Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of narrative couple therapy and integrative behavior couple therapy on improvement of Conflict solving Tactics in female victims of violence who have referred to Ahwaz counseling centers. Through convenience sampling, 45 couples were selected from the society of the couples who had referred to Ahwaz counseling centers and were randomly assigned into three groups. The Iranian form of Conflict Tactics Scales were used to gather the data. Treatment sessions were conducted once a week according to the treatment protocol for the treatment groups. The results of MANOVA showed significant differences between the treatment and control groups in conflict solving tactics and confirmed the research hypothesis that indicated effects of narrative couple therapy and integrative behavior couple therapy on improvement of conflict solving tactics. Findings of this study suggest that couple therapy interventions lead to the change of conflict solving tactics.

Abstract:

Increasing the age of marriage among females is one of the changes that occur because of changes in the macro -level society. The phenomenon of increasing age among single females causes damages such as psychiatric disorders. The aim of the present study was to compare psychopathological profile between married and single women. A sample consists of 240 subjects of single and married women; aged 30 to 45 working at health and cure domain of Tabriz medical science university were selected by aimed sampling method. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). There is a significant different between two groups in depression and sensitivity interactive communication. Depression and sensitivity interactive communication in the single group was more than the married group but the difference between two groups was not significant in the other subscale of SCL90. This study significantly showed psychiatric problems such as depression and interpersonal sensitivity so this emphasizes the need for more attention from psychologists and family counselors, and other custodians of family matters to these problems.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Fordyce Happiness training on students' coping strategies, Quality of life and optimism. In this pretest-posttest nonequivalent, group design in company with follow up stage, 40 students from Islamic Azad university central branch in experimental and control groups responded to the Quality of life, life orientation test and Lazarus ways of coping Questionnaire. The experimental group received eight Fordyce Happiness training sessions (2 hours for each session). The results of covariance analysis indicated that Fordyce program was effective in increasing quality of life, optimism and problem-focused strategies in short term and long term. Thesis findings suggest that Fordyce program for university students could result in increasing quality of life by effectiveness on optimism and coping strategies.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research was studying the relationship between factors of psychological capital and marital life quality among couples of Isfahan. The research method was correlating descriptive and the statistic population of the research included all couples who lived in Isfahan in 2013. Seventy-five couples were selected by available sampling method. They were asked to fill out Lutans's (2007) psychological capital questionnaire and Fletcher' (2000) marital life questionnaire. Data was analyzed by inferential statistics (Pearson' correlation coefficient, multiple regression and independent t-test). The results indicated that there was a positive relation between psychological capital and marital life among the couples (p.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to explain the differences in social problem solving and rumination in different female age groups living in Shiraz city. The sample consisted of 470 females aged teen to elder. Social Problem Solving Inventory-Revised: Short Form and Rumination Questionnaire were used in this study. Various studies have established the validity and reliability of these devices. Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance and multivariate analysis of variance. Findings showed a significant difference in three dimensions of social problem solving (positive problem orientation, negative problem orientation and avoidance style) and two dimensions of rumination (brooding and introspection) among the different age groups. In sum, the results revealed that these variables are developmental variables during life span.

Abstract:

Health is the most important part of the welfare and it is the assessment of the ability to fulfill the social roles without injuring others, however social security is one of the most important factors that influences on social well-being. Some researches show that decline in social security decreases social well-being and these two subjects have been very influential in women. The main purpose of this study was to examine the relation between social security and social well-being in integration, acceptance, contribution, actualization and coherence and comparison among women living in Shiraz. In this study, Buzan, Vior, Mollar viewpoints of social security and Keyes viewpoint of social well-being were used. This study used the survey method with questionnaire among over 384 residents, in two zones (2 and 6) in Shiraz. Samples selected through Quota random sampling among nine zones in Shiraz that are different by education and income. Pearson correlation and analysis of regression were employed to test the hypotheses. The data analysis shows that there is a significant and positive relation between women’s sense of security and women’s social well-being and supervision effect on this relation. Social security has the greatest impact on social integration and social coherence.

Abstract:

This study was conducted to propose an explanation model for mother-daughter conflict based on mother personality, maternal marital conflict, mother conflict resolution style and daughter conflict resolution style. This study was a type of correlation studies relying on multi variable regression statistical sample and structural equation model. The sample included 160 pairs of adolescent girls and their mothers. They were randomly selected from guidance school students in Naeen city. The research instruments included parental attitudes index, child attitude toward mother scales, conflict management styles, marital conflict questionnaire and NEO-FFI. Structural equation modeling results indicated that measured variables in this study totally could explain 71% of daughter conflict with mother changes and 59% of mother conflict with daughter changes (P<0.05). Among the variables, daughter conflict resolution style with 55% prediction power of daughter conflict variance and maternal marital conflict with 29% prediction power of mother conflict variance had the most important roles. The fit indexes supported the usefulness of this model.

Abstract:

The present study deals with the relationship between parenting styles and the mothers' life styles in Ilam city. First the studies done in this field were reviewed, then based on a theory inspired by Bourdieu and Gidens' ideas six presuppositions were introduced. Four hundred mothers from Ilam were selected by multi-stage random sampling to test the presuppositions. The method of this research was survey and done by means of a questionnaire. The results at the level of correlation show that there is a significant relationship between the variables of life style and parenting style. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis, the Wald statistics show that they explain 72.7, 76.6, and 79.6, 74.1 percent of the dependent variables of dominant, easy-going, opinionated, and neglectful parenting style respectively. This study shows that choosing a different life style results in a different parenting style.
