of present study is a descriptive-survey way and its purpose is an "applied" one. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. In this way, this work was produced four women social clothing by dying the fabrics with chamomile colorant and the peels of pomegranate, walnut, and onion and also by using the fabric scraps. The reflection of this design method was examined among the female students of BA and MA courses in carpet, textile design and printing, art research, and handicrafts industry from the art faculty of Semnan university. A sample size of 102 students was chosen using a simple random sampling. SPSS software was used to analyze the data. The findings obtained from this study showed that women has a positive and important effect on the sustainable development in environmental issues and the increasing women’s awareness and capacities in this context is necessary. This research also indicates that the components of designed garment exception of the body characteristics are accepted by the statistical community. The results also show a positive relationship between the girls' awareness of the principles of sustainable clothing development and their satisfaction with the designs done.

Abstract: 

Objective(s): To validate Persian version of the FSFI and to determine its diagnostic cut off score. Methods: This was a descriptive analytic study. To fill in the Persian version of the FSFI. In addition clinical interviews were carried out by a psychiatrist on DSM-4 criteria. Women divided in two age and educational matched groups: the control group (n=28) who have not sexual dysfunction and the case group (n=53) who have sexual dysfunction. Data were analyzed by Cronbach’s alpha and validity was assessed by comparing mean scores of two groups. Optimal cut off score determined by Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve. Results: The findings showed satisfactory results for full scale and each subscale with Cronbach’s alpha ranging from 0.66 or above for sexually dysfunctional sample and 0.70 or above for sexually active sample. Discriminant validity confirmed the ability of both total and domain scores to differentiate between active and inactive women. On the basis of sensitivity and specificity analyses we found that the optimal cut off score was found to be 28 for differentiating women with and without sexual dysfunction. Conclusion: The findings showed that the Iranian version of female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) is a reliable and valid instrument for measuring sexual function in women.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Upper limb musculoskeletal disorders are prevalent and undesirable health consequences among workers in clothing industry. To improve working conditions, workplace ergonomic assessment is necessary. This study was conducted among workers of clothing manufacturing workshops to determine the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders and to assess ergonomic working conditions to identify major risk factors associated with musculoskeletal symptoms. Methods: One hundred and fifty female workers from clothing manufacturing workshops of Yazd city participated in this study. The Nordic questionnaire and an ergonomics checklist consisting of 6 sections were used as data collection tools. An index was calculated for each section of the checklist. Action categories indicating the priority of corrective measures were also defined. Data analysis was performed using the ANOVA and ROC curve tests by SPSS software (version 17). Results: The results showed a high prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders, especially in the upper limbs among the study population. In this study, a significant association was found between the calculated ergonomics index and MSDs in different body regions (p<0. 05). The mean of this index among the workers who reported symptoms was less than those of the other group indicating undesirable ergonomic conditions. In addition, 68. 7% of the workers were categorized in the first priority of intervention (requiring ergonomic intervention as soon as possible). Conclusion: The prevalence of MSDs was high among the workers of clothing workshops. The developed checklist was considered as an appropriate and low cost tool for ergonomic evaluation of sewing workshops. The results also indicated that most ergonomic problems in these workshops originate from inappropriate general working conditions, work organization, manual material handling, hand tools, workstation and working posture.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of personality in choosing the color of sport clothing. This research was conducted through a survey and method of data collection was electronically and data collected by a combined questionnaire. The population of this research included all academics at University of Mazandaran that had e-mail. According to Morgan table, 379 of them were considered as a sample by using simple random method. To measure personality, personality questionnaire was used. For evaluating the preferences of color for sport, a picture was placed with 10 different colors (in three parts of neutral, warm and cold color). Data was analyzed by using polynomial logistic regression. Results showed that the role of personality was significant in the level of 0.05 in choosing the color of sport clothing except panties and people who are more experienced and more conscientious, tend to choose more neutral and cold colors than warm colors.
