Abstract:

Surgery is a specialized and important branch of Persian Medicine from third to twelfth A.H. because of the delicacy and sensitivity of eye surgery. So this field is needed to know with lots of expertises and clinical experiences. So some proven principles and techniques can be drawn by examining the writings in the field of eye surgery in the Persian medicine. That laws have been proven and accepted by the majority ophthalmic surgeons. The main objective of this research is extraction of this principles and techniques. Methodology is descriptive- analytical method, based on the collected information from the basic texts of eye surgical, and drawn with inductive method in extensive specified time, principles and techniques of this knowledge. According to this important principles of ophthalmologists for differential diagnosis Criteria have been listed below: appearance, place the rise, due to illness, precaution stop the bleeding, suturing and use of singular and composite herbal medicines. The first pillar in the main techniques in surgery was survey tools and the incision width down by strip and without strip. Admittedly, in a final conclusion, 2 to 5 A.H has been a brilliant period in the eye surgery with incision method. After this period, with the decline of Islamic civilization in all aspects, this knowledge was also stagnated. Most sources have been description and summarization base texts from this knowledge, such as: Al-havi fi al-tibb Razi, Kamil al-sina’at al-tibbiye Ali Ibn Abbas Ahwazi, Qanon fi al-tibb Avicenna and Chapter thirty Al-tasrif liman "ajaz" an al-talif Zahravi. Perhaps the most important reason have been lack of development of the means and change from the macroscopic to the microscopic thoes delayed both, in theory and practical evolution ofthis knowledge until the twentieth century and the arrival of modern medicine.

RG (Ruta Graveolens) is very green plant like as if there is Pale dust on tiny leaves. This plant reduced sex drive in men and causes to abortion. Also it repels magics in popular believes. In the past this plant added to wines to reduce the harms and improve the quality of drinks. These characteristics and properties of RG have been used in Persianpoets’ poems. But no classified research about its use has not yet been done separately and the resources and references that studied plants in Persian literature only confine to mention several samples. The study of the use of RG from point of medicine and botanical and its usage in ritual clears that this plant and its applications to all Persian poets are not know. But use it in wine, green RG and its advantages and disadvantages has been the largest manufacturing sector for the poets.

Abstract:

Iranian Traditional medication is a science which is a combination of art and sagacity with ancient roots. One of the criteria of Iranian medication is use of poetry for instant learning and easy transfer of medical information to the general public. Thereafter, we can see prominent physicians in Iranian medical history including Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Herawi, who have codified medical books in form of poem. Most of his medical works are written in from of a poem. One of his most prominent works is Jamie-alfawayid.In this study, we have qualitative review of the studies society, Persian medical poems of Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Herawi and a sample study of Jamie-alfawayid poem. We have done a content analysis of the poem after observations and derivation of its features. The medical poem of Jamie-alfawayid is one of the most numerous manuscripts since the tenth lunar century. It has been well-known for its significance, briefness and simplicity. One of its prominent features is its concise transfer of medical message and introduction of a hundred and seventy seven diseases along with their cures including: diseases of the head, Psychiatric diseases, diseases of eyes, ear nose and throat, tongue and gum and teeth, lungs, heart, Stomach, liver, intestines, bladder, diabetes, men and women diseases, joint diseases and general body pains such as fevers, swellings and tumors, skin and hair diseases, diseases caused by animal's bites. According to the researches done on other Persian medical poems after the tenth century, this poem has introduced a disease called Ziabitis. Explanation of Persian medical poems is a way to introduce and to document them, which needs to be done for these scientific resources. Moreover, we can work on the texts of the Persian medical poems in order to understand the true meaning of concepts and medical contextswhich is the prerequisite of every kind of correction, research or writing.
