Abstract: 

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of the concept of service quality in a supply chain and present a framework for its measurement. A literature review was conducted on key service quality models and measurement issues. Various dimensions related to the quality of service were explored. This was followed by in-depth exploratory interviews at different levels. Based on the insights gained, a conceptual framework for measurement of quality of service in supply chain is presented. The paper presents a conceptual model of service quality in supply chains based on gap analysis. They include the gap between supplier and focal firm, focal firm and distributor, and distributor and customer. The assessment of quality of service in the supply chain is an attempt to cover the relatively less explored area. It is expected that this research will further motivate researchers to work in this area. This service quality framework will be beneficial to researchers and practicing managers in identification of opportunities for improvements in service quality. This paper explores research in the less explored area and offers practical help to researchers and practitioners in providing a direction for service quality improvement in the supply chain.

Abstract: 

At first the specifications of the World Class Organization (WCO) which is the main subject, is studied in this research. Then we identified 14 effective factors (& 49 indicators) in sapco for achieving World Class supplier chain management. The next step is, prioritizing these factors in AHP approach via 1) questionnaire and interview with manager in various departments in sapco, 2) "even comparison" 14 factors to another. Number of factors with top priorities are leaders, business fundamental factors, staff, R&D, technology, Finally we Provide appropriate solutions (for the top factors) to achieve World Class supplier chain management through gap analysis between actual situation and WCSCM.

Abstract: 

Meeting customer=requirements with minimum cost in order to increase the value is one of the main challenges of the organizations, and organizations are looking for effective methods to achieve this aim. One of the most effective methods in the world is the implementation of lean production and in particular to achieve "Just in time Production", through "Pull Production". However, most organizations have faced problems in the deployment of the system and the expected results are not achieved. In this Research the key factors affecting the successful implementation of pull production systems with experts are based on 17 factors and six outputs which are assessed and prioritized using the TOPSIS technique. Furthermore, a comparative study of the effects of key factors on the results of "Pull Production" system implemented 10 projects in the automotive parts manufacture members of the IRANKHODRO supply chain in which the performance is measured and prioritized. The results indicate that the most important Key success factors in implementing pull production system are as follows: protection and management commitment, teamwork, smooth production, process management, continuous improvement and planning rules.

Abstract: 

Technology is widely accepted as necessary for improving development programs to achieve higher living standards, especially in developing countries where industrial growth plays a very significant role. There are many aspects in the transfer process that need to be considered and a number of potential barriers to overcome. Many of the TT projects fail to produce desired results due to lack of careful planning. In order to provide understanding of TT's influential factors for both parties, this paper adopted the method of F AHP to determine and prioritize the importance of these factors in Irankhodro Company (IKCO). Also, this study develops a Fuzzy rule-based analysis to evaluate the effectiveness ofTT. It helps this company to evaluate the feasibility of TT. This study finds that government, product life cycle, market scale and complexity of technology are highly influential. These factors must be considered when the company decides to implement TT activity.

Abstract: 

In today current environment, managers of vehicle companies try to make their organizations competitive and responsive by creating on time delivery capability oF quality products and services based on customer's needs. To do so, maintenance as a system has a crucial role in decreasing costs, minimizing equipment down time, improving quality, increasing productivity and providing equipment reliability and finally, reaching to the organization's qualitative and quantitative goals. So, maintenance approach selection is a kind of multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem toward reaching mentioned goals, which requires considering a large number of complex factors as multiple evaluation criteria. This article uses Delphi technique for determining effective factors on suitable maintenance approach, ANP technique that is a relatively new MCDM method which can deal with all kinds of interactions between criteria systematically for selection of suitable approach and DEMATEL technique for determining the direction of criteria in tow Iran KHODRO Diesel and SAIP A Diesel as the biggest work vehicle producers in Iran and Middle East. The results showed that preventive maintenance (PM) is suitable approach for tow studied cases as work vehicle industry.

Abstract: 

Different policies in the arrangement and storage of items in stock there. This paper deal with correlated storage location problem by considering whole of the impact factors on products storing process. A warehouse with large, heavy and varied products was studied. The primary objective of this research is effective space utilization and information's about the relationships between products, orders and warehouse are included of clustering factors. The research has two major steps, including the clustering of items and the assignment of products in storage locations. A non-hierarchical k-mean clustering approach used for solve the clustering problem and a heuristic algorithm is used for solving the location assignment problem. In the first step Ten clusters were extracted and named then the warehouse space was divided into some storage locations and Heuristic algorithm assigned groups to storage locations. The results shown close to 30 percent improved in the occupied area in the studied warehouse.

Abstract: 

The present paper analyses the performance of the Iranian thermal power plant by working out the technical efficiency using the mathematical model of data envelopment Analysis (DEA). The DEA is a non linear programming way of calculating technical efficiency of the decision making units. This study use a Malmquist productivity index to investigate Total factor productivity (TFP) change for common set of Thermal power plants existing between 2002 and 2008 using prowess data base. The total factor productivity is decomposed into efficiency change (catching up phenomena) and technical change (innovations). The paper confirms the improvement in productivity, efficiency change and technical change of the Iranian thermal power plants from 2002 to 2008 and thus, help Tavaneer Company to monitor and diagnose changes in the productivity of its thermal power plants. Furthermore, the results allow the agents to defme their efficiency profile as a function of their competitors and suggest to them some of the efficiency improvements that they should undertake. in the face of the continuing liberalization of the Iranian power generation market Our analysis suggests that improvements in the efficiency and productivity of thermal power plant in iran have occurred, and there is a relationship between the restructuring and the enhancement of productivity.
