The main question of this article is that what is the resistant society as an Islamic pre-theory first proposed by Imam Moosa Sadr and what are its characteristics? Can it be utilized to protect Islamic revolution of Iran in the face of expansionist threats by great powers? Resistant society is versus passive society and enjoys a specific characteristic which is the prime barrier in the way of expansion and domination of great powers over countries that seek political and economic independence. Therefore with an accurate analysis and its correct adjustment to current conditions, this pattern can be used as one of the methods to protect Islamic revolution of Iran.

Important political schools in contemporary world including Islam, liberalism and Zionism have considered the issue of justice each through its point of view. These different attitudes toward justice have led to the production of different practical results in contemporary political experience in international system. Equality-seeking approach of Shiite Islam in distribution of facilities and opportunities is in contrast with dominating and self-centered viewpoint of liberalism and has created the grounds for tension between Shiite Islam and liberalism and Zionism. This article intends to study and investigate this conceptual and practical contradiction among the schools in question applying descriptive analysis.

With an emphasis on Imam Khomeini’s opinions, this article discusses techniques of internal and external supervision in Islamic government. It has extracted and discussed comprehensive techniques out of his opinions in the field of external supervision. While mentioning internal techniques such as piety, knowledge, justice etc. this article mentions techniques presented in the field of external supervision. These external techniques will be brought up under the title of general and structural techniques.

The main question of this article is how Imam Khomeini (PBUH) domesticated modern political concepts. Grounded theory research method is a new method in political sciences. It begins with a question and through a few stages it presents the answer. For the first time the author intends to analyze Imam Khomeini’s (PBUH) approach to tradition and modernism based on a new method not descriptive but rather explanatory. The resultant (finding) is a new model or theory that indicates an approach to sustain tradition in appearance and behavior in Imam Khomeini’s (PBUH) method. The scope of the research is Imam Khomeini’s (PBUH) speeches from 1945 to 1990. In this field only a sample of applied traditional and modern concepts has been studied.

Using document analysis method, this article tries to investigate components of Pahlavi courtiers’ political behavior from 1964 up to the victory of Islamic revolution in 1979 in the theoretical framework of Nahjolbalaga teachings. On this basis, first Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) viewpoint about the indexes of political rulers’ political behavior has been presented and then components of Pahlavi courtiers’ political behavior compared to Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) have been investigated. The results indicate that the creation of undesired conditions like dependence, discrimination, injustice and removal of open political atmosphere made Pahlavi regime be recognized as an illegitimate regime and led to the proposal of an alternative ideology by ulema [religious scholars]. This finally led to the expansion of revolutionary morale and action against Pahlavi courtiers which in turn played a pivotal role in the formation and victory of the Islamic revolution.

Aimed at exploring Islamic awakening and its continuation, this article introduces characteristics of a religious revolution, its success and how it occurs. Islamic revolution of Iran and its aspirations and leadership has been studied as a comprehensive example. Finally nine methods have been introduced out of the most important methods to continue Islamic awakening.

The main question of this article is whether the theory of religious democracy theoretically speaking and its pragmatist approach has enough capacity to set an example in the future of Islamic-Arab countries in the region. The current article tries to find the answer based on theoretical framework of constructivism. Findings of this article indicate that religious democracy considering its theoretical and historical foundations and its application in Iran as a democratic solution based on Islam has enough capacity for political system making in the future in the countries of the region.

Mentioning historical developments of Ashura, this article tries to study its impacts on social developments of Iran from the uprising of June 5th 1963 to December 30th 2009 public movement and examines similarities and differences of Ashura’s function in pre-revolutionary and post-revolutionary Iran. It also tries to present an analysis of the prospects of this subject.

The main question of this article is how authority has been configured in the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Iran. The proposed hypothesis is that authority has a different, one of a kind and novel formation in the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Iran. It has a dual and linear configuration; it has recognized divine authority and Islam’s regulations as the base and foundation of authority and government on one hand and along with this divine authority it has valued the foundations of republic and people’s authority on the other hand and has configured it in the frameworks of Islamic regulations and has brought about divine-republic dual authority.

Since general diplomacy addresses people as a component of soft power and considers shaping public opinion, it has recently attracted the attention of governments and they try to secure their national interests. This article assumes that general diplomacy in Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign policy has a close bond with principles and values of Islamic revolution. By applying policies and benefiting from related institutions and tools, Islamic Iran has tried to promote and spread objectives and values of Islamic revolution among other nations.
